Following the success of Stellar Blade, the action RPG game is bringing more content for players to enjoy. An exciting addition expected to drop later this year is a crossover between Stellar Blade and Nier: Automata. The news was announced during the September 2024 State of Play in a trailer for Stellar Blade. The first half of the trailer was dedicated to announcing other updates coming to Stellar Blade. In the second half, the crossover between Stellar Blade and Nier: Automata is revealed.
Players can see Stellar Blade’s own protagonist, Eve, transform into Nier: Automata’s 2B. This isn’t the end as the trailer also shows Nier: Automata’s Pod 042 floating next to the transformed Eve. Stellar Blade getting a Nier: Automata crossover DLC has created a buzz. The announcement trailer has surpassed 850K views on YouTube. The trailer, however, doesn’t reveal much about the content that will be included in the crossover DLC.
More Updates Coming to Stellar Blade
Aside from the crossover between Stellar Blade and Nier: Automata, players can expect more updates coming soon. The announcement trailer also shows the upcoming photo mode, which will allow players to take snapshots and more. There will be poses, changing colors, adding filters, and more details. In addition to the photo mode and Stellar Blade and Nier: Automata’s crossover, players are now able to stream Stellar Blade’s full original soundtrack.
The soundtrack includes over 180 tracks from Stellar Blade that are now available on select streaming services. One of the streaming services where players can enjoy Stellar Blade’s soundtrack is YouTube Music. With the success of Stellar Blade, it’s only reasonable to release more updates, such as the crossover with Nier: Automata.
Since its release, Stellar Blade received great reviews. Not to mention that, according to Stellar Blade’s developer, Shift Up, the PlayStation 5 exclusive sold over 1 million copies. There has been news that in the near future the game will also come to PC. The steady interest in Stellar Blade is one of the reasons for all these updates.
