Honkai: Star Rail Best Firefly Build Guide | Best Light Cones, Relics, TeamsWhile the Penacony story arc may be coming to a close in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3, it still has a few tricks left up its sleeve, including introducing a beloved fan-favourite character to the playable roster. That character is, of course, Firefly, the charming girl we met during our initial stay in the Golden Hour Dreamscape who was later revealed to the Stellaron Hunter SAM. As a vital part of the Penacony plot from all the way back in Version 2.0, many will rejoice at finally having the opportunity to add Firefly, and SAM, to their roster.

In combat, Firefly embodies both sides of her secretive persona. In the overworld, you will control Firefly, whereas in combat she will don the fiery mechanical battle armour of SAM, where she will become an insurmountable new Fire Destruction unit. As the second new 5-star built around Break Effect and with the ability to produce her own Super Break damage, Firefly is an interesting new unit that has incredible potential.

Here’s how to make the best Firefly build in Honkai: Star Rail. This guide will include an in-depth look at Firefly’s kit and Ascension materials, as well as what kind of Light Cones, Relics and team compositions you should be running to optimise your Firefly’s performance, no matter if you’re paid or F2P.

Firefly Release Date and Banner Availability

First and foremost, let’s begin by going over when Firefly’s Character Warp will go live and how long you’ll have to summon her in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3. Firefly’s initial banner run will begin when Version 2.3 releases as she’s heading up the first phase of the patch alongside Ruan Mei, who returns for her first rerun.

Firefly’s Character Event Warp, “Firefull Flyshine”, will begin on June 19th 2024 when Version 2.3 becomes available and will last until Phase 1 ends on July 3rd 2024. By pulling on Firefull Flyshine, any 5-star character you’re lucky enough to pull will have a 50% chance of being Firefly: if you lose the 50/50 and get a Standard Banner character (Welt, Himeko, Yanqing, etc.), the next 5-star you obtain is guaranteed to be Firefly. Furthermore, Gallagher, Misha, and Xueyi will all feature as rate-up 4 stars on Firefly and Ruan Mei’s banners.

If you don’t happen to get Firefly before Phase 2 of Version 2.3 begins on July 3rd (which is when Jade and Argenti will take over the Event Warp), you will have to wait until Firefly gets a rerun in a future version to pull her. When she will rerun is not set in stone but, in general, Star Rail units tend to rerun about 6 months after their initial release.

Firefly Materials

  • 15x Tatters of Thought / 15x Fragments of Impression / 15x Shards of Desire (Penacony Enemy Materials)
  • 65x Raging Heart (Destruction Stagnant Shadow Drop)
  • 308k Credits

The Tatters of Thought, Fragments of Impression, and Shards of Desire all drop from the Memory Zone Meme faction of enemies from Penacony. These creepy, distorted creatures are born from the negative energy of dreams and there are many different kinds of them for you to fight within the Dreamscape locations in Penacony.

Meanwhile, the Raging Heart is a new Stagnant Shadow Drop which has been introduced in Version 2.2. You’ll find its associated Stagnant Shadow – the Shape of Ire – in the Dewlight Pavilion where to claim a batch of Raging Hearts, you must defeat a Shell of Faded Rage. This T-Rex-themed Memory Zone Meme will take massively reduced damage until it is Weakness Broken, so make sure to bring your best Lightning, Quantum, or Imaginary units.

Lastly, outside of Ascension, Firefly will also need several other materials to level her Traces. Firstly, to unlock her Passive Traces and reach the upper levels of her main Traces, you’ll need to acquire Bosirin Teeth, Lupitoxin Sawteeth, and Moon Rage Fangs, new Destruction Trace Materials introduced in Version 2.0. Secondly, you’ll also need 12 Lost Echoes of the Sacred Star, the boss materials from the Sunday Weekly Boss Fight.

Honkai Star Rail Firefly Kit Overview

Order: Flare Propulsion (Basic ATK)

Order: Flare Propulsion is Firefly’s regular Basic ATK. This deals a minor amount of Fire DMG to a single target based on Firefly’s (SAM’s) ATK stat.

While in the Complete Combustion state, though, Order: Flare Propulsion becomes Fyrefly Type-IV: Pyrogenic Decimation, the Enhanced Basic ATK variant. This restores HP equal to 20% of Firefly’s Max HP and deals significant Fire DMG to a single enemy. Both variants of Firefly’s Basic ATK scaling are based on the level of the Basic ATK Trace.

