CASL’s Alzheimer’s Program (AP) recently partnered with the University of Illinois Chicago Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) departments to deliver multi-lingual transfer training to our 400+ geriatric care workforce. The training provided essential knowledge and skills on safe transfer techniques, particularly tailored for elderly individuals and those living with dementia. By bridging the language gap and prioritizing hands-on learning, we’re equipping our team to offer safer, more compassionate care. We’re proud to work together to enhance the well-being of our community's seniors!
