The Game Awards 2020 Winners

Here is the full list of winners from The Game Awards 2020. Switching from the Microsoft theater to a virtual event due to the coronavirus pandemic didn't take away from the joy felt by the many nominees and grateful winners of the event. Most notably, The Last of Part 2 swept the awards, winning in seven categories.

The Game Awards 2020 Winners

Despite having to resort to a socially distant, live audience-absent, virtual event, The Game Awards 2020 was another night of thrilling game reveals, musical performances and exclusive looks, all put together once again by Geoff Keighley and his team. Even celebrities like Brie Larson, Gal Gadot, Nolan North, Keanu Reeves, Tom Holland and Christopher Nolan joined the virtual party to announce some of the well-earned gaming accolades. The Last of Us Part II was the big winner, claiming seven wins out of the thirty-one categories, including the big one, Game of the Year. Following the stream, Geoff Keighley took to Twitter to share his thanks and that the event had record viewership numbers, which on the next day, he went on to say he’ll share more of next week.