Ordinarily, you’ll want to use Firefly’s Skill and Enhanced Skill over either of her Basic ATK options nine times out of ten: they simply deal more damage, heal more, or have more utility. However, the ability to quickly heal Firefly without needing to expend Skill Points is very useful. Otherwise, both of her Basic ATK options are very overshadowed by the might showcased in the rest of her kit.

Turn Up the Heat

Turn Up the Heat

Order: Aerial Bombardment (Skill)

Order: Aerial Bombardment, Firefly’s Skill, is where the heart of Firefly’s kit comes into focus. Aerial Bombardment consumes a portion of Firefly’s HP to regenerate a significant amount of Energy (roughly equal to 65% of her Ultimate). Additionally, it deals a significant amount of Fire DMG to a single target and Advances Firefly’s next Action by 25%.

Like with her Basic ATK, Firefly will have access to a new Enhanced Skill  Fyrefly Type-IV: Deathstar Overload – while in the Complete Combustion state and it acts like a foil to her regular Skill. It restores Firefly’s HP, implants Fire Weakness onto a single target for 2 turns, and deals Blast DMG to three targets based on Firefly’s Break Effect and ATK.

Both variants of Firefly’s Skill are vital to her overall play style. Her Skill is a great way to quickly and efficiently get Firefly back into the Complete Combustion state, while her Enhanced Skill guarantees that she’ll always be hitting a Fire Weak target for maximum effectiveness on her attacks. They each work hand-in-hand and being able to balance the two – especially with regards to the health drain – is vital for maximising Firefly’s performance.

Fyrefly Type-IV: Complete Combustion (Ultimate)

We’ve mentioned the Complete Combustion state a few times already but how do you actually enter it? Well, that’s where Firefly’s Ultimate, Fyrefly Type-IV: Complete Combustion, comes in. Using Firefly’s Ultimate causes her to enter the Complete Combustion state, advancing her Action forward by 100% and granting her access to her Enhanced Basic ATK and Enhanced Skill.

While in the Complete Combustion state, Firefly’s SPD is increased considerably, as if her Weakness Break efficiency and Break DMG. Once you trigger the Complete Combustion state, a countdown timer will appear on the Action Order on the side of the screen, forcing Firefly out of the Complete Combustion state once the timer’s turn starts. It has a default SPD of 70.

The majority of Firefly’s DMG is going to come while she’s in the Complete Combustion state. Between granting her access to her Enhanced attacks and increasing several vital stats like SPD and Weakness Break Efficiencies, Firefly’s Ultimate is arguably the most important part of her kit and well worth the investment. Your main goal in every battle is going to be getting Firefly into the Complete Combustion state as fast as possible.

Chrysalid Pyronexus (Talent)

Next up is Firefly’s Talent, Chrysalid Pyronexus, which has several key and potent effects. Firstly, the lower Firefly’s HP, the less DMG she receives, with the maximum DMG reduction kicking when Firefly reaches 20% of her Max HP or lower. This DMG reduction remains at its maximum effectiveness while Firefly is in the Complete Combustion state. Additionally, if her Energy is lower than 50% when the battle starts, she regenerates Energy to 50% and, once Energy reaches its maximum, dispels all debuffs from Firefly.

Firefly’s Talent is very multifaceted and primarily acts in service of keeping her alive: as a Destruction unit, she’ll be the main target in most combat scenarios, so having some damage mitigation is much appreciated. Aside from that, the ability to get more Energy back at the start of battle means that she can enter the Complete Combustion state almost immediately, allowing her to dish out high levels of damage from the jump.

Artificial Chrysalis

Artificial Chrysalis

Order: Meteoric Incineration (Technique)

Lastly, Firefly’s Technique is Order: Meteoric Incineration and it causes Firefly to enter SAM and leap into the air. During this time, she can move about freely for 5 seconds with increased movement. When the duration ends, or when you end it prematurely, Firefly unleashes a devastating plunging attack which strikes all enemies within a set area. At the start of each wave, this applies Fire Weakness to all enemies, lasting 2 turns, before dealing Fire DMG based on SAM’s ATK to all targets.

Firefly’s Technique follows in the footsteps of Acheron and Robin, two characters whose Technique effects persist wave-on-wave instead of acting once like most Techniques. This already makes it one of the better Techniques in the game against large groups of enemies but the addition of the Fire Weakness Implant makes it an absurd boon for Firefly, allowing her to hit for maximum damage against any target.

