Our vision is to provide students with increased access to personalized instruction that bridges learning gaps that may be experienced within the education system. Our purpose is to cultivate confidence within our students, both inside and outside the classroom; and to provide mentorship that helps students navigate through their academic and career plans. As a SiSTEM Tutors you can work a minimum of 25 hours a week during school day hours. Work hours can be full day: 8am to 3pm with a break, OR a half day: 8am-11am or 12pm - 3pm You will work with 1-5 students per group. You do not have to come up with your own resources! We will supply that for you. You can ask for help! We offer 24/7 support and will help guide you with whatever you need, whenever you need it. SiSTEM Tutoring Agency Qualifications & Requirements You must be any of these: A college student A college graduate (Associates, Bachelor’s, Master’s degree holder) A certified or retired teacher And: Eligible to work in the United States of America Expertise in K-12 Math with an emphasis in 5th and 6th grade math Can commit to tutoring for the rest of the 2021-2022 school year (Note: school year ends early June 2022) For in-person tutoring, you must have reliable transportation and be able to attend in-person tutoring sessions in a timely manner Commitment to making a difference in students' lives What You'll Get Working with SiSTEM The opportunity to work with a talented, smart group of students from various backgrounds An awesome boss that does not micromanage!
