Marciana Combat Overview

Let’s look at Marciana’s Nikke Skills to start the guide. As a Supporter Nikke, she focuses on recovering her teammates’ HP. Let’s start with her Skill 1, Drone Supporter, which has two attributes whenever Marciana fires off her last bullet. She can increase two allies’ HP Potency by up to 26.98% and recover 10.95% of attack damage as HP for all allies. These two effects last for 3 seconds, so the amount of heals is enough, but it might diminish if Marciana’s bullet count is increased, as she can cast her Skill 1 without firing off the last bullet.

Meanwhile, her Skill 2, School Nurse, is pretty straightforward, yet very impressive and vital to her overall kit, as she will heal all allies by a certain amount of her final Max HP, making any HP-related bonuses you can give Marciana will boost her healing power substantially.

Lastly, her Burst Skill, A Teacher’s Grace, is Marciana’s unique power to store excess healing effects that grace all characters’ Max HP. This means that any type of overheal (gaining heal even though the HP is at full capacity) will be stored as bonus HP, up to 27.82% of Marciana’s Max HP. Not only that, but this Burst Skill also grants all allies bonus DEF stat that lasts for 10 seconds, enough to hold down the fort against Campaign Stages or Interception.

Overall, Marciana is a solid healer for several team compositions, however, her healing power might not be powerful enough for some Nikkes, such as A2, and other healers can do the job better like Mary: Bay Goddess. Still, despite her shortcomings, Marciana remains a good pick for a Burst 2 Healer thanks to her Burst Skill cooldown which is only 20 seconds.

To summarize, we have provided a table that highlights Marciana’s strengths and weaknesses below:

Strengths Weaknesses
Marciana’s healing powers are decent enough to keep her allies safe throughout a battle Unable to fully heal Nikkes that need to keep their HP above a certain percentage, like A2
Marciana’s overheal mechanic is unique and can be useful on some occasions Marciana’s healing powers can be easily overshadowed by other healers such as Mary: Bay Goddess
Being a Shotgun Nikke allows Marciana to keep triggering her Skill 1’s effects relatively easily Does not provide any attacking buffs for her allies, making her a less favorable pick for the Burst 2 Nikke spot in your team

Skills Priority

Now that you know Marciana’s Skills, it’s time to move on to her Skills Priority. As she is a Supporter Nikke, here is the hierarchy of what you should upgrade first (in descending order):

  • School Nurse: Marciana’s Skill 2 is her main source of healing buff and a vital point as a Healer. This Skill activates whenever she uses her Burst Skill, so it’s best to use her as the main Burst 2 Nikke in your team composition to fully utilize what Marciana has to offer.
  • Drone Supporter: The next Skill to prioritize is her Skill 1, Drone Supporter. This Skill is another source of healing and HP Potency increase for all of Marciana’s allies. However, keep in mind not to have excessive Ammunition buffs as that can hinder the usage of this Skill.
  • A Teacher’s Grace: Lastly, Burst Skill has the lowest priority simply because of how situational it is. Overheal may or may not happen during a battle, so Marciana’s Burst Skill can be a hit or miss.

Best Equipment Substats

Since Marciana is a Supporter-Class Nikke, she can only use the corresponding equipment designated for that Class. Although not mandatory, Marciana can shine better when you give her multiple Overload Tier buffs. Still, if you don’t have any Elysion equipment, then leveling them up to level 5 is more than enough.

However, if you do have excess equipment and wish to place them on Marciana, I recommend you to look out for Increase DEF and Increase ATK sub-stats if you wish to upgrade her equipment to Overload Tier to add some firepower to her kit.

However, you should avoid any Increase Max Ammunition sub-stat as that may hinder her Skill 1 effect, which requires Marciana to repeatedly fire off her final bullet.

Marciana’s Potential Team Composition

As for her potential teammates, Marciana is quite flexible, though she’s a Nikke that might not mesh well with several Nikkes. With that in mind, we will list down two potential lineups for Marciana in this Goddess of Victory: NIKKE guide.

Scarlet + Anis: Sparkling Summer Lineup

For this team, we recommend using Flex Burst 1, Marciana, Scarlet, Anis: Sparkling Summer, and Privaty.

This team composition is relatively forgiving when choosing what Burst 1 Nikke to bring, however, we suggest using Liter or Dorothy whenever possible, as those two can provide the much-needed offensive support to help Scarlet.

Moving on to the Burst 2 Nikke slot, Marciana will take that spot as her Burst Skill cooldown is only 20 seconds, fitting a team composition like this one where Burst 3 Nikkes are the focus. Marciana will act as the main Healer for the team, providing the DPS units with the necessary tools to survive every battle.

However, though very strong on paper, as you will use both Scarlet and Anis: Sparkling Summer in this team lineup, two Nikkes that work incredibly well with each other, Scarlet might have slight difficulty in managing her ammunition resources, as Marciana does not provide that type of buff for her team. Still, this is arguably Marciana’s best possible team composition, so you should always try using this lineup if you want to use Marciana.

Alice + Maxwell Lineup

For this team, we recommend using Liter, Marciana, Alice, Maxwell, and Privaty.

There are minimal changes compared to the previous lineup, the difference here is that we’re using Alice as the main DPS while Maxwell will pair up with her to provide offensive support. Liter is more valuable here compared to Dorothy or other Burst 1 Nikke since Liter’s buffs are very beneficial for Alice, while Marciana can keep everyone safe throughout the battles.

Marciana’s Overall Power Rank

Now that we’ve gone through Marciana’s Skills and her Team potential, it’s time to talk about her usability in every content within the game. In Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, there are many challenges that players must face, such as Interception, Arena, and Tribe Towers. As stated before, Marciana is a decent healer who can fit many team lineups but falters a bit when paired with HP-intensive Nikkes like A2.

And so, to close off this Marciana Nikke guide, we will provide a table that includes her usability against all game contents, including Interception and PvP Arena, to provide insight about what types of content she’s strong in and which are the ones you should avoid using her.

Type of Content

Usability Rank

(E – SS)

Explanations
Campaign Stages (Early) S If you’re still in Early Campaign Stages (Chapters 1 – 16), any kind of Healer Nikke is super valuable, as you might find yourself in danger during the early run of the game. If you have Marciana, then she can be your main Healer to burst through the Campaign Stages as her healing powers are more than enough to keep your team alive.
Campaign Stages (Late) B Although Marciana’s usability is still good even in Campaign Stages Chapter 17+, things start to get tricky, especially against Raptures that can stun or simply outpace Marciana’s healing capacity, so you should exercise caution when picking the correct Campaign Stages for Marciana.
PvP Arena C Marciana’s position as a Healer in PvP Arena is quite low as there are other Nikkes who can do a better job than her, such as Rapunzel, Blanc, Pepper, and Mary: Bay Goddess. It is not recommended to use Marciana if you have any of the above Healers mentioned.
Interception B In Interception, Marciana’s usability is decent, though she can’t be used against all Interception Bosses, especially the ones that require precise lineup and strategy such as Alteisen and Grave Digger. It is only recommended to bring Marciana against Modernia, Blacksmith, or Chatterbox since she can restore her allies’ HP reliably after receiving damage from those Bosses.

And that’s the character guide for Marciana for Goddess of Victory: NIKKE.
