Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.0 | All Lordly Trashcan Locations in Penacony (Ramesrash II Guide)

As a world of dreams and festivities, Honkai: Star Rail’s latest new planet, Penacony, is a place of the fanciful and the bizarre. Whether it’s the walking-talking sign boards who follow after you like a lost puppy, the giant gachapon machines hoping to take away your precious few tokens, the mind-bending spaces within the edges of the Dreamscape or any manner of other strange encounters, Penacony is Star Rail’s wildest ride yet (and that’s saying something). However, nothing is more odd than the Lordly Trashcans.

The Lordly Trashcans are a new type of treasure alongside treasure chests and Warp Trotters. As the name suggests, these sentient piles of rubbish are scattered across Penacony’s Dreamscape and formed from the Trailblazer’s unique love of trash and garbage. And, just like the chests and Warp Trotters, encountering these weird little dudes will shower you in Stellar Jade, making finding them a high priority when exploring Penacony.

Here’s where to find all of the Lordly Trashcans in Honkai: Star Rail. This includes all of the Lordly Trashcans within Penacony’s first few areas, including Golden Hour, Dream’s Edge, A Child’s Dream and The Reverie (Dreamscape).

What Are Lordly Trashcans in Honkai Star Rail?

First things first, let’s quickly go over how to identify the Lordly Trashcans as well as what makes them truly strange. As we previously mentioned, Lordly Trashcans are considered a new type of Treasure item, just like Warp Trotters and treasure chests, meaning that you need to find them if you want to get 100% treasure in each of Penacony’s four main areas. This also means that the rewards offered by each Trashcan can only be acquired once

The Lordly Trashcans themselves are found in various parts of Penacony’s explorable zones – Golden Hour, Dream’s Edge, A Child’s Dream and The Reverie (Dreamscape) – where they’ll be disguised as ordinary rubbish bins. Only once you approach them will their true identity be revealed.

Each of the eight Lordly Trashcans currently in the game has their own personality, as well as a set of questions or riddles they’ll ask you corresponding to said personality. If you choose the right responses or favour the worldview of that Trashcan, they’ll give you the rewards without any hassle: say the wrong thing, though, and they’ll attack, taking you into combat where you must defeat them to earn those same rewards

The Trashcan Mimics

The Trashcan Mimics

In battle, Lordly Trashcans are extremely dangerous, capable of easily taking out even the toughest party members in a single hit. With each turn, the Lordly Trashcan will attack one of your teammates and then buff its own ATK stat, allowing it to sweep through your team. Their main gimmick is that they don’t have a Weakness until you attack them, which will implant the element of the attacking unit as a Weakness. Break the Lordly Trashcan’s Toughness Bar and they’ll consider the challenge complete, wandering off into the unknown.

No matter how you overcome a Lordly Trashcan’s trial, they will give you 60 Stellar Jade per completion, totalling over 480 Stellar Jade if you find all eight sprinkled around Penacony. There’s also the Ramerash II Achievement, which gives you an additional 5 Jade for finding all 8 Trashcans within the Golden Hour, Dream’s Edge, A Child’s Dream and The Reverie (Dreamscape) making this an excellent source of easy pulls for Black Swan, Sparkle, Aventurine or any other upcoming Penacony character.

All Lordly Trashcan Locations in Golden Hour

Golden Hour Trashcan 1

The first location we’ll be scouting for Lordly Trashcans is the Golden Hour, Penacony’s premier party and nightlife area. With so many bustling areas full of vibrancy and life, there are obviously several Lordly Trashcans hiding about to spice things up even further.

To find the first Trashcan, start your search at The Reverie Hotel Entrance Space Anchor. Once you’re there, step out onto the main road and begin heading left (or west on the main map) towards the Hanu’s Adventure transformation point nearby. Just before you reach the magical morphin’ TV, you’ll find the first Trashcan sitting idly by the edge of the railing.

This is the Jack Traschan, the king of all trashcans. At least, that’s what you should tell it to avoid a direct confrontation. When prompted, ask Jack Traschan if it is indeed the King of Trashcans, before responding to its follow-up question (which is about its body) with “You look majestic and formidable.” This will please the Trashcan, awarding you 60 easy Stellar Jade without having to make an enemy of the King.

