This year for National Nurse Practitioner Week, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners recognizes the role NPs play at the heart of health care, emphasizing their position in our communities as trusted providers who increase patient access to primary care services.
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Our NPs at The Little Clinic play a vital role in community health, and we’re incredibly lucky to have them on our team!
Thank you to our NPs for all they do every day to change the way healthcare is delivered in America. Happy #NPWeek!
Hi everyone. This year, in honor of National Nurse Practitioner Week, we're delighted to recognize the role that implies lay at the heart of healthcare, emphasizing their position in our communities as trusted providers who increase patient access to primary care services. I am so proud of our little clinic teams for providing the gold standard of care every single day. While we're faced with tremendous opportunities for growth at Kroger Health, TLC has consistently risen to the challenge. Without sacrificing the quality of care that they give to our patients and our communities. I had an aunt I was really close with and she was studying for nursing and she was kind of a role model to me. I shadowed and I loved it. I was just on a random floor in the hospital and I was like, I think this is what I want to do. We keep the patients best interests at heart and it's all about, you know, being that advocate for the patient. Science background. I was a biology major before I went into nursing, so I do like the science aspect of it, but really just that personal connection to help people change how they're feeling into a better outcome. We go anywhere from just. Creating like a simple like upper respiratory infection all the way to having some people. We manage their primary care. I'm seeing suitcases, we're doing primary care, preventative care, we're doing vaccines. The main thing is just meeting people where they are because this is where they shop a primary care office. It might take them even days, weeks to get in. We can just get them after hours on the weekends where a lot of places aren't open. And so being able to help them when they need us is what really keeps me here. I love the interaction with people and. Like how you can really change someones day. I love that. That's I think what I love most about health care. Thank you to our exceptional nurse practitioners. Your backgrounds, your experiences, and your skills bring so much to the table, and I'm grateful for your dedication to helping people live healthier lives. Hay National Nurse Practitioner Week.
