Here is another one.... Key Takeaways- -The lack of skilled job applicants is the main factor hampering growth for 33%, along with the cost of living (20%) Again, I would challenge this narrative. Not saying it is incorrect, just saying I would look into this more. I speak with many skilled job applicants daily, and by skilled I am talking about machinists, welders, mechanics, quality professionals, the list goes on. A lot of them will explain how they have been on many interviews, but can't seem to land the new role. I have to ask, why is this? Maybe some people are just poor at interviewing (but can machine a part correctly when given a blueprint, or can fix a downed machine quickly when shown the issue). Perhaps hiring managers/employers instantly pass on a candidates resume when they see they have "jumpy" resumes. But are we asking why they seem "jumpy"? Maybe they were laid off, could be a poor work environment, culture and management issues, or perhaps they were offered a role that was a significant pay increase? The point I am trying to make is that I have seen first hand how some employers/hiring managers claim they "can't find skilled workers", but aren't reflecting on their own internal hiring processes. #connecticutjobs #nowhiring #aerospace #cthasit #madeinct #staffing

The Massachusetts Sales and Use Tax Amnesty Period is a special initiative introduced by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue (DOR) to encourage businesses to resolve overdue taxes. Running for a limited time only between November 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024, the program offers businesses an opportunity to settle outstanding tax liabilities while providing significant relief from penalties and interest. Key Benefits of the Amnesty Program: Waiver of Penalties: Normally, late tax payments accumulate significant penalties. Under the amnesty program, most of these penalties are waived, offering businesses the chance to settle their tax obligations at a much lower cost. Protection from Legal Action: Businesses that participate in the program will not face prosecution or further legal action for the taxes they disclose and pay during the amnesty period.
