The Complex, Wales Interactive’s latest interactive cinematic experience, features an engrossing story with an engaging cast of characters. Revolving around Amy Tenent, a scientist developing nanocell technology in London, the story quickly evolves into one of high stakes and ample tension. While your first playthrough of the game is likely to be the most memorable, The Complex actually has 8 different endings to work towards, with an additional ninth ending near the beginning of the game. Each ending has different implications for the futures of the game’s characters. They are each worth viewing to experience The Complex to its fullest.

Some choices in The Complex have very little influence on which ending you reach in a single playthrough. Others, though, are steep in consequence. Additionally, certain endings require you to be on good footing with a character. For this to be the case, your relationship standing with them has to be at 50% or higher. The flowchart below will show you exactly what needs to be done to reach each ending in The Complex.

The Deadly Secret ending is easy to achieve. To do so, choose to take the ambulance rather than the drone to the Complex. Doing this will net you this secret – and rather unfortunate – ending. Do note that this ending is only playable after you’ve seen a different ending first. If you choose the ambulance in your first run, Deadly Secret will not trigger. The rest of The Complex‘s endings are somewhat more… complex. You can follow the paths above to achieve them easily.
While choices not listed in the guide are not essential, bear in mind that they may affect a character’s disposition toward you. Depending on which ending you wish to view, it might be better to be rude to one person your first time through, and kind to them in your second. If you make the wrong choice at any point, don’t worry. After your first playthrough, a fast-forward feature is unlocked. This makes it easy to speed through the game and see any ending you wish in The Complex.