Golden Hour Trashcan 2

For the second Golden Hour Lordly Trashcan in Honkai Star Rail, head to the Clockie Statue. After arriving before Penacony’s cartoony deity, make your way behind the statue and then take a right towards the Oti Mall.

After ascending the twin set of steps past the large Vegas-esque signpost, keep an eye out on the left side of the path. Eventually, you should soon see the next Trashcan waiting patiently next to a bench. There will also be an NPC by the name of Uma nearby if you need some extra guidance.

This is the Bucket of Fortune, a Lordly Trashcan obsessed with wealth and getting as rich as possible as quickly as possible. The challenge for this Trashcan involves giving it a way to efficiently make money and your available options are to tell it to stay dedicated to its current job, to invent and create new ideas and patents, or to wait for a windfall.

The Bucket of Fortune will be most unkind if you tell it to invent something, as it is not creative or intelligent enough to do so, and it will be similarly displeased if you tell it to keep working its current job. As such, tell it to wait for a windfall. Remember, though, failing at a question doesn’t mean that you won’t get the rewards: you’ll just need to beat the Stellar Jade out of them, instead.

All Lordly Trashcan Locations in Dream’s Edge

Dream’s Edge Trashcan 1

Moving onto Penacony’s next location, we the Dream’s Edge, the area of Golden Time still under construction and renovation by The Family’s Dreamweavers. Despite the much calmer atmosphere, there are two Lordly Trashcans hidden throughout the illusionary walls and rooftops of the Dream’s Edge.

The first of these Trashcans can be found very close to the Dream’s Edge entrance. Starting at The Family’s Construction Authority Space Anchor, take a right past the Verdant Manager and keep following that path until you the previously locked gate with a member of the Family outside. Head Hound Guard Woolsey will also be in this location.

The first Lordly Trashcan itself is sitting right next to the edge of this building, near one of the Dream’s Eye illusionary devices. This area is, at first, locked off to you until you complete your first outing here with Firefly as part of the main Penacony Trailblaze Story.

This Trashcan is the Riddler Trashcan. In total, it will ask you three riddles, all of which have a variety of different answers, and it will attack you if you get one wrong. However, if you look at each list, there is one standout answer amongst each set: for all three riddles, the answer has something to do with trash or garbage, whether it be a trash bag, a garbage bin lid, or some other type of rubbish.

Successfully clear all of the Riddler’s trash-based puzzles and it will walk away satisfied, awarding you with 60 hard-earned Stellar Jade.

Dream’s Edge Trashcan 2

The next Lordly Trashcan in Dream’s Edge can be found a little ways further in. To be more specific, it’s closest to the Rooftop Garden Space Anchor. After touching down, turn around and use the nearby Dream’s Eye to return to the taller building behind the Gardens.

Once you’re on that rooftop, descend the nearby stairs and then enter the empty courtyard with two fancy cars parked outside. There should also be several balloons close to these cars which, if you destroy them, will reveal the second Lordly Trashcan in Dream’s Edge

Fitting the area’s theme, this is the Dreamweaver’s Bucket, a Trashcan who longs for something more in this space. At first, it will ask you what you should add to this rooftop so that it doesn’t feel so empty and, in response, you should tell it that the area needs more trashcans. After accepting your wonderful proposal, the Dreamweaver’s Bucket will then go on to ask what should be added to the sky. Without a bin-based response to go off, you should answer that the area needs some more snow

With the Lordly Trashcan’s curiosity and creativity satiated, it will disappear into the night, leaving behind 60 Stellar Jade and a bountiful number of other goodies.

All Lordly Trashcan Locations in A Child’s Dream

A Child’s Dream Trashcan 1

A Child’s Dream is the trippiest and most absurdist area in all of Honkai: Star Rail, with floating words and a constant looming sense of dread permeating its mishappen hallways and warped rooms. As a bit of bright humour in between the darkness, there are two more Lordly Trashcans to find in this area.

The first Trashcan is the most difficult to find, mainly because it’s inside of one of Penacony’s many twisted rooms. Begin your search at the Eddying Dreamscape Space Anchor and then make your way into the larger chamber to the north. Once you enter the room, head left and then cross the bridge to the other side before going right, making sure to grab some Dream Bubble Charges as you do. Then, use those Dream Charges to scale the wall on the far side of the room.

