The Sims 4‘s Cause a Sensation season continues with the next Stuff Pack being released, titled Crystal Creations. This pack will allow your Sims to craft jewelry with the crystals and metals that they can find throughout the world. There will also be new Create-A-Sim content and objects coming with this creative pack. The Sims 4 Crystal Creations Stuff Pack will be available from February 29th on PC via Steam and the EA App, Mac via Origin, PlayStation 4 | 5, Xbox One | Xbox Series X/S, and the Epic Games Store for $9.99.
What Crystal Creations Is All About
The Sims 4 Crystal Creations was revealed in a trailer, having been previously foreshadowed in the Cause a Sensation roadmap. With Crystal Creations, crystals and metals will have new purposes as they are used to make jewelry using the new Gemology Table. As shown in the trailer, there will be a lot of customization options when it comes to crafting jewelry. You can pick the design, metal, and crystal to make all kinds, such as earrings, necklaces, rings, and bracelets. Sims can also make 10 unique gemstone cuts, including hearts and gnomes. There’s a new jewelry-crafting skill, called Gemology, in which your Sim’s skill level affects the quality of their work.
Sims will develop their Gemology Skill as they work on their new craft.
Crystal Creations will utilize the 27 different crystals that can be obtained from the base game, Get to Work Expansion, and Jungle Adventure Game Pack, plus this Stuff Pack adds 3 new ones: Amber, Jade, and Moonstone. The rarity of crystals affects where you can find them. Some are easy, while others are much trickier to locate and gather. Some crystals can even be found growing on special crystal trees. Crystals that your Sims obtain can be left in the moonlight to charge on a special Crystal Charging Grid so they can gain unique powers. Your Sim’s creations can have amazing properties, affecting moods, relationships, and careers.
New Create-A-Sim Content and Objects
There’s no pack for The Sims 4 without new clothing and objects. Your jewelry-crafting Sims will look the part with crystal slippers and boots, and artisan clothing such as button down vests and floral shirts, complete with sparkly hair pins and metallic hoops. Simmer Arethabee has collaborated with The Sims to create a set of jewelry available in Create-A-Sim, consisting of a necklace, ring, and earrings. New objects include soft velvet sofas, crystal-studded mirrors, and wallpapers and rugs adorned with moons, suns and stars.
