Pre-registration has begun for Honkai: Star Rail, the next title from Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd creator, Hoyoverse.
Players can finally begin pre-registering for Honkai: Star Rail starting today on the iOS and Android app stores. The official Honkai: Star Rail Twitter account tweeted a link to the pre-registration, alongside a giveaway to celebrate the launch. You can pre-register for the game using this link or by heading over to the iOS or Google Play App Stores to pre-register directly on your device.
Pre-registration means that when the game officially launches, you will receive a notification about the game. It will also automatically begin downloading Honkai: Star Rail should you be on an iOS or Android device.
The Twitter post also confirms a campaign for extra in-game rewards based on how many Trailblazers pre-register for the game. This includes 20 free pulls should they reach their final pre-registration goal. There are 5 milestones to hit, each of which gives a different reward. These will be given to all Honkai: Star Rail players once the game officially releases:
- 500,000: 50,000x Credits
- 1,000,000: 3x Star Rail Passes
- 2,000,000: The ‘Trailblazer Welcome’ Avatar
- 3,500,000: 4-Star Character, Serval (Erudtion: Lightning)
- 5,000,000: 15x Star Rail Passes
Honkai: Star Rail is the next game by Hoyoverse (Mihoyo), the creators of Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd and the much anticipated Zenless Zone Zero. Like with their previous titles, Star Rail is a flashy gacha game with high-quality animations, character designs and a deep story that players can look forward to. The twist with Star Rail is that, unlike their previous titles, it will be a turn-based RPG as opposed to an action RPG.
Honkai: Star Rail is currently undertaking its final round of closed Betas. This, alongside the announcement for pre-registration, points to the game becoming available to everyone within the next 3-6 months. We’ll have to wait and see for an official release date announcement.
