This can happen to anyone at any time. We should keep our plan B ready. We need to keep this informed to our participants that if something goes wrong, the plan B should be informed. I do convey this in my sessions. So the confidence level for both the trainer & participants would be better

This is so common that most audience understand. Having said that, the show must carry on in a most professional manner and reduce disruption to learners. Here are a few ways to carry on the show, while you seek help to sort out technical glitch. - Switch from using the app to seeking learner comment, make it a discussion - skip this segment and proceed into the next segment - seek help from the audience. While they learn from you on that topic, some of them could be experts sitting in the crowd If all else fails, time out and give everyone a 10-minute break!
