The Last of Us Part 1 Slightly Delayed on PC

Players must wait until March 28 to get their hands on the PC version of The Last of Us Part 1. In 2022, Naughty Dogs confirmed the critically acclaimed remake is coming to PC in 2023. They set the date on March 3, but they need a few more weeks to ensure the game is in the best shape possible.

The Last of Us Part 1 Slightly Delayed on PC

Naughty Dog tweeted they have delayed The Last of Us Part 1 PC. The devs had announced their hugely anticipated remake to be released on PC on March 3. However, they have decided to postpone the renowned title for a few weeks. Currently, they expect to drop it on March 28, which is well after all episodes of The Last of Us TV series will have aired.

Besides expressing gratitude to the fans for the overwhelming support and love they keep showing Naughty Dog, they also mentioned how pleased they are about the overall great reception of the HBO TV series. The devs hope new players will come to play the iconic title. Also, old fans may opt for returning to the now delayed remake after they have watched the TV show.

With a few extra weeks, Naughty Dog promises the delayed game to be as polished as possible. In 2022, The Last of US Part 1 was released on PS5 and received favorable reviews despite being a remake of a title that dropped in 2013. The initial rumors about the remake met some mixed responses; however, the improvements proved to be distinct.

The reviews hailed improved AI of enemies and companions, the game’s accessibility, and, most noticeably, its enhanced graphics. Its story once again struck hard. PC gamers can look forward to these upgrades in The Last of Us Part 1, which will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
