There are exciting opportunities for AI to help support people’s mental health, but responsible development is key. Here are four key ways to think about creating AI that can support people’s mental health around the world: https://goo.gle/3TmQokA
One of the most important efforts of our lifetime is ensuring the foundational elements are in place for strong / resilient mental health. A missing component to the solution today is an assessment mechanism to understand the current mental resiliency of individuals and their default approaches for learning (VARK).The current system does not offer any diagnostic tools for resilience or adaptive learning styles, rather it just defaults to a standard learning approach, yielding, minimal improvements in outcomes.
It's encouraging to see AI being explored in the mental health space. The potential for AI to provide scalable, supportive tools that help people manage their mental well-being is very exciting. I also appreciate Google's focus on responsible development, as it’s crucial to ensure these advancements are made with care and consideration. I'm interested to see how this technology can further support mental health on a global scale.

1moGoogle Health: You get me! Here's my favorite prompt to train my AI to "responsibly" help me... "I'm a late-diagnosed ADHDer and I'm triggered by X, Y, Z. When this happens I tend to ruminate, creating anxiety. I'm also, at times, impatient and I have poor working memory due to the executive dysfunction from my ADHD. I need you to please build me 2-3 easy-to-remember mantras that I can recite when I recognize my triggers so I can quickly get out of, or avoid altogether, any swirl. Thank you." And yes, I say please and thank you.
