Designers want to know how to level up and charge more. The path there is not as complicated as you think. First, analyze the market you are serving. Do they have large budgets? If not, shift to a market with more financial resources to invest in design.

Product adoption and my struggle with switching from Telegram app • Product design perspective 🌚 I've been using Telegram for connecting with friends, family (even my 75 y.o. grandma!), and reading news for about 7 years now. Yet due to Telegram’s russian origins, I’m looking for alternatives (currently, I’m trying to use Signal). But it’s hard to switch. My struggle relates to key principles in digital product adoption and user behavior: 📱Critical mass = the threshold of adoption necessary for a product's sustainability. In my case, Signal hasn't reached this threshold within my social circle. 🕸️Network effect = a product’s value increases with its user base. For me, Telegram's usage increases with each connected contact there. 🤝 And these principles aren’t just about messaging apps. They apply to any collaborative tool. 🧠 So how can we, as product designers and product managers, ensure a seamless transition for an entire social or professional network when switching digital tools? Whether it's adopting a new task manager at work, collaborating on a different virtual whiteboard with classmates, or changing our go-to messaging app? And lastly, a moment for reflection: ✨Our digital habits also reflect our values and personality. But how to balance between our personal ethics against that ”inertia” of our social circle? P.S. Any tips on teaching my grandma how to use a new chatting app are highly appreciated! 😅

🤓 Hand-off files This is usually how I prepare my files for Development or QA. I always try to be as detailed as needed. I don't believe in self-explanatory files; good communication with implementation and testing teams is crucial. All my layers are properly named in Title Case or whatever the naming convention is. (Always properly defined with devs) Some other things that I would include are side notes and little prototypes. #handoff #devs #qa #implementation #wysiwyg #ux #ui #uxui

I Decided To Expand My EXP With AR 😎🔥🕹️ I've been thinking for a long time about what to study after the VR course, the choice was between Creative Core and AR Development I wanted to take Creative Core from the very beginning of my Unity studies, but since it covers only visual component I decided to postpone it to the end of the course AR course on the contrary complements XR skills at the moment, and I just want to expand my skill set in this area That said, I still plan to do VR prototypes for cool ideas, I'll just change the approach to implementation and generally compare the two in general And do you think it's better to develop on your own and realize your ideas or should you take short trainings on different topics before that?
