“I worked closely with Tom when he was a PM Director in Google Research and I was a PM Manager leading a team of PMs developing novel healthcare AI capabilities that eventually graduated to our Cloud Healthcare vertical APIs. This was a complex project with many stakeholders across the Alphabet organization and I couldn't have wished for a better guide to help navigate it. Tom has a wonderful curiousity, a startup-mindset and an intuition for asking the right question at the right time to help you gain insights and get unstuck. He has terrific empathy for users and their experiences, but also a healthy regard for data to inform decisons and strategies. All in all - Tom is an incredible well-rounded PM leader with strong situational awareness and ability to adapt as needed to achieve the best results for the organization. As well as all this, he genuinely cares about the people he works with, particularly his team, and I always felt strongly supported and recognized by him. He's also great fun to work with and I wouldn't hesitate to join one of his teams in the future if the opportunity arose.”