Now that you’re walking on the wall, make your way back towards the entrance of the room where you should spy another area where you can create a Dream Bridge. This will take you to a thin slice of the wall next to the fountain, one which happens to house the next Lordly Trashcan.

This Philosopher Trashcan is trying to decipher the meaning of life for a sentient trashcan such as itself. It will ask you that same question and, in response, you can tell it that its life’s purpose is to simply hold more trash, to become a gold trashcan or that its life is a meaningless one.

Surprisingly, if you respond with either of the first two options, it will grow bored and frustrated at your mundanity, attacking you in a fit of scorn. Instead, if you choose the far more depressing option – that the trashcan’s life is meaningless – it will be far more pleased with your bout of nihility, awarding you 60 Stellar Jade before trotting into nothingness.

A Child’s Dream Trashcan 2

Fortunately, the second Lordly Trashcan in A Child’s Dream is much simpler to find. Head to the Corridor of Memories Space Anchor and, once you arrive, head into the small room to the right of Boss Red’s Great Tree. This room is where one of the puzzle pieces you needed to find on your first visit was hidden and, now, it will be occupied by two enemies.

Defeat the enemies lurking in the halls and you’ll find the next Lordly Trashcan stuffed into the corner admiring the nearby fireplace.

This Low-Esteemed Trashcan is moping around, calling itself a basket case. It will also ask you if you, too, believe it is a basket case. Responding with yes will cause it to quickly grow insulted, lashing out in response. Instead, reassure it that it isn’t a basket case and then, when it asks what kind of value it has, tell it the truth that it is but a simple piece of trash

Somehow, that will bolster its resolve, causing it to walk away from your meeting with its head held high and its pockets 60 Stellar Jade lighter.

All Lordly Trashcan Locations in The Reverie (Dreamscape)

The Reverie (Dreamscape) Trashcan 1

The final area in Penacony in Honkai Star Rail Version 2.0 is The Reverie (Dreamscape), a version of the infamous and overwhelming Reverie Hotel that has been submerged within the Dreamscape. Currently, this is an off-limits area to the public and despite sharing a lot of layout similarities with the Reverie in reality, things are very different here. This, of course, includes a new batch of Lordly Trashcans.

The first is extremely easy to track down. Teleport to the Dreamscape Lobby Space Anchor next to Lady Vermillion’s Great Tree and then take the nearby elevator to the VIP floor, an area otherwise inaccessible. Once you arrive at this new floor, simply look to your left and the next Trashcan will be waiting for you.

Before you stands the Bad-Math Trashcan, a trashcan who is astounding terrible at mathetics. It will attempt to share its genius logic with you by revealing that 6 + 6 equals 66 and that 8 + 8 equals 88. Then, it will ask you what 7 + 7 equals and, depending on your answer, it will try to beat you up. Answer 14 or 7 and it will lash out but follow its internal logic and answer 77 and you’ll come out on top

However, the Bad-Math Trashcan has one final question: what is 1 + 1? Try and follow the Bad-Math Trashcan’s previous logic and answer with 11 and it will scoff at you because, as we all know, 1 + 1 always equals 2. Give it the answer it wants and it will wander away, happy in its obvious ignorance.

The Reverie (Dreamscape) Trashcan 2

To reach the final Lordly Trashcan in both The Reverie (Dreamscape) and Honkai Star Rail Version 2.0, you need to gain access to the Dreamjolt Hostelry, a hidden location to the north of the Reverie. You can access this empty bar using a set of elevators to the north of the Monitoring Room, upon which point you will unlock the Dreamjolt Hostelry Space Anchor.

Once you arrive at the Hostelry Space Anchor, head out the nearby door to your right into a long hallway. This will take you back to the dining hall you smashed your way through in the Trailblaze story but, if you keep watching the right side of the corridor, the last Lordly Trashcan will soon reveal itself.

This is the Martial Trashcan and unlike all the other Lordly Trashcans, it has no riddles or words to trade with you, only fists. The Martial Trashcan will instantly attack you, bringing you into battle where you must defeat it, as well as a second Lordly Trashcan. These enemies are tough on their own but they become much tougher in a duo, so expect to walk out of this encounter with at least one or two KO’d party members.

Manage to beat the Trashcans at their own game, though, and the last batch of 60 Stellar Jade will be yours to claim.
