Honkai: Star Rail | All Lordly Trashcan Locations in 2.1 (Dewlight Pavilion and Clock Studios)

Learn where to find all the new Lordly Trashcans in Honkai: Star Rail 2.1 with this quick and easy guide. Honkai: Star Rail | All Lordly Trashcan Locations in 2.1 (Dewlight Pavilion and Clock Studios)The grand saga of Penacony continues in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1. As the Astral Express dives deeper into The Family’s Dreamscape, they and several other interested individuals from other factions will begin to peel back the lies and madness surrounding The Reverie’s lucid halls. With two brand new areas to explore – the illustrious and secretive Dewlight Pavilion and the wild and wonderous Clock Studios Theme Park – there are plenty of new parts of the Dreamscape for Trailblazer to come across, but one prominent returning Dreamscape staple from 2.0 is the Lordly Trashcans.

Lordly Trashcans are a new type of Treasure which, so far, are completely unique to Penacony’s Dreamscape locations. Like regular Treasure Chests or curious Warp Trotters, Trailblazers can find these odd bundles or rubbish hidden in various places in Penacony, with them usually disguising themselves in plain sight. Finding these Lordly Trashcans is well worth the effort as, if you can either defeat them in battle or consent to their unique personalities, they will shower you in precious Stellar Jade for more pulls. And, as luck would have it, a new batch of Lordly Trashcan has been added to Honkai: Star Rail with the 2.1 update.

Here’s where to find all four of the new Lordly Trashcans in the Dewlight Pavilion and Clock Studios Theme Park locations in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1. If you’d like to see where the first set of Lordly Trashcans is – the ones from the first four locations in Penacony – then check out our guide on the Lordly Trashcans of Honkai: Star Rail 2.0 for more information.

The Great Lordly Trashcan

The Great Lordly Trashcan

What are Lordly Trashcans in Honkai Star Rail?

First things first, let’s quickly go over how to identify the Lordly Trashcans as well as what makes them truly strange. As we previously mentioned, Lordly Trashcans are considered a new type of Treasure item, just like Warp Trotters and treasure chests, meaning that you need to find them if you want to get 100% Treasure in each of Penacony’s areas. However, they don’t appear in reality, only in the Dreamscape, so there aren’t any Lordly Trashcans in The Reverie, but there are at least two in all of Penacony’s other locals.

Additionally, this means that you can only acquire each Trashcan’s unique rewards once. As for where they can be found, the Lordly Trashcans are hiding in various parts of Penacony’s Dreamscape – aka Golden Hour, Dream’s Edge, A Child’s Dream, The Reverie (Dreamscape), and, new with 2.1, Dewlight Pavilion and Clock Studios Theme Park – where they’ll be disguised as ordinary rubbish bins. Only once you approach them will their true identity be revealed.

Each of the Lordly Trashcans currently in the game has their own personality, as well as a set of questions or riddles they’ll ask you corresponding to said personality. If you choose the right responses or favour the worldview of that Trashcan, they’ll give you the rewards without any hassle: say the wrong thing, though, and they’ll attack, taking you into combat where you must defeat them to earn those same rewards.

Hiding in Plain Sight

Hiding in Plain Sight

In battle, Lordly Trashcans are extremely dangerous, capable of easily taking out even the toughest party members in a single hit. With each turn, the Lordly Trashcan will attack one of your teammates and then buff its own ATK stat, allowing it to sweep through your team. Their main gimmick is that they don’t have a Weakness until you attack them, which will implant the element of the attacking unit as a Weakness, similar to Silver Wolf’s implantation effect. Break the Lordly Trashcan’s Toughness Bar and they’ll consider the challenge complete, wandering off into the unknown.

No matter how you overcome a Lordly Trashcan’s trial, either through violence or through negotiation, they will give you Stellar Jade and Clock Credits as a reward. The 2.1 Lordly Trashcans will give out 20 Stellar Jade and 120 Clock Credits to successful adventurers, totalling over 80 Stellar Jade and 480 Clock Credits if you find all four sprinkled around the Dewlight Pavilion and Clock Studios locations.

The Might of the Trashcans

The Might of the Trashcans

All Lordly Trashcans in Dewlight Pavilion

The Dewlight Pavilion is a grand, lavish new location and home of the illustrious Oak Family, the faction headed by Family Big Shot Sunday. No matter how big someone is, though, they need to take out their trash sometime, so this will be the first new area we’ll be scouting for Lordly Trashcans.

If you’d prefer a video walkthrough of where to find both of Dewlight Pavilion’s Lordly Trashcans, check out our Honkai: Star Rail Dewlight Pavilion collectable guide below. There you’ll find the locations of both Lordly Trashcans (19:25 and 31:33 for each Trashcan) as well as all of the Chests, challenges, Origami Birds, and more.

