The Sims franchise has always been about life and death. And the circle of life is central to the game playing in The Sims 4, but there are ways your Sims never have to face the death part and can avoid meeting the Grim Reaper. Cheats are placed throughout the game for you to take advantage of, so your Sims have a longer lifespan—a part of The Sims 4 that is unrealistic and enjoyed by players.
The Sims have many ways to cheat death, as aging can be adjusted or even turned off altogether in The Sims 4. You can also let your Sims live longer by earning specific aspirations in the game, like the Bodybuilder aspiration. And different potions and perks through the occult can be used through the game by your Sims, helping them avoid death.
A Potion of Youth
The easy and oldest way of living forever in The Sims 4 is the “Potion of Youth.” It’s such an easy method because it can be purchased as a satisfaction reward. However, The Sims 4‘s Potion of Youth costs 1,500 aspiration points. Your Sim will have to save up points to afford living forever in the game. Satisfaction points can be earned by competing aspirations and your Sim’s wants and fears.

Age-Away Serum
In The Sims 4: Get to Work Expansion Pack, Sims in the Scientist career can create an Age-Away serum like the “Potion of Youth,” reducing a Sim’s age. Sims with the Scientist career in The Sims 4: Get to Work can create Age-Away serums due to 20 scientific breakthroughs and leveling up the Scientist career. The serum is made in the chemistry lab with Quill Fruit, Xenopetrium, and 2 Alien Crystals. The easiest way to have a breakthrough is by working on tasks at work or doing experiments at the chemistry lab.
Book of Life
Being a writer in The Sims 4 has some significant perks. If you achieve the Bestselling Author aspiration and get the “Poetic” Reward Trait, you get by following the aspiration and reaching level 10 of the Writing skill. When your Sim gets the reward trait, they can compose a “Book of Life” on the computer. The Sim can make the “Epic Saga” their own life or another Sim’s life. If the Sim whose Epic Saga in the Book of Life dies, the book can be used to bring them back to life. A living Sim in your household can take the book and bring them back as a ghost. Add the ghost to the household, where they can be resurrected to life simply by reading their Epic Saga.

Evil Chicken
The Evil Chicken is an entertaining animal that comes from The Sims 4 Cottage Living Expansion Pack. If the Sim dies, Your Sim will float into the air, glow, then return. The Grim Reaper will be attacked by the evil black chicken with glowing red eyes in the chicken coop, stopping The Grim Reaper from taking the Sim’s soul. To get an evil chicken, you need to hatch an obsidian egg, an evil Chick that will grow up to become your Sim’s guardian from death. If you feed your chickens a Midnight Treat, they will become Evil Chickens.
Cowplant Essence
The Cowplant is a Sims 4 staple that has been a fan favorite to play with since the game first came out. The Cowplant offers the “Essence of Life,” which gives Sims a long life. Made by Sims eaten by a Cowplant, the cowplant produces milk, giving your Sim longer life. Growing the cowplant will take a couple of days and requires three stages. You don’t need a certain Gardening level to grow the cowplant. Your Sim can interact with the plant after it’s fully grown, like “Eat the Cake.” If your Sim eats the cake, the Cowplant will either spit out the Sim or consume them, and they die. Sims that die by the Cowplant will leave an “Essence of Life,” which adds the lifespan of the Sim that dead to those who drink it. If you don’t feed the cowplant after 24 hours, the plant will die.

Befriending the Mother Plant
Those who own The Sims 4: Strangerville Game Pack will be familiar with the Mother Plant monster hidden in Strangerville’s mystery. If you try multiple times, your Sim can strike up a friendship with the plant. The Mother Plant will provide a daily fruit that extends your Sim’s lifespan. The more fruit requests your Sim makes, the longer its life will be. The fruits are one of the hidden details of the game that typically only die-hard Sims fans know. You must defeat the mother plant before your Sim can have the fruit.
Becoming a Vampire
Another way for your Sim to live forever is by letting a vampire turn them. To become a vampire, the Sim needs to gain a relationship with a vampire Sim that can unlock an opportunity for immortality. When your relationship level is high enough, your Sim can select the social interaction “Ask to Turn” for the vampire to bite your Sim for them to change. After your Sim has entirely changed, they will not have an average lifespan. However, they can still die if they go out in the sun for a long time. Just make sure to watch the weather, or try to go out only at night.

Becoming a Spellcaster
In The Sims 4: Realm of Magic, spellcasters aren’t immortal. Spellcaster Sims can become immortal thought through the potion of immortality. Only spellcaster Sims can brew a potion of immortality. To make this potion, your Sim first needs to become a Spellcaster which can be gifted to them by one of the three Sages. Your Sim must travel to the hidden Magic Realm to meet the Sages. Once you get to the Magic Realm, talk to a Sage, and they will have your Sim go and collect seven Motes around the realm. Second, you need to collect a Mandrake, Sage, Morcubus, and Diamond. Most of these ingredients you can find at the shops in the realm. You can also bring someone back to life as a spellcaster, and your Sim needs to level up in Untamed Magic, where they can learn to cast Dedeathify.
Immortal Wolf
The Sims 4: Werewolves Pack offers a way to become immortal through the werewolf. “Immortal Wolf” allows the werewolf never to die or age, which includes being killed. It is only available to werewolves who attain the Apex rank and possess the Immortal Wolf ability. Requires the Natural Healing ability to be unlocked. To become a werewolf, you need to be bitten by one and have a “Painful Bite,” which takes a couple of days.
Flower Arranging
The power of flowers can save you in The Sims 4. You can begin your eternal life when your Sim levels up to level 10 in Flower Arranging. The Sims 4 Seasons Expansion Pack has long been considered necessary for gameplay. However, many Sim 4 players are unaware that the pack can even give your Sim immortality. It is unlockable by reaching level 10 in the Flower Arranging skill included in the pack. Your Sim needs to make an “excellent” flower arrangement, and they need to add an orchid scent to it. After inhaling the life essence, a Sim will live an additional day.
The Wishing Well
Many Sims 4 gamers may be unaware of the excellent use of the wishing well. The well is included in The Sims 4 Romantic Garden Stuff Pack. It has several powerful effects that often go unused. Sims can wish for youth. Also if a ghost Sim wishes to return to a living state, they will be reborn. The well is tricky, but if it feels generous, you can get your Sim’s life back, and make a pact with Grim Reaper, making you immortal. Your Sim may be cursed despite your best efforts, leading to hilarious and sometimes disastrous results. Your Sim may even be rejected or brought back to life, only to die again if it is cursed.

Ambrosia
If you have a Sim that dies that you wish would live forever, there is a way for them to come back to life with ambrosia. The recipe for ambrosia needs to be made by another Sim in the household. To do this, they must learn to make ambrosia. This requires Cooking and Gourmet Cooking skills at level 10, and Gardening skills must be at least level 5. Cooking the ambrosia needs the death flowers and angelfish. To get the death flower, your Sim needs to graft a lily with a snapdragon to produce an Orchid and then graft an apple with a cherry to produce a pomegranate, and finally graft the Orchid with the pomegranate to produce the death flower. The anglerfish can only be caught at level 7 of Fishing. After that, you can give it to a ghost to eat and return them to the living.
