I will cast my vote by mail this week. I won’t be voting blindly for either party, as both have disappointed me. So it will be choosing candidate by candidate. Biggest curse on all of us has been extreme polarization, dogma, hatred for the other, and monkeying around with ideas that could hurt the nation long term. This has happened in politics, in media, and even in our smaller communities. We became the caricatures we joked about. We need to find leadership, and policies, that serve our greater interest long term. And individuals who aren’t reckless, but have intelligence, empathy, humility, and a desire to serve and to help build. And win. Leadership that allows us to dream a better future for all. I am long 🇺🇸. But we have a lot of work to do. And I continue to have deep faith that technology and entrepreneurship is a core part of the solution set.
Nonetheless this kind of both-sider-ism normalizes Trump and the party that's gone along with him. And I think that's a bad idea.
100% in agreement! Both parties need to start thinking of new progressive leadership that is thinking of greener, peaceful, economically thriving world for our next generations to come. If the two parties do not have what it takes, we must plant a seed for a third party!
The election won’t be a close result, the incumbent hasn’t done enough.
We need people at places like Lux Capital to stop investing-in/funding the assholes who make money off of the polarization. What did you do today to effectuate that?
Note that “extreme polarization” is possible only via media… 😉

3wDesire to serve counts for so much. There are good examples of that on both sides of the aisle. But we voters also need to follow higher ideals by voting what we think is best for America long term vs what tax breaks we are being promised. The country cannot afford either candidates promises. They are making them in a desperate race to the bottom due to voters narrow decision ing around who to vote for. We all need to be a bit better than this.
