#leadership #politics #nobelprize I saw this article by Dr. Parag Khanna at the top of my feed yesterday but decided to leave it alone. I am commenting now because I do not want it to catch on on social media. Khanna, of World Economic Forum and Georgetown, operating out of the city state of Singapore, still has some ways to go before he and Klaus Schwab along with Bill Clinton get it together. If they could, they would have already. That they did not implies, they are not there yet. I let people muddle along in entropy, as I said in an earlier post of mine citing McArthur “genius” award winner, American philosopher Richard Rorty, about the human condition: https://lnkd.in/e9HcCCsM. There are echoes of my above post in Khanna’s article. Intellectual honesty, not self-ordained entitlement, matters. I have been going through this circus with Washington for a very long time, more than 30 years https://lnkd.in/eDqhGucD. It is the same movie all over again with a change of actors. Putting on a different mask or using a different front palatable to Western ideological resistance to change does not change behavior, behavioral change, however, being critical to sustain order in a universe whose natural condition is entropy https://lnkd.in/dbJ_2N8A. Eventually everybody will come along as they did 600 years ago, the new sheep some of whom became the new wolves after the Renaissance in stealth. It is not about “feasible utopia”. This is not delusional flights of fancy such as Elon Musk’s Mars and Khanna’s MOVE, not Kissingerian realpolitik, still a European and Asian psychopathology which has unfortunately also afflicted America, but realism since Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson, a very American original. The proof of realism is in the pudding of United States of America since 1776 which culminated in 1947, not in Jawaharlal Nehru’s or Veer Savarkar’s but in Mahatma Gandhi’s India, American civil rights movement led by MLK, and later in the end of South African apartheid by Nelson Mandela.