Dewlight Pavilion Lordly Trashcan 1

To find the first of Dewlight’s Pavilion’s sentient bags of rubbish, start your search at the Dreammaster’s Hall Space Anchor. This will start you next to the sandpit, as well as the Origami Bird Great Tree for this area. Once you’re there, walk towards the entrance to Sunday’s study but turn left exit, instead. Then, ignore the stairs and peek around the corner. There, sat idly in the corridor, should be your first Lordly Trashcan.

This is the Stern Bucket and they are very irate at the lack of “manners” newer members of The Family seem to have. They’ll pose two questions to you, brutally attacking you if you fail to answer with the correct decorum. Firstly, they’ll ask what the appropriate thing to do is when you’re giving directions to a guest, to which you should answer that you’ll keep your fingers together and point in the right direction. Then, in response to the Stern Bucket’s second question, say that you’d lower your glass when clinking it with theirs. Do both of these correctly and the Stern Bucket will be so impressed with your manner that they’ll give you some Stellar Jade as a parting gift.

Dewlight Pavilion Lordly Trashcan 2

As for the second Lordly Trashcan in the Dewlight Pavilion, you’ll need to a trip into Sunday’s strange, size-changing sandpit. You can do this by interacting with the gate at the southern edge of the sandpit, which is next to the Dreammaster’s Hall Space Anchor. Alternatively, if you’ve visited the space before in the Trailblaze Mission, you can just teleport directly to the City Sandpit Space Anchor.

Once you’re inside the Sandpit, head all the way to the western side of the map, ignoring all of the strange and broken NPCs as you do so. Eventually, you’ll reach the barrier where the sandpit ends and you can return to your normal size but, if you take a good look around that area, you’ll soon find the second Dewlight Pavilion Lordly Trashcan hiding away amongst the fakery.

Compared to the manner-obsessed Stern Bucket, this is the Enthusiastic Bucket, a Lordly Trashcan with a strange obsession for properly punishing wrongdoers. To soundly beat this Trashcan’s questions, respond to the first question – which is about how you deal with someone damaging public property – that you’d teach them a lesson with your galactic baseball bat. This will excite the Enthusatic Bucket, who will then ask their second question about what to do with someone who messes up the Charmony Festival due to an unintentional mistake. Obviously, they need to be beaten up until they promise to never repeat the mistake again. Say both of these responses and the Lordly Trashcan will be more than satisfied.

All Lordly Trashcans in Clock Studios Theme Park

The other new location in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1 is Clock Studios Theme Park, a moveset where Penacony’s cartoon mascot, Clockie, comes to life. And just like in Dewlight Pavilion, Clock Studios has two Lordly Trashcans to find and locate amongst the sea of cardboard stunt doubles and Detective Hanu posters.

Just like with the Dewlight Pavilion, you can find our video walkthrough of Clock Studios Theme Park in Honkai: Star Rail below. You can find both Lordly Trashcans at 09:01 and 28:14 but, if you’re missing any other Clock Studios collectables such as other bits of Treasure or some Origami Birds, be sure to check out the whole video for more.

Clock Studios Theme Park Lordly Trashcan 1

To reach the first Trashcan in Clock Studios, Bud of Preservation Crimson Calyx to the south of the Theme Park. If you need help navigating there, start at the Theme Park Entrance Space Anchor and then take the right path down to the maze. Pass through the maze before taking the pinball machine to the other side, where the Calyx will be waiting for you. Alongside a chest, an Origami Bird and a Jigsaw Challenge, you’ll find the Lordly Trashcan huddled at the back of the filming lot.

This Lordly Trashcan is the Hanu-Obsessed Bucket and, as the name suggests, they’re completely infatuated with everyone’s favourite detective, Hanu. As such, all of their questions revolve around their idol and what he would do in certain situations. Well, as a true fan of Hanu would know, you should respond to both questions with the answer “Let out a grunt that sounds cool”. This will greatly impress the Hanu-Obsessed Bucket, who will leave behind a Stellar Jade memento before disappearing into the night.

Clock Studios Theme Park Lordly Trashcan 2

Finally, the last Lordly Trashcan you can come across in Honkai: Star Rail 2.1 is the Dramatic Bucket, a fitting being for the Theme Park. Reaching it is rather simple as it’s close to another one of Clock Studios’ main attractions: the Origami Bird Great Tree.

Begin by teleporting to the Hamster Ball Park Space Anchor. Once you arrive, walk past the film set and down towards the Master Gold’s Great Origami Bird Tree. As soon as you reach the almighty bird, turn around and the Lordly Trashcan will be right there, tucked away in a corner.

The Dramatic Bucket is a fan of all things theatrical and they’re currently playing the role of a secretive figure waiting for their contact. First, confirm that you are, indeed, their contact. Then, for their second question, respond with the passphrase “SoulGlad above all!” to fool the Dramatic Bucket and walk away with your fair share of Stellar Jade and Clock Credits.

That was where to find all four of the new Lordly Trashcans in Clock Studios Theme Park and Dewlight Pavilion, the two newest locations in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1.
