To kickstart the new season of The Sims 4, we have two brand-new Kits coming on September 19th: The Sims 4 Artist Studio Kit and The Sims 4 Storybook Nursery Kit. These are both Build Kits and will add new objects to the game. These Kits will be made available on all platforms for The Sims 4, including PC via Steam and the EA App, Mac via Origin, PlayStation 4 | 5, Xbox One | Xbox Series X / S, and Epic Games Store. Kits cost $4.99 each.
To go into more detail about what’s included in each Kit, we’ll start with Artist Studio. This Kit allows you to create professional artist studios for Sims who paint all day, whether it’s their hobby, career, or both. Sims will have a true place to paint now thanks to objects such as paintbrushes, cans, new still-life objects to paint, drawers and shelves stuffed with painting supplies. Plus, there’s a new woodworking table and tablet for creative Sims to tinker at.
If Artist Studio focuses on painters, then Storybook Nursery is for the little ones in The Sims 4. With this Kit, newborns, infants and toddlers will be spoiled with brand-new whimsical objects, created in collaboration with SixamCC. Things to look out for include new toys, bassinets, cribs, toddler beds, wallpapers, and décor to create that dream bedroom for tiny tots. Plus, have fun spotting little Easter eggs hinting to the lore of The Sims. For example, is that Bella Goth in that balloon on the mobile?
Both Build Kits, Artist Studio and Storybook Nursery bring something different to The Sims 4.
After the release of Artist Studio and Storybook Nursery, there’s plenty more to come for The Sims 4 until the end of 2024, including the new Life and Death Expansion, expected to arrive on October 31st!
