Friday was my last day at Humane. It was a great journey and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of this team. We built some incredible stuff, and solved problems that looked impossible. I’m excited to see many of those things continue to iterate and get better. Most of my contributions centered around human-device interaction, including touchpad input gestures, and UI rendering and animation. 3D hand tracking opened up so many interaction possibilities beyond a 2D screen that I think we only scratched the surface. As for what’s next: Things aligned just right for a very rare opportunity I couldn’t let pass, to build something independently with some key people. I’ll start sharing details as we go and as it starts taking shape.
