Solid information, well presented. Accurate and detailed illustrations. Worth keeping on the schoolroom Natural Science shelf. But since we no longer have a schoolroom, and since Butterflies are Patient is equally accurate and less didactic (although also less complete in its information), it has been supplanted.

Authored by Rosamund Kidman Cox and Barbara Cork. The book is richly illustrated by several contributors. Contains many colorful drawings of butterflies and moths and their life cycles. An index is included.
