The History | Transition From Little Alchemy to Little Alchemy 2
The game is owned by Recloak Games. Designed by Jakub Koziol (an independent developer), it was first released into the Google Chrome Webstore as Little Alchemy on December 8th, 2010. Later, it was expanded to other platforms, including making its official website. Little Alchemy draws its inspiration from the ancient tradition of Alchemy, so it’s a game of chemistry. It revolves around manipulating four basic elements: Water, Fire, Earth, and Air to make other amazing elements.
The first game had around 100 elements to create, with the four basic elements provided. Later, engineers discovered gaming enthusiasts needed more fun, so they made updates. So, Little Alchemy blossomed into a game with 560 possibilities, touching the hearts of many gaming enthusiasts worldwide.
Little Alchemy maintained its straightforward, minimalist design with basic icons for each element. The interface remains straightforward, too, where players can drag and drop elements to combine them and form different products.
After seven years of playing the first version, the software engineers gave the game a new face. They updated Little Alchemy to Little Alchemy 2 in August 2017, and the transformative evolution made Little Alchemy 2 even more fun. The new game has 720 elements, adding options for the players, which is why it has remained popular.
Little Alchemy 2 is more fun for its more detailed and visually appealing features. The user interface is complex, with a toolbar that allows players to search for specific elements, save their progress, and access other features.
Gameplay | Simple, Experimentations, and Range of Discoveries
Thanks to the Recloak Games’ ingenuity, Little Alchemy 2 is available across multiple platforms, including smartphones and computers. You can play the game online or download it on your phone for thrilling moments when out of the internet. Upon immersing yourself in the game, you’ll discover a world brimming with potential. You can make various items, including life, time, eclipse, and atomic bombs.
Little Alchemy 2 rules are simple: combine the four elements, air, earth, fire, and water, to unlock all the amazing discoveries. Drag and drop the elements of your choice into the screen, then sit back and watch them interact to give you results. Sometimes, you’ll combine elements that won’t react, so never watch them with amazement. Clean off or drag them to give way to other reactive elements.
Considering that you want to make a gold, you must first understand which elements to combine. Playing Little Alchemy requires creative thinking. Here is the formula for creating gold:
1: Earth + Fire=Lava
2: Air + Lava=Stone.
3: Fire + Stone=Metal
4: Water + Fire=Steam
5: Air + Steam=Cloud
6: Air + Cloud=Sky
7: Fire + Sky=Sun
8: Metal + Sun=Gold
As you progress, keep track of your creations on the right side of the screen and continue experimenting by dragging them to the center screen to uncover more. Suppose you find yourself stuck; fear not—Little Alchemy 2 offers hints to nudge you in the right direction.
So, Little Alchemy 2 Takes You to a Unique World Of Thrills
Some formulas are intuitive, while others are much less so, but they all make the process an enjoyable journey of discoveries. There are some discoveries you’ll laugh about. For instance, when you form numerous elements to create a zombie. Check out these amazing combinations that will give you a zombie:
1: Air + Fire = Energy
2: Earth + Water = Mud
3: Air + Water = Rain
4: Air + Earth = Dust
5: Earth + Fire = Lava
6: Earth + Rain = Plant
7: Dust + Fire = Gunpowder
8: Air + Lava = Stone
9: Fire + Stone = Metal
10: Mud + Plant = Swamp
11: Energy + Swamp = Life
12: Gunpowder + Metal = Bullet
13: Earth + Life = Human
14: Bullet + Metal = Gun
15: Gun + Human = Corpse
16: Corpse + Life = Zombie
The science and discoveries make Little Alchemy 2 indeed fun. But the most annoying thing is the game progress stops after discovering all the elements. The game designers would have favored the players by adding a suggestion section where people could suggest new compounds. However, you can clear the screen and restart your journey of discoveries.
