Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis Launches Weeks-Long Mobile EventSquare Enix is announcing a weeks-long mobile event for free-to-play action RPG Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis that features a staggering 200% EXP boost for Zack and Sephiroth.

In a new press release, the gaming giant says that Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis’ Limit Break campaign will last for seven weeks from March 20th to April 3rd and will give players access to rare limited-time weapons, like the Sephiroth-exclusive weapon, Protector’s Blade and the Stream Guard, a weapon unique to Zack.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis was launched on September 7th, 2023 for Android and the iOS and retells the entire saga of Final Fantasy VII from the original to the movie sequel, Advent Children, as well as the spin-off video games Crisis Core, Before Crisis, and Dirge of Cerberus.

Ever Crisis even brings back random battles and utilizes a slightly revamped version of the ATB system. By November, Ever Crisis had 7.7 million downloads, according to a post by Square Enix on the social media platform X.

The gacha game also expands on Sephiroth’s background and introduces three new characters to the mix. Furthermore, the mobile game offers the unique feature of being able to select characters from a timeline, allowing gamers to jump around the storyline.

Earlier this week, Square Enix released an update for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth that enhanced its graphics and frame rate, fixed common bugs and glitches players were encountering, added “sharp” and “soft” settings to the screen output settings menu and added more difficulties to select mini-games.