Firefly Traces and Passives

Next, let’s take a look at Firefly’s Major and Minor Traces, as well as what stat bonus and effects she will get access to. Firefly’s Traces are actually incredibly important for her viability in combat as they grant her opportunities for damage, new ways of increasing her most important stats, or improving her Weakness Break efficiency. There isn’t a single bad or wasted Trace in Firefly’s arsenal and you’ll want to pick them all up as soon as possible.

If you unlock all of Firefly’s Minor Traces, she’ll receive the following boosts to Break Effect, Effect RES, and SPD:

  • 37.3% Break Effect Boost
  • 18% Effect RES Boost
  • 5 SPD Boost
Like Fireflies to a Flame

Like Fireflies to a Flame

Firefly’s Character Ascension 2 Trace is Module Alpha: Antilag Outburst. During the Complete Combustion state, attacking enemies that have no Fire Weakness can also reduce their Toughness, with the effect being equivalent to 55% of the original Toughness Reduction. This is mainly to help with the Blast DMG from her Enhanced Skill as it will only implant Fire Weakness on the main target of the attack: now, with this Trace active, she can reduce the Toughness of all enemies hit, Fire Weak or not.

Meanwhile, her Ascension 4 Trace is Module Beta: Autoreactive Armor. While SAM is in the Complete Combustion state with a Break Effect that is equal to or greater than 200%/360%, attacking a Weakness Broken enemy target will convert the Toughness Reduction of this attack into one instance of 35%/50% Super Break DMG. With the introduction of the Harmon Trailblazer, Super Break has quickly become one of the strongest formats in Star Rail and with Firefly having access to her own instance of Super Break, she can deal absurd amounts of damage. This also gives her enhanced utility and viability even after she Breaks a target.

Finally, Module Gamma: Core Overload unlocks when Firefly reaches Ascension Level 6. For every 10 points of Firefly’s ATK that exceeds 1800 points, her Break Effect increases by 0.8%. This Trace is really impactful for two main reasons. Firstly, it allows you to invest in Firefly’s ATK without fearing that you’re missing out on Break Effect, her most vital stat, as it will increase both. Secondly, there isn’t a cap on how much Break Effect you can give Firefly, allowing you to reach absurd heights with certain buffs or effects.

Firefly Trace Priority Order

  1. Fyrefly Type-IV: Complete Combustion State (Ultimate)
  2. Order: Aerial Bombardment (Skill)
  3. Chrysalid Pyronexus (Talent)
  4. Order: Flare Propulsion (Basic ATK)

The Complete Combustion state is at the heart of Firefly’s utility and damage output. Not only does it give her access to her Enhanced Basic ATK and Skill but it also grants her a myriad of important stat bonuses and boosts. Investing in her Ultimate’s Trace Level will increase the SPD and Break DMG bonus she receives. Because Firefly will almost always be in the Complete Combustion state, this should be your priority so that you can make the most of her enhanced abilities whether you have Skill Points on hand or not

Close behind her Ultimate is her Skill. Aerial Bombardment and Deathstar Overload as Firefly’s main sources of damage and how she’ll be Breaking multiple targets consistently. Levelling Firefly’s Skill just increases the damage of both Skills but that’s all you really need: you want both effects, whether Enhanced or not, to hit hard and benefit massively from her high stat totals. In combination with the bonus from her Ultimate, you’ll be tearing across the battlefield in no time.

Then we come to her final two Traces, both of which are less important. Her Talent does provide some meaningful DMG Reduction, especially at higher levels, but it doesn’t increase her Energy gains. While important, her other abilities are simply more impactful in the long run. Meanwhile, her Basic ATK should only be used when you’re out of Skill Points as it scales purely off of ATK and won’t benefit from Firefly’s high Break Effect. Even when it’s in the Enhanced state, Firefly’s Enhanced Skill does everything it can do only better. So, in short, don’t neglect her Talent or Basic ATK but don’t prioritise them over levelling her Ultimate or Skill

Firefly’s Eidolons

If you get lucky enough to pull multiple copies of Firefly on her Character Event Warp, you’ll obtain a few of Firefly’s Eidolons. Eidolons increase a unit’s base abilities or add new passive effects which, usually, greatly improve their usability and viability. Some of Firefly’s early Eidolons are especially powerful, making them a good target for those looking to make their Firefly as potent as possible.

