In Once Human, while exploring the southeastern part of the Dayton Wetlands region, you may encounter an early-stage quest called A Miracle Chase Quest. Completing this quest is not an important part of the main story, but doing so can provide you with valuable rewards to help upgrade your materials and enhance your gameplay experience.
Most of the quests in Once Human involve traveling to new locations, battling challenging enemies, and confronting bosses. However, the Miracle Chase Quest stands out as it demands more than just combat and task completion. While locating the quest itself might be straightforward, finding and opening the Miracle Chase chest can be quite challenging.
How to Start A Miracle Chase Quest
In Once Human, optional quests are scattered around the map and are visible as blue markers. You can unlock the Miracle Chase Quest after finishing the Divine Property quest, which directs you to the Mola Island Visitor Centre in Once Human. There, you’ll find an NPC named the Pilgrim near the cliff’s edge, where he is praying. Speak to him to proceed.
Talking with the Pilgrim
The Pilgrim will mention a hidden miracle in the cove, starting the A Miracle Chase quest. However, you can only begin this quest at this location during nighttime. Check the top right of your screen, above the mini-map, to see the time. Make sure you’re there when the moon rises, which is around 8:00 PM in the game. If you have arrived at the quest location during the day, you can spend the time exploring, completing other quests, or collecting resources until nighttime.
How to Complete A Miracle Chase Quest
Once it’s nighttime, follow the blue quest marker on your map to the beach on the eastern side of the Dayton Wetlands. Explore the small beach area to find the Divine Strange Statue hidden among the palm trees and bushes. While you are at the beach, you’ll notice that walking toward the quest marker brings you into a force field. This creates a PVE zone, ensuring that no one can attack you while you complete the quest.
Pleading the Statue
After you find the statue, you’ll also come across a Miracle Chest right behind it. To complete the quest, you need to unlock this chest and claim your rewards. First, interact with the statue, which will tell you to pray. Stand in front of the statue and hold the X key to choose the “Plead” emote from your emote wheel. You can locate this emote in your inventory under the Cosmetics tab and add it to your emote wheel.
Rewards
After performing the Plead emote, the statue will give you a key. Use this key to unlock the chest. Once you’ve unlocked the chest and collected the rewards, your quest will be complete.
