Bungie has announced that there will be a new crossover between Destiny 2 and Bioware’s famed sci-fi series Mass Effect shortly.

In a new post from the official Destiny 2 account on Twitter (now X), Bungie confirmed that several brand new cosmetics are going to Destiny 2. The highlight items are three new armour sets all based on iconic Mass Effect characters: Titans get to don the classic N7 Armour in tribute to Commander Shepard, Hunters are rocking a look based on series heartthrob Garrus Vakarian, and Warlocks receive some sleek new threads inspired by Liara T’Soni.

In addition to the new armour sets (which will be Everse exclusive), the Destiny 2 Twitter account confirmed that several free Mass Effect themed cosmetics will be given to all Guardians for free as part of the Alliance Requisition Bundle. These items include the Enhanced Defence Ghost Shell, the Alliance Scout Frigate Ship, and the Alliance Drop Ship Sparrow. Of the three, the most exciting is the new Exotic Ship which looks remarkably like Mass Effect’s Normandy, the ship piloted by Joker in the first three games.

This isn’t Destiny 2’s first rodeo when it comes to crossovers in Eververse. Previously in Season of the Wish, Bungie collaborated with CD Projekt Red to bring armour sets and cosmetics based on The Witcher to the game. Other titles Destiny crossovers include several Sony properties like God of War and Ghost of Tsushima, Fortnite, Fall Guys and even an announced Arknights collab (which has yet to come to fruition in either game).

Aside from purchasing the Fortnite armour for Bright Dust, this is the first time that collab items from the event have been available for free for all players. As for the armour sets, crossover Eververse Ornament sets usually cost about 2000 Silver (about £15 or $20) meaning that it will cost roughly 6000 Silver for all three themed outfits.

The Destiny 2 x Mass Effect crossover cosmetics, including the free Alliance Requisition Bundle, will go live in Destiny 2 on February 12th
