Leaked footage of Sonic Toys Party, a mobile Sonic the Hedgehog-themed battle royale game in the same vein as Fall Guys, has surfaced, giving Sonic fans a surprise look at a game that was only announced a few months ago.
The brief trailer, which is only about a minute long, shows leaked footage of the Japanese version of the game and showcases gameplay, game modes, and which characters will be featured in the game.
According to the leaked footage of Sonic Toys Party will include fan favorites such as Sonic, Shadow, Metal Sonic, Eggman, Amy, Tails, and Knuckles as playable characters while the game will have a premium battle pass and at least two modes: Ring Competition and Survival.
In January, an industry insider, user @MbKKssTBhz5, known for leaking information about various Atlus games, made a post on the social media platform X saying that a new mobile Sonic spin-off with gameplay elements similar to the 2020 hit survival battle royale game Falls Guys is in the works.
This year, a new Sonic spin-off title will be released for mobile. The gameplay elements will be similar to Fall Guys.

Furthermore, according to @MbKKssTBhz5, Sonic Toys Party is slated to be released sometime during the start of the summer and is not being developed by Rovio, a Finnish game developer purchased by Sega in 2023.
The Sonic Fall Guys title will release at the start of summer. None of the titles I have discussed are in development by Rovio, but various collaborations with Rovio are planned in the future.
The insider also reveals some information about other upcoming Sonic spin-offs, such as Sonic Chao, which will be exclusive to streaming giant Netflix, and Sonic Sports, which will be for the Apple Arcade.
Last week, Rovio and Sega announced a collaboration event between the Sonic the Hedgehog and Angry Birds franchises that spanned across numerous mobile games.