  1. In Reddened Chrysalis, I Once Rest: When using Firefly’s Enhanced Skill, ignores 15% of the target’s DEF. The Enhanced Skill does not consume Skill Points.
  2. From Shattered Sky, I Free Fall: While in Complete Combustion, using Firefly’s Enhanced Basic ATK or the Enhanced Skill to defeat an enemy target or to break their Weakness allows SAM to immediately gain 1 extra turn. This effect can trigger again after 1 turns.
  3. Amidst Silenced Stars, I Deep Sleep: Skill Lv. +2 and Basic ATK Lv, +1.
  4. Upon Lightened Fyrefly, I Soon Gaze: While in Complete Combustion, increases SAM’s Effect RES by 50%.
  5. From Undreamt Night, I Thence Shine: Ultimate Lv. +2 and Talent Lv. +2.
  6. In Finalized Morrow, I Full Bloom: While in Complete Combustion, increases SAM’s Fire RES PEN by 20%. When using Firefly’s Enhanced Basic ATK or Enhanced Skill, increases the Weakness Break efficiency by 50%.

Firefly’s E2 is one of the most impactful Eidolons and should be the target for lower spenders looking to improve their Firefly’s performance. Because the majority of Firefly’s damage comes from Weakness Break and Super Break, you want to have Firefly take as many actions as possible while the enemy is broken, and her E2 does just that.

Firefly’s Best Light Cones in Honkai: Star Rail

Best in Slot: Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest (Destruction)

While Firefly’s Character Event Warp is ongoing, her best-in-slot Light Cone, Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest (Destruction) will also be available from the Light Cone Event Warp. This is easily Firefly’s best Light Cone as it drastically improves her most important stat (Break Effect) while giving her some additional utility that aids the whole team, especially with regards to Super Break.

At level 80, Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest will provide the wearer with 1164 HP, 476 ATK, 529 DEF, and access to the Metamorphosis ability. This increases the wearer’s Break Effect by a massive 100%. Additionally, when the wearer deals Break DMG to an enemy target, it inflicts the Routed debuff on the enemy for 2 turns. Enemies afflicted with Routed receive a 40% increased Break DMG from the wearer and their SPD is lowered by 20%.

The bonus Break Effect is already enough reason to use this Light Cone on Firefly as her main damage sources come from Weakness Break and Super Break, both of which scale entirely off of Break Effect, but the addition of the Routed debuff just seals the deal. Most of Firefly’s best attacks deal Blast DMG, allowing you to afflict multiple enemies with Routed in a single turn. Not only does Routed increase Break DMG – thus improving Weakness Break and Super Break even further – but it also causes the enemies to remain Weakness Broken for a longer period thanks to the SPD decrease, allowing Super Break from Firefly or the Harmony MC to stay in play for longer.

Best Light Cones for Firefly

But what if you don’t have the Stellar Jade for Firefly’s signature Light Cone? Luckily, Firefly has several Destruction Light Cones she can turn to in that scenario, including several free-to-play options which become her new best-in-slot. We won’t be recommending limited 5-star Destruction Light Cones due to their rarity but, even then, there are still plenty of options left to make a great Firefly build.

Aside from Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest, the best Light Cones for Firefly in Honkai: Star Rail are:

  • On the Fall of an Aeon (Herta Shop 5-star Light Cone): Whenever the wearer attacks, their ATK increases by 8% in this battle. This effect can stack up to 4 times. After a character inflicts Weakness Break on an enemy, the wearer’s DMG increases by 12% for 2 turns).
  • Indelible Promise (Gacha 4-star Light Cone): Increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 28%. When the wearer uses their Ultimate, increases CRIT Rate by 15%, lasting for 2 turns.
  • Flames Afar (Priceless Jewels 4-star Light Cone): When the wearer’s cumulative HP loss during one attack exceeds 25% of their Max HP, or if the amount of their own HP consumed at one time is greater than 25% of their Max HP, immediately heals the wearer for 15% of their Max HP, and at the same time, increases the DMG they deal by 25% for 2 turn(s). You can only trigger this effect once every 3 turns.

Of the three, On the Fall of an Aeon is easily the best replacement option as it’s a F2P friendly 5-star Destruction Light Cone that you can easily get to S5 by simply running the Simulated Universe week-to-week. The massive ATK boost it gives will directly translate into more Break Effect thanks to Firefly’s Traces, resulting in higher initial Break damage and higher Super Break damage, giving Firefly a massive edge over the competition. Additionally, because a large chunk of the ATK is being managed by your Aeon stacks, you can go all in on Break Effect Relics for Firefly.

