One of the most popular Twitch streamers is leaving the platform. Imane Anys, known as Pokimane, announced that she is quitting streaming on Twitch. After a decade of creating content, now is the time for the 27-year-old streamer to end her journey on Twitch. She declared it “The end of an era” and called the platform “her home”. She thanked her lovers for all the memories during her League, Fortnite, and Among Us days. Twitch also responded to this tweet and appreciated for everything she has accomplished in her incredible journey.
Upon the announcement, fans are now curious to know about where she is going. Some streamers who had left Twitch decided to choose YouTube as their second place. Apparently, Pokimane will follow the same path, as she announced that her first YouTube broadcast will be on 1st February.

Pokimane has been streaming since around 2012. She created her official Twitch channel in 2014. Since then, she has been streaming and creating content with other fellow famous streamers. No wonder she has managed to amass over 9 million followers for her channel. On one of her podcasts, she mentioned that the new deals with Twitch couldn’t be as profitable as they were in the past. Moreover, she said that she only desires to have fun as a content creator. Exclusively streaming on Twitch has made her lose passion in the platform, and she wants to take her talents to a new place.
