In T minus 10 days, I'll be rocking around GDC. Let's hang out! 1. We can talk about lore and lore mastering, whether it's the timeline issues you need help solving, or the software you use to organize your docs, I'm all ears and solutions. 2. I'm a massive nerd who loves taking notes, so you can bet that I'll be Mad Max Furiosa scribbling in sessions. Whether you couldn't attend, had to duck out, or want to compare notebook doodles, we should chat! 3. My face masks are going to be *epic* - I'll be designing and decorating a new mask for every day of GDC to both ward off convention crud AND provide a sick icebreaker. What's not to love? Keeping kids safe while they enjoy Halloween is so important, and technology can lend a hand in several ways. Here are some tech to-do’s: 📱✅ Have a pre-set communication plan. This can include emergency contacts and check-in schedules. 🔋⚡️ Make sure devices are fully charged and consider backup sources of power for extended periods of time. 📱🛡️ Use GPS apps to monitor kids’ locations in real-time, ensuring safe physical boundaries. 📸🚫 Remind your kids to not post their costume or location in real-time on social media. 🗺️📍 Map out a safe trick-or-treat route ahead of time, avoiding extra busy streets as well as isolated areas. 🔦🦺 Equip kids with flashlights, reflective tape, and/or glow sticks for better visibility at night.
