Under the Umbrella’s Shade Location
Under The Umbrella’s Shade is one of the regional domains in Genshin Impact‘s Sumeru region. To find it, players may want to unlock the northeastern Statue of The Seven before traveling to make navigation a bit easier.
After that, you need to enter the Mawtiyima Forest area and make your way to the north. This forest area has tons of giant plants, and you can use them as a platform to swiftly head to the domain.

The Domain’s Area
Once you drop down from the giant plants, proceed on the forest trails until you find the domain’s area in the northeastern part of Mawtiyima Forest.
There are several notable parts here, with the main functions being the Dendrogana and the 5 Dendro Totems.

The Dendrogana is a new feature unique to Sumeru (just like Inazuma’s Electrogana) but with different functionality. It allows bow users’ aimed attacks to have Dendro follow-up attacks, up to 3 beams.
You can find the Dendrogana near the steps where the domain is located. Make sure to have at least one bow user in your lineup before starting the puzzle sequences. Grab the Dendrogana to start.

Lighting Up The Dendro Totems
As it is mentioned before, 5 Dendro Totems need to be lit up in a certain order. In each Totem, there will be a unique mark etched under them. These markings will be crucial in knowing the order. Fortunately, the first in the sequence is already lit, like the image below.

Light up the first Totem with an aimed bow attack. One of Dendrogana’s beams will follow up the attack and ignite the Dendro Totem. Once you see it activated, find the second Totem, which is right across from the first one. Again, ignite it just like the first Totem.
The third one has a structure that needs a Dendro reaction to shatter it. You need to strike it with an aimed bow attack so that the third Totem will be freed. By this point, your Dendrogana beams will run out, so return to the Dendrogana first.
Return to the third Totem’s position and ignite it. The next in line will be revealed, which is the Totem next to it. Attack it with another aimed bow attack.
The last Totem is the one that is closest to your first entry, and it’s the one between the first and second Totem. Ignite the last one, and Under the Umbrella’s Shade Domain door will rise in a small cutscene.
