“ Meredith is an extremely talented UX/UI product designer, analyst, problem solver, consultant, and leader. Her focus on the business scenarios and the desired outcomes helped our business partners clearly understand their design options and impacts, ultimately leading to a successful new product launch. On that project, we both came into a project team when the project status was red. I represented the business and she was the design/technical lead. The challenges facing that project were that the project scope had not been effectively managed, design was disorganized and behind schedule, and what was needed was control, effective processes and solid design principles to get back on track. Meredith partnered effectively to get the business focused on design options that not only met business needs but were also in line with the budget. Additionally, Meredith consulted effectively to ensure that what the business asked for was in the approved project scope. That consultation and control was essential to the technology team’s ability to deliver the solution on time and within budget. And one last point – Meredith is forward thinking and applies common sense as she facilitates priority decisions between the business and the technical team. If making a design decision to deliver a feature now vs. later saved time and delivered value, she would effectively convince the technical team to include it. If a request wasn’t essential, she would dissuade the business from pushing for it. Overall, Meredith’s contributions to this project were essential to successful delivery. Bottom line, Meredith is a valuable team player. With her leadership, design and technical abilities, and her excellent consultant and facilitation skills, Meredith can be a key contributor on any project or team.
