I've been editing for almost two decades now. I've used nearly all of the NLE's (non-linear editor/editing) and some ancient linear editing hardware. I have a lot of knowledge about CODEC's, storytelling, technical issues, cameras, etc. I have seen multitudes of courses/tutorials, online and off, and have taken a few courses myself. I am curious if anyone here sees any gaps in those tutorials that need to be filled. Is there a need for shorter video tutorials? Or do we need more in-person training? More overview tips, or detailed how-to's? More fundamentals or nuts and bolts? What say ye?
