Happy ⚓️ Day from Brand Momentum ! Also a very very VERY happy Diwali 🪔 to everyone celebrating! Todays ⚓️ was jam packed! We kicked off with an amazing presentation from the president of Halo Top Canada Anne-Marie Docherty who gave us amazing insights on customer service and excellence! My top 3 favourite takeaways: ✅ The 24 hour rule! If there is something that needs to be actioned from a client or customer immediately, do it within 24 hours. If you are experiencing a situation that requires regrouping, wait 24 hours before any follow up and outreach. Giving ourselves time and grace to mentally process and brainstorm on effective next steps. ✅ Understand client communication preferences. Communication is not a one size fits all, understand early on how your client/ customer prefers to be approached to enrich interactions moving forward. ✅ When writing an email that is being sent externally ask yourself, “how would I feel if this email was posted in the newspaper “. Using this thought track as a guideline on how to frame language, tone and intent After the amazing session concluded, we were invited to experience, learn and celebrate with our fellow colleagues who were celebrating Diwali! A day full of goodness, laughs , learning and sweet eats! #BrandMomentum#Goodness

2023 Diwali - 7 people in the Team. 2024 Diwali - 70+ Box Ordered. (10x Growth) Including our clients, employees and wellwishers. I started my Entrepreneurial journey in 2019. The first 2 years it was a lonely journey. I never knew I needed to celebrate it with gifts etc. Because... I set a target, I achieved it. No one to celebrate. I closed a big deal. No one to celebrate. I innovated a successful project. No one to celebrate. But, when I formed a team, they expected celebrations and appreciation. (New learning for me) 2023, My mentor told me to get them Diwali gifts. So found some pages on Instagram and ordered 12 boxes. Shared with them. Felt happy. 2024, we curated a beautiful hamper for every client, employee and wellwishers. Each gift was customised for them. Happiness is seeing the surprise on their face while opening it. Few learnings in this journey 😇 As a Founder you don't need appreciation, but your employees need that. Never skip them. 😇 When you grow, make sure you hold 10% - 15% of your income to give back and celebrate your people. 😇 Sending gifts is okay. Sending customised gifts will make your clients feel touched and you also create a great impression. Use this opportunity. I shared my journey and learnings. What did you do for your Diwali? Diwali Vibes & Team Ties! 🪔✨ This year, I got to experience Diwali celebrations not only within my own organization but also enjoyed the festive spirit with another team. It was a time full of fun, lights, and laughter, but most importantly, it was a chance to bond with my coworkers on a whole new level.✨ Celebrating together isn’t just about enjoying sweets and sparklers; it’s about building strong connections and a positive work culture. Here’s what makes celebrating with the team so meaningful: 🎉 Stronger Bonding: Getting together for festive occasions breaks the routine and helps us see each other beyond our work roles. It creates a sense of belonging and mutual respect. 💡 Boosted Morale: A bit of fun and celebration rejuvenates everyone, making the team feel more energized and motivated when we’re back to work. 🤝 Better Collaboration: When we share these moments, we understand each other better, which naturally leads to improved teamwork and collaboration. 😊 Creates Lasting Memories: Celebrations are more than events; they are memories that remind us of the good times, even on tough days. This Diwali taught me that coming together as a team is truly something to celebrate. 1000 followers and a ton of gratitude. (that too on Diwali, I feel blessed ♥︎) It’s been a journey, no doubt. ➤ From thinking about what my friends will think of me to being consistent and sharing my opinions. ➤ From telling myself “I don’t think I’ll ever be consistent” to being consistent for 6 weeks—and counting. ➤ From blocking people I knew whenever they liked my content or connected with me to feel happy and proud whenever anyone sees my work. The biggest lesson? It’s not about having 1,000 followers. It’s about becoming the person who has a 1k of followers. Along the way, I’ve learned a few things: ⟶ Consistency >>> perfection ⟶ Being myself—because it attracts the right people. ⟶ The importance of showing up, even when it’s uncomfortable. ⟶ And that growth isn’t just in numbers; it’s also in mindset and confidence. And now, I’m here, grateful to each of you for part of this journey. Here’s to all of us, growing and evolving. And this is only the beginning. P.S. - Happy Diwali Guys ✨

At Metvy, we took Diwali virtual this year! Even though most of our team works remotely, we weren't going to let that stop us from celebrating together. So we did the next best thing: threw a big virtual Diwali bash! From a rangoli-making competition (who knew you could get that creative on a screen?!) to quizzes that got everyone’s brains buzzing, we had it all. The best part? Everyone got a chance to unwind, share laughs, and even showcase some serious dance moves and singing skills. Shawrya Mehrotra and I got to interact with everyone, sharing stories and festive vibes. Celebrating remotely might be different, but it definitely doesn’t have to feel distant. So, a reminder to all remote teams out there: don't let distance dampen your spirit. Celebrating Diwali With a Small Win. 🌱 As we celebrate Diwali, I also celebrate my one-month journey of writing content on LinkedIn. ✌🏻 It may be small, but it was a crucial step for me as a Writer. Looking back, I remember hiding behind the face of fear, a need for acceptance, and the feeling of not having enough content. Self-doubt often holds us back from taking action. Isn’t it? A post shared by my fellow academy mate, who brings useful content on LinkedIn, nudged me to take action.
