What happens when the deskilling starts hitting hard? Well, apparently, you still have a chance of getting rehired (elsewhere). Why? That technology, Framework, Platform, Edge function, or whatever doesn’t cover all the required resources it says it will. Shocker. Design Systems, specifically skilled Design System teams, emerge as a company’s valuable resource in the face of deskilling challenges. Their role is not just about maintaining consistency and efficiency but also an opportunity to provide the necessary resources for getting that UI implemented. Don't be fooled by the hype. #designsystems #frontend #designengineering #uxengineering #deskilling

Good Products = Know Your User + Design Right + Detail-Oriented Dev. Simple, right? Design's covered by the pros. But, "knowing your user" and "focusing on details" often fall short, thanks to operational shortcuts or just human nature. 🤷♀️ Tip: Spend a few hours mapping user understanding and decision-maker assumptions. This small step can prevent big missteps, saving years of effort. For "detail-oriented dev," ditch the docs and make designers and developers co-create. Close collaboration > everything else for delivering as envisioned. We'd love to know your go-to strategies. Share them! 👇 #userresearch #userexperience #design #buildux

Design operations (aka DesignOps) is the engine that keeps the design process humming along so that designers can focus on what they do best (you know, designing). 👩💻 It ensures your team’s sanity, allowing them to focus on the work itself rather than reinventing the wheel or “how” to get the work done every time. This stuff is especially crucial as your design firepower grows—whether with new designers, devs, or product peeps. Wondering how to get started? Our blog post on Standardizing design through DesignOps has you covered: https://lnkd.in/gfwR2u-6 #DesignOps #UXdesign #designprocess

🚀Attention all Designers, Code Wizards, and Visionaries! 🎨💻🔮 Ever felt like your brilliant product ideas are stuck? You're not alone! It's time to break down those barriers and join forces to bring more amazing products to life. Picture this: Designer: "I've got this incredible UI that'll blow minds!" 🧑💻 Developer: "Cool story, bro. But can it work out?" Product Owner: Sounds familiar?😎 Let's flip the script! Up next 🤝 Operation: Idea Implementation 🤝 Step 1: Gather your squad (Designers, Developers, Product Owners) Step 2: Lock yourselves in a room (virtually works too!) Step 3: Arm yourselves with sticky notes, whiteboards, and an unhealthy amount of coffee (no overdose please) Step 4: Unleash the brainstorm! Remember: There are no bad ideas, only "features for version 2.0" 😉 Challenge: For one week, have daily 15-minute huddles where each team member shares one wild idea. No judgments, just possibilities! Who knows? The next big thing might come from that "crazy" idea your backend developer had about an AI-powered toaster that predicts your mood based on your bread choice! 🍞🤖 Let's turn "That'll never work" into "we did it!" Together, we can bridge the gap between daydreams and downloads through healthy collaboration. What's your take on the AI-powered toaster? or you have an idea similar, let's talk. #Bringingstartupideastolife #productdesign #Websitedesign #UIdesign
