Not only do they come with tons of new gameplay and content, they bring a whole bunch of new cheats for you to play with. Expansion Packs are the biggest DLC you can get in The Sims 4, and with these, you’ll get the most new cheats. It’s good to know what all the cheats are that you can find in the Expansions, and that’s what this guide is for.
The cheats you’ll find in these Expansion Packs are tailored to the new content that comes with them. These cheats can unlock perks and hidden traits, make life easier with careers and skills, and even tinker with relationships.

The Sims 4 base game is available to play for free on PC through Steam and the EA App, PlayStation consoles, and Xbox consoles. Expansion Packs typically cost $39.99 USD each.
A Quick Guide on Entering Cheats
The process of inputting cheats is discussed in detail in our The Sims 4 base game cheats guide. However, for your convenience, we’ll give you a quick tutorial on entering cheats and getting them to work.
You enter cheats into the cheat console. You open this up by pressing Ctrl + Shift + C on PC and Mac, LT + RT + LB + RB on Xbox consoles, and L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 on PlayStation. The box will appear in the top left of your screen. You simply type the cheat you want to enter here. You can enter as many cheats as you wish. To make the cheat console disappear, press the same buttons you used to open it up. You can bring it back up again any time you like.
The majority of cheats in The Sims 4 requires one important input before you can enter them. This command is testingcheats true. It enables cheats so they work. All the cheats in this guide requires this command before you can use them. Make sure you have testingcheats true entered every time you load your game or want to use any of these cheats.
There should be a note of caution with cheats. While they can be very useful, you must also be aware that they may potentially cause problems with your game. It’s generally wise to save your game before you enter any new cheats. It’s also a good idea to try out an unfamiliar cheat on a tester Sim or Lot first.
Get to Work
The very first Expansion for The Sims 4 introduced active careers and being able to run your own business.

Get Together
The Sims 4 Get Together gets your Sims together thanks to a new club system. In clubs, you can unlock perks just like retail businesses in Get to Work, unlocking new objects, CAS (Create-A-Sim) items, and other benefits. Unfortunately, there are no official cheats for the club system in Get Together. You can get them thanks to a mod though, so if you really want to use cheats to unlock club perks, you should check that out. Otherwise, the only new cheats with Get Together are skill cheats.

The Sims 4 Get Together adds 2 new skills to the game: Dancing and DJ Mixing.

There are 2 new skills in Cats & Dogs: Pet Training and the Veterinarian skill.

If you want to add weather to your game, then you need The Sims 4 Seasons Expansion. Since this pack is all about the seasons, there are cheats that allow you to control them. You can’t specifically control the weather though, not without certain mods.

Seasons has 2 new careers, one full-time (Gardener) and the other an afterschool activity for children and teens (Scout).

Note: To turn a ghost back into a living Sim, replace equip with remove in the cheat.

In The Sims 4, you cannot control the seasons like in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3. Thanks to cheats, there are 2 things you can do to control seasons: you can change the current season, and you can set the length of the season.

Becoming a celebrity has a lot of benefits in The Sims 4 Get Famous. You can unlock perks by levelling up as a celebrity – or you can just use cheats.

Being a celebrity is not all plain sailing. Normally, your Sim gains quirks by doing certain interactions or are triggered by Moods. You could just use cheats though. If you’re going to use these cheats on your Sim, be aware that these quirks are designed to make your Sim’s life a little more difficult, unless you want a challenge.

Degree Cheats
At university, your Sims can get degrees in many different fields. Depending on how well they do, they will receive a different degree when they graduate. The following cheats can be used if you want to gift your Sim a degree without going through university.

N.A.P. (Neighborhood Action Plan) Cheats
The Neighborhood Action Plan, more commonly known as N.A.P., plays an important role in your Sim’s community. N.A.P. can influence how your Sims interact, and can even affect things like their careers, skills and bills. There are some useful shortcut cheats that you should know.
If you want to enact or repeal a N.A.P. but don’t want to go through the voting system, simply shift-click on either a mailbox or the voting board and select the option Instant Enact or Instant Repeal. This brings up a menu with all the N.A.P.s. To repeal a Plan, you must first have at least one active. You also cannot Enact a N.A.P. if you have the maximum of 5 active already.
Another useful cheat linked to N.A.P. is one that gifts you free influence points, used towards voting for N.A.P.s. Again, shift-click either the mailbox or voting board and select Give Influence. You get 15 points every time you select this option, and there’s no way to change the amount.
Neighborhood Action Plans affect you and other Sims. Choose them wisely!
Add Bits and Pieces Cheat
If you’re a keen Fabricator in Eco Lifestyle, you’ll need a lot of bits and pieces. They’re not always easy to come by, and you may urgently want some, so here’s a useful cheat. Shift-click on the fabrication machine and select Give Bits and Pieces. You’ll get 50 each time you use this.
Change Community Space Cheat
One of the great things about Eco Lifestyle is being able to create a community space. You’d normally have to vote on this, but this cheat bypasses that and guarantee that you get what you want. Simply shift-click on the voting board and select Enact Community Space Project, then you’ll be given the 3 different community spaces you can put in.
Snowy Escape
There’s nothing like a good Snowy Escape, which is what this Sims 4 Expansion is about.
Career Cheats
There’s just one new career in Snowy Escape, and that’s the Salary Person career.

Their Need decay slows down while working, and they get better performance at work. They do struggle to keep long-term relationships though. Lifestyles are normally gained by your Sim’s actions and behavior, or you can use cheats to choose them yourself.

Skill Cheats
Cottage Living has just one new skill: Cross Stitching.
If you want to unlock all the patterns you’d normally get as gifts from wild animals or by completing errands, simply shift-click on the cross-stitch ring to bring up the unlock option.

If you shift-click on chickens, cows and llamas, you’ll see a whole bunch of hidden options. You can also shift-click on the animal shed and chicken coop for more options. If you shift-click on any fridge, you can get free animal treats.

Wild Animal Cheats
Just as with livestock animals, by shift-clicking on birds, foxes and rabbits, you’ll see some different options than the usual ones. Also, if you want to find some wild animals but are struggling to locate them out in the wilds of Henford-on-Bagley, simply shift-click the ground and select the option to spawn the desired animal.
High School Years
High School Years fleshes out teenagers in The Sims 4. You can follow your teens to school and help them enjoy their teenage years.

Teens can join afterschool clubs to enhance their skills and meet other Sims.

It’s a bit of a mouthful, but by adding the following commands to the end of this command, you’ll unlock the sentiments below.
