For as important as #heatpumps are to the energy transition, we've made the deployment of this equipment far too confusing. Everything from sizing them properly to coordinating multiple contractors to financing and accessing rebates - the process can be complicated. For this week's Eight Minutes podcast episode, I sat down with DR Richardson and Jan Keleher of Elephant Energy to discuss how their business model is breaking down those constraints, making it easier for homeowners to access heat pumps and becoming a "one stop shop" for everything needed. During our conversation, we dug not only into the challenges from a residential perspective, but also upcoming #IRA incentives to look out for - and the difficulties of deploying heat pumps at scale.
