Ludmilla: Winter Owner Combat Overview

Let’s look at Ludmilla: Winter Owner’s Nikke Skills to start the guide. As an Attacker Nikke, she mainly serves as the primary damage dealer for her teams, as she can dish out the damage that can contend with Modernia. Ludmilla: Winter Owner’s Skill 1, The Queen’s Gaze, allows Ludmilla: Winter Owner to inflict several debuffs on her enemies by increasing their damage taken as well as dealing up to 158.43% of her final ATK as additional damage against them.  As if that weren’t enough, this Skill 1 also reloads 20 rounds of ammunition for every 60 normal attacks that Ludmilla: Winter Owner lands on her targets.

Meanwhile, her Skill 2, Snowstorm, activates only Ludmilla: Winter Owner hits her enemies’ Core 60 times, and she will damage those enemies more. This is very useful against Boss Raptures, and she can be a great asset to your team if built properly. In addition to that, Ludmilla: Winter Owner gains a Critical Rate bonus whenever a Full Burst phase begins.

Lastly, with her Burst Skill, Guiding Lantern, is pretty straightforward, as the effects in this Burst Skill grant several buffs to Ludmilla: Winter Owner. The first one increases her ATK by 62.54% for 10 seconds, which is very important and beneficial to her, as during this time window, if the timing is right, then her damage will rise substantially. Moreover, to help her negate the Ammunition problem, Ludmilla: Winter Owner’s Burst Skill also gives her a bonus Reloading Speed of 67.2% for 20 seconds.

Overall, Ludmilla: Winter Owner is a very much welcomed addition to the game as a Water Code DPS Nikke who can contend with the likes of Modernia, and can be paired with pretty much any offensive buffers in the game.

Strengths and Weaknesses

To summarize, we have provided a table that highlights Ludmilla: Winter Owner’s strengths and weaknesses below:

Strengths Weaknesses
Ludmilla: Winter Owner’s kit is wonderful when pitted against Interception Bosses, or any other Bosses in Goddess of Victory: Nikke Ludmilla: Winter Owner’s capability in PvP Arena is quite abysmal, faltering against other DPS Nikkes that excel in that part of the game
She has self-ammunition reload skills and Reload Speed buff, two things that other Machine Gun Nikkes are jealous of
Ludmilla: Winter Owner’s Skills are centered around herself, thus she can’t provide AoE Damage against the enemies, therefore reducing her usability as a main DPS unit in Campaign Stages
Has one of the best debuffs in the game, Inflict Damage Taken, which can increase her damage while also helping her teammates provide additional firepower
She’s a super versatile Nikke to have, giving her leniency on which teams she can fit in

Skills Priority

Now that you know Ludmilla: Winter Owner’s Skills, it’s time to move on to her Skills Priority. As she is an Attacker Nikke, here is the hierarchy of what you should upgrade first (in descending order):

  • The Queen’s Gaze: Ludmilla: Winter Owner’s Skill 1 is her main source of damage and debuff potential. Additionally, with the ammunition refund system, her Skill 1 scales greatly as the level increases. Heavily prioritize upgrading this Skill before moving on to the other two Skills.
  • Guiding Lantern: The next Skill to prioritize is her Burst Skill, Guiding Lantern. Her Burst Skill, as previously mentioned, grants her two offensive effects that are highly beneficial for her, especially with the Reload Speed buff within.
  • Snowstorm: Skill 2 has the lowest priority among the three simply because its scaling is relatively weaker compared to Ludmilla: Winter Owner’s other Skills, so even without further enhancement, this Skill will still do its job brilliantly.

Best Equipment Substats

Ludmilla: Winter Owner is an Attacker-Class Nikke, so she can only use the corresponding equipment designated for that Class. Ludmilla: Winter Owner is one of the DPS units in the game where she can reach her maximal potential if you give her all Overload Gears, so that’s what you should be aiming for in terms of Ludmilla: Winter Owner’s gears.

As for the recommended sub-stats, I recommend you to look out for Increase Max Ammunition, Increase Elemental DMG, and Increase ATK sub-stats for optimal uptime and damage bursts output for Ludmilla: Winter Owner.

Ludmilla: Winter Owner’s Potential Team Composition

As for her potential teammates, Ludmilla: Winter Owner is pretty flexible even as a DPS Nikke, as she can buff herself, and with the right Cube, she can fit in any team compositions that you can field. For this guide, we will jot down two potential lineups for Ludmilla: Winter Owner that can showcase her strength.

Ludmilla: Winter Owner + Duo JK

For this team, we recommend using Volume, Naga, Tia, Red Hood, and Ludmilla: Winter Owner.

The reason why this team is one of her recommended lineups is thanks to her synergy with Red Hood’s initial 70% ATK boost from her Burst Skill. As for Naga and Tia, they can pair up to provide a substantial and more importantly, a steady stream of offensive buffs and shielding abilities.

However, to field this team to their optimal condition, you must at least have your Ludmilla: Winter Owner to have Burst Skill Lv. 5 and two Increase Max Ammunition sub-stats from the Overload Gears.

Ludmilla: Winter Owner + Duo Bunny

For this team, we recommend using Liter, Blanc, Modernia/Alice/Red Hood, Noir, and Ludmilla: Winter Owner.

This team composition is weaker compared to the previous team, however, this team provides a foolproof and relatively safe space for Ludmilla: Winter Owner to do her magic, as this combo allows her to practically have infinite ammunition throughout a battle without needing to worry for reload times.

Ludmilla: Winter Owner’s Overall Power Rank

Now that we’ve gone through Ludmilla: Winter Owner’s Skills and her Team potential, it’s time to talk about her usability in every content within the game. In Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, there are many challenges that players must face, such as Interception, Arena, and Tribe Towers.

As stated before, Ludmilla: Winter Owner is a solid DPS Nikke to have in any team compositions, though she can’t replace the resident DPS units such as Scarlet, Alice, Modernia, and Red Hood.

And so, to close off this Ludmilla: Winter Owner Nikke guide, we will provide a table that includes her usability against all game contents, including Interception and PvP Arena, to provide insight into what types of content she’s strong in and which are the ones you should avoid using her.

Power Rank Table

Type of Content

Usability Rank

(E – SS)

Explanations
Campaign Stages (Early) S If you’re still in the Early Campaign Stages (Chapters 1 – 16), Ludmilla: Winter Owner can provide a great source of damage against the Raptures thanks to her strong ATK buff during Burst and inflicting her enemies with Increase Damage Taken Debuff.
Campaign Stages (Late) A Starting in Campaign Stages Chapter 17+, Ludmilla: Winter Owner might start to falter a bit since she does not have any AoE capabilities like Modernia or Scarlet. Moreover, she does not have any inherent offensive buffs outside of her Burst Skill, so that will further dwindle her damage output if not supported properly.
PvP Arena C Since her Skills can’t activate that fast, she will get out damaged, outperformed, and outlived by other top DPS units in PvP scenarios. Try to avoid using her here.
Interception SS Interception is where Ludmilla: Winter Owner can shine the best. Her nature as a Water Code DPS Nikke means that she’s strong against Fire Code Raptures and Bosses, granting her additional damage thanks to the elemental advantage.
Tribe Tower SS Ludmilla: Winter Owner is an incredibly good Tetra DPS unit, especially if you combine her with Volume, Blanc, Noir, and Alice on the Tribe Tower. She can replace Anis: Sparkling Summer’s place in your Tetra lineup.

And that’s the character guide for Ludmilla: Winter Owner for Goddess of Victory: NIKKE.
