Non-profit Organizations
Cycle for Survival is the movement to beat rare cancers. Every dollar raised goes to research at MSK.
About us
Cycle for Survival is the movement to beat rare cancers. 100% of every dollar raised is directly allocated to rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) within six months of the close of fundraising annually. Cycle for Survival has raised over $376 million since it first began in 2007. This milestone reflects the determination and generosity of our passionate community. Approximately 50% of people with cancer are battling a rare cancer, but they often have limited or no treatment options because rare cancer research is drastically underfunded. Together with founding partner, Equinox, Cycle for Survival funding has supported pioneering clinical trials, research studies and major scientific initiatives at MSK, leading to new and better treatment options for patients worldwide. Our amazing Leaders Circle members help MSK doctors and scientists turn today’s bold ideas into next-generation cures by pledging $10,000 or more per year for at least three years. By joining the Leaders Circle, you become part of a group of visionaries and trailblazers who are dedicated to making a lasting impact on rare cancer research. “The Leaders Circle not only provides a predictable funding mechanism for MSK, but it’s also a wonderful community that shares Cycle for Survival’s mission. Many of us have been affected by cancer, and all of us gain hope by seeing where rare cancer research is headed.” —Tim Dilley, co-chair of the Leaders Circle