If On the Fall of an Aeon is out of reach, though, go for Indelible Promise thanks to its meaty Break Effect and CRIT Rate boosts. However, because it is a relatively new Light Cone, it’s much harder to obtain and way harder to get S5 (in fact, as of 2.3, it’s only been on rate-up once back in Version 2.0). In that scenario, you’ll need to settle for Flames Afar which, while less potent than the other options, is still viable thanks to the health drain from Firefly’s base Skill.

Firefly’s Best Relics and Planar Ornaments

For Firefly’s main Relic set, consider using either of the following:

  • 4pc Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge: Increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 16%. If the wearer’s Break Effect is 150% or higher, the Break DMG dealt to the enemy target ignores 10% of their DEF. If the wearer’s Break Effect is 250% or higher, the Super Break DMG dealt to the enemy target additionally ignores 15% of their DEF.
  • 4pc Thief of Shooting Meteor: Increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 16%. Increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 16%. After the wearer inflicts Weakness Break on an enemy, regenerates 3 Energy.

Of the two, Iron Cavalry is the better of the two Relic sets for Firefly. As we’ve mentioned several times before, an increased Break Effect is always going to be great for Firefly and between her Light Cone, Traces, and Relics, hitting 150% or even 250% Break Effect is going to be relatively simple. From there, allowing Firefly’s already absurd Break DMG and Super Break DMG to ignore DEF allows her to absolutely shred through any type of enemy, no matter how strong.

However, Iron Cavalry is a new Relic set and so farming it out may be tricky for newer players. In that case, Thief of Shooting Meteor is a good set to use in the meantime. The extra Break Effect is still really solid and Firefly will be breaking enemies often enough to make use of the extra energy gains. However, she will lose out on a ton of damage so you’re trading damage for Ultimate consistency.

Firefly's Best Relic Sets

Firefly’s Best Relic Sets

Meanwhile, for Planar Ornaments, your two main choices are:

  • 2pc Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern: Increases the wearer’s SPD by 6%. When the wearer hits an enemy target that has Fire Weakness, the wearer’s Break Effect increases by 40%, lasting for 1 turn.
  • 2pc Firmament Frontline: Glammoth: Increases the wearer’s ATK by 12%. When the wearer’s SPD is equal to or higher than 135/160, the wearer deals 12%/18% more DMG.

Once again, the Break Effect-focused set is way more beneficial for a solid Firefly build. As we mentioned previously, SPD is a vital stat for Firefly as she deals more damage to Broken targets because of Super Break: if Firefly has higher SPD or the enemy has lower SPD, they’ll spend more time Weakness Broken and be able to suffer more Super Break DMG. Furthermore, she’ll always be able to take advantage of the second half of the Relic set because she can implant Fire Weakness using her Enhanced Skill.

Meanwhile, full-piece Glammoth is a much more niche set which could work in a select few builds. The effectiveness of Glammoth entirely depends on the wearer’s SPD stat, granting more and more ATK the higher your SPD. For Firefly, this is essentially just rewarding you for investing in the right stats: more SPD leads to more ATK which leads to more Break Effect which leads to more overall damage. However, because of how much min-maxing you need to do, most players and teams will see far greater benefits from full-piece Forge, instead.

Most Important Stats for Firefly

Getting the right Relic sets is only the first step to making a great Firefly build. Alongside that, you also need a good crop of main and sub-stats to supplement your Traces and Light Cones. For Firefly, the three main stats you’re looking for are Break Effect, ATK, and SPD. The first two are to simply raise Firefly’s damage threshold, while the latter allows Firefly to take more turns and trigger more rounds of Super Break.

Here are the main stats you should be searching for on Firefly’s Relics and Planar Ornaments:

  • Body: ATK%
  • Boots: SPD
  • Sphere: Fire DMG Bonus
  • Rope: Break Effect

Furthermore, here are the best sub-stats for Firefly’s Relics:

  1. Break Effect
  2. ATK%
  3. SPD
  4. CRIT Rate

Firefly Team Compositions

Firefly Superbreak Team

Although Firefly is very strong, she, like Acheron, is pretty limited in terms of team compositions. As a non-Crit-scaling DPS who relies on Weakness Break for the majority of her damage, Firefly fills a weird niche that many of Star Rail’s current buffers and supports don’t pair well with. There are a good few and those who do pair with Firefly have the potential to craft one of the strongest teams in the whole game, but she is more limited in that regard compared to some other DPS.

