For those of you that have been following my configuration breadcrumbs for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, you may have noticed that I have been using local VM's running on Hyper-V. Why? Because: - They are cheap (the cost of a good workstation rather than $500 a month for a cloud hosted environment) - They run just as fast as the cloud hosted environments (with enough memory) - You can have as many of them as you can fit on your hard drive. Let's hope that Microsoft keep on supporting them and deliver them through LCS into the future.
