The award, presented by Tech Unite Africa for Tech Innovation Recognition and Awards (TIRA), recognizes ALX’s contributions to the tech ecosystem across Africa through its innovative platform structure.

The GAGE Awards, one of Africa’s biggest digital awards, renowned for celebrating excellence and innovation, has bestowed this accolade upon ALX in recognition of its exceptional contributions to the tech industry. With a focus on empowering young people and providing them with the knowledge, skills and support they need for a successful tech career, ALX emerged as a beacon of innovation and a catalyst for personal and professional growth.

ALX was declared winner of the Social Innovation Award, which was meant to honour start-ups that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to social innovation and fostering sustainable development through their technological innovations. In a highly contested category, the tech provider secured the highest votes beating other top nominees such as Slum2School, LifeBankNG, Hervest, Clafiya, MDaas Global, and Dynalimb Technologies.