However, in her premium Super Break team, Firefly is in contention for the strongest DPS in Honkai: Star Rail. If you want to make that team yourself, you’ll be pairing Firefly with the Harmony Trailblazer, Ruan Mei, and Gallagher, all of whom are Weakness Break-focused units in one way or another.

  • Firefly (Wherabouts Should Dreams Rest) | 4pc Iron Cavalry + 2pc Kalpagni Lantern
  • Harmony Trailblazer (Memories of the Past) | 4pc Meteor Thief + 2pc Kalpagni Lantern
  • Ruan Mei (Past Self in Mirror) | 4pc Watchmaker + 2pc Kalpagni Lantern
  • Gallagher (What Is Real?) | 2pc Meteor Thief, 2pc Wandering Clouds + 2pc Kalpagni Lantern
Firefly Premium Super Break Team

Firefly Premium Super Break Team

Firefly’s best premium team is very interesting because it’s unlike anything else currently in Honkai: Star Rail. For one, her best teammate is Harmony Trailblaze, a completely free unit and the best applicator of Super Break in the entire game. Not only does the Harmony Trailblaze boost the entire team’s Break Effect – increasing Firefly’s damage output in the process – but they also allow the entire team to trigger their own instances of Super Break. This acts alongside Firefly’s unique instance of Super Break, leading to a ton of damage.

Meanwhile, Ruan Mei is already one of the best buffers in the game but she feels tailor-made to work with Firefly. Between the Weakness Break Efficiency boost from her Skill, the All-Type RES Pen and Weakness Delay from her Ultimate, and the big SPD buff she gives the entire team, Ruan Mei is just perfect and buffs Firefly’s performance drastically. Then we have Gallagher, the only Break Effect-scaling Abundance unit as of 2.3 and he works excellently, with his Besotted debuff increasing the Break DMG enemies take.

Finally, because Firefly can implant Fire Weakness relatively easily, your entire team can run Kalpagni Lantern on their Planar Ornament set. This will give the entire team extra SPD and almost permanent uptime on +40% Break Effect, a stat all four members rely on to either deal high damage or support their allies.

Ruan Mei, Mad Scientist

Ruan Mei, Mad Scientist

F2P Firefly Superbreak Team

While Firefly is quite limited in terms of potential team composition, she is very lucky because two of her three best team members are available readily to F2P players. The Harmony Trailblazer, in particular, is completely free to earn and all players can acquire all six of their Eidolons by just playing the game. This makes Firefly a really comfortable unit to build around because even most F2P players can make an effective composition for her.

As such, if you’re new or you’re F2P and are looking for a great DPS, Firefly is the unit for you. In this instance, your Firefly Super Break composition will, once again, include Firefly, Harmony MC, and Gallagher, but replace Ruan Mei for the likes of Asta, another character all players will have access.

  • Firefly (On the Fall of an Aeon) | 4pc Iron Cavalry + 2pc Kalpagni Lantern
  • Harmony Trailblazer (Memories of the Past) | 4pc Watchmaker + 2pc Kalpagni Lantern
  • Asta (Planetary Rendezvous) | 4pc Meteor Thief + 2pc Kalpagni Lantern
  • Gallagher (What Is Real?) | 2pc Meteor Thief, 2pc Wandering Clouds + 2pc Kalpagni Lantern
Firefly F2P Super Break Team

Firefly F2P Super Break Team

The only new member of this team composition is Asta because the Harmony Trailblazer and Gallagher will serve the same role in both the premium and F2P teams. Asta provides a lot of the same buffs and bonuses as Ruan Mei, only scaled down to a 4-star level. Her Ultimate provides the entire team with a substantial SPD buff that Firefly, in particular, will be able to take massive advantage of. Meanwhile, her Skill is actually a great source of Fire Weakness Break, something she’ll be able to easily trigger thanks to Firefly’s Weakness implant.

Furthermore, Asta’s Talent gives her a unique ATK buff which the entire team can benefit from. Each time Asta hits a different enemy, she’ll gain one stack of Charge, increasing the ATK of all her allies up to five times. Once again, this is an incredible boon for Firefly as she gains more Break Effect the higher her ATK stat is, meaning that Asta will always be buffing her damage output.

Asta, Rich Scientist

That was how to make the best Firefly build and team composition in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3.
