Following yesterday’s reveal of the long-awaited Camellya, the second new character joining the playable roster of Wuthering Waves in Version 1.4 has been revealed through a new batch of drip marketing. That character is Lumi, a cute new female character who works as a navigator for Lollo Logistics.
When it comes to Lumi’s element, she will most likely be a new Electro character. From her full-body wetsuit to the large pieces of metal scattered around her body and especially her more animalistic features (her glowing hamster ears and large lightbulb tail), a lot of her design elements scream Electro. As for her weapon choice, she could be anything but we have yet to get a new Gun character, 4-star or 5-star.
Like Version 1.3’s Youhu, Lumi is a 4-star Resonator as opposed to a 5-star one. This means that Lumi will join the standard pool of characters once the Version 1.4 update ends, giving all players a chance to pull her whenever they summon in Wuthering Waves from Version 1.5 and onwards.

Lumi works as a navigator for Lollo Logistics, the hardworking delivery company whose couriers can be found all across the land making deliveries to wherever they are needed, no matter how inhospitable said locations may be. Interestingly, it seems that Lumi has been mentioned in the lore for a while now as the Lo, Lo, Lollo Logistics! Key Item mentions “Ms. Dengdeng” as a source of great knowledge about Huanglong, giving some insight into our newest 4-star’s personality.
Drip marketing is a term almost exclusively used to refer to gacha game promotional and marketing material. These promotional images are released prior to a unit’s official reveal and are used to build hype for the next version, allowing players to save their premium currency if one of the new units catches their eye. Wuthering Waves, like many modern gacha games, reveals their next slate of characters up to a full version before they are released in game.
Wuthering Waves Version 1.4, which will feature Camellya and Lumi as new rate-up characters, will begin sometime in November.
