To commemorate the impending release of Ultimate Freyna in The First Descendant, which will be exactly on October 10, alongside the new Colossus and Death Stalker, among other updates, the developers have launched a new web event called Freyna’s Encrypted Vault Shop. This guide will help you safely navigate through the web event, from how to enter with either a Nexon account or Guest Login through Steam ID, PlayStation, and Xbox accounts, while also giving you some recommendations on what rewards you should prioritize first. Let’s begin.
Nexon released The First Descendant on July 2, 2024, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and recently launched the Season 1 Invasion Update on August 29, 2024.

What is Freyna’s Encrypted Vault Shop Event?
Freyna’s Encrypted Vault Shop Event for The First Descendant is a web event that the developers provide to the players by giving them a way to get some nice bonuses by doing Daily and Weekly Missions, which lasts from September 26, 2024, 00:00 (Thu) until October 30, 2024 (Wed) 23:59 (PDT).
Players can complete Daily Missions, which range from completing Research, fighting at least 2 Void Intercept Boss Battles, and challenging 4 Infiltration Missions. Meanwhile, the Weekly Missions can be more challenging to finish, as they require you to either clear some Missions on Hard difficulty or fight a particular Void Intercept Boss. However, these Daily and Weekly Missions are fairly simple and you can get them all, as long as you play the game each day for 15 to 20 minutes.
Each Daily Mission nets you 1 Point, while the Weekly Missions provide you 10 Points each, meaning that you should focus more on getting those juicy missions while also tackling the Daily challenges.
The Encrypted Vault Shop closes during maintenance periods, and you’ll receive points about 5 minutes after completing daily and weekly missions. To refresh the event page, simply click “View Mission Achievements.” Additionally, you can earn points by completing the previous week’s weekly missions throughout the event. Keep in mind, that points are only available until 23:59 PDT on October 30, 2024 (Wednesday), but you can still use the shop until 23:59 PST on November 6, 2024. After that, you won’t be able to exchange items anymore.
Once you exchange points for items, you won’t be able to swap or refund them. Typically, the items will arrive in your in-game mailbox within about 10 minutes. If you don’t see them right away, try reconnecting or moving to a different zone to refresh your mailbox.
How to Safely Login to the Event
Before you can enter the web event, which is accessible from Freyna’s Encrypted Vault Shop link, you must log in using either your Nexon account or the platform account that you are currently using. For example, I’m using my Nexon account for The First Descendant, therefore that method is my go-to for entering the web event.
If you already have a Nexon account that is linked to your platform (Steam, Xbox, or PlayStation Network), then here are the steps to log in to the event:
- Go to the web event page, which is accessible through the link above. From there, the website prompts you to either Log In or Create an Account within the Nexon verification method. If you already have a linked Nexon account, then simply enter your associated email and click continue.
- If you are using Gmail, Facebook, Apple, or X accounts, then you can choose one of them from the interface, which will take you to a different login screen. Follow the same procedure as when you use a Nexon account and click Continue.
- Nexon might require you to verify your account through email, so check for the Verification Code that they send to you and input them into the command box. Once you manage to do so, everything should checks out and you’ll be able to participate in Freyna’s Encrypted Vault Shop Event.
If you still have an unlinked Nexon account, then you can follow the steps that are available to see from the official The First Descendant website, which we will provide the important information necessary to link your current platform’s account to Nexon below. Lastly, keep in mind that linking your account to Nexon will NOT delete your progress.
What to Buy in Freyna’s Encrypted Vault Shop Event?
Now that we understand how to log in and navigate through the web event, it’s time to select the best rewards that you can earn through Freyna’s Encrypted Vault Shop.
- Crystallization Catalyst: The first and foremost major reward that you should go for is the Crystallization Catalyst. Each costs you 40 Points, and you can exchange them 3 times, so you can only get them after completing many Daily and Weekly Missions. The major reason for picking this reward is how difficult they are to get regularly, as you need to rely on your luck since Crystallization Catalyst Blueprints only have a 20% chance of dropping from a particular Amorphous Material that contains them.
- Weapon Materials: The next items that should be in your basket are the Weapon Materials. Each of the materials will cost you 20 Points, and you can exchange each weapon part twice, making it a total of 8 claimable Weapon Materials. The major reason to get this is due to how some early Ultimate Weapons, like the Thunder Cage or Fallen Hope, are locked behind the Normal Missions’ tedious mechanics, which can be ‘cheated’ by claiming their parts on Freyna’s Encrypted Vault Shop Event.
- Code Breakers: The last great reward to claim here is the Code Breakers, which are important resources to open Encrypted Vaults in The First Descendant. Their prices range from 4 Points for each Ultra-Precision Code Breaker, 2 Points for each Precision Code Breaker, and 1 Point for a Code Breaker. The reason why you should take these items is that, just like Crystallization Catalyst, they are rare commodities that depend on your luck and the External Component’s Drop Rate boost.
And that’s everything you need to know for The First Descendant‘s Freyna’s Encrypted Vault Shop web event.
