Genshin Impact Best Mika Best Build Guide

Here is everything you need to know to build Mika, the Front-Line Surveyor, in Genshin Impact. Mika has a very interesting kit full of different buffs and effects that help boost a large number of characters, especially Physical DPS units. This guide will showcase everything Mika has to offer, including showing Mika's best weapons, teams, artifacts and more.

Genshin Impact Best Mika Build Guide

Mika is the newest 4-Star to join the Genshin Impact roster in Version 3.5. Following a quaint (and somewhat awkward) introduction in the Weinlesefest, Mika will finally become a playable unit during the second half of Version 3.5, marking the first new Cryo character since Layla last year. A cautious and low-key individual who doesn’t wish to step on anyone’s toes, Mika is content to do his job as a surveyor in the Knights of Favonius and then slip away as not to be a hindrance.

In terms of his combat potential, fans of physical DPS units like Razor and Eula will be pleased to hear that Mika is built to be a Physical Support unit, helping buff the Physical DMG Bonus of his teammates. He can also serve as a solid healer, ATK SPD booster and more as an effective Cryo support unit. There’s a lot of potential inherent in Mika, so long as you know how to use him and who to pair him with.

Here is everything you need to know to make the best Genshin Impact Mika build. This includes looking at what Mika’s best weapons are, what his best team compositions are, the artifact sets you should seek out for him and much more.

Mika General Information

Who is Mika in Genshin Impact?

Mika is a new 4-Star character that hails from the region of Mondstadt, who we first met during the Of Ballads and Brews event during Version 3.1. He is a dutiful member of the Knights of Favonius, serving as one of their Front-Line Map Surveyors who works closely with the Grand Master of the Knights, Varka. Despite holding such an important role (and a position of high esteem) Mika struggles to make conversation with people, preferring to scuttle away whenever someone tries to strike up a conversation with him.

During battle, Mika prefers to play a more supportive role than some of his other allies. By taking the back-line with his Polearm and crossbow, Mika hopes to not only serve as an effective buffer for multiple parts of his companions, including increasing their ATK SPD or Physical DMG Bonus, but also as a strong healer. He is extremely versatile and, despite having some clear pairings, will work well in a variety of teams thanks to his multitude of strengths.

“Being a Front-Line Surveyor sounds simple, but the role entails far more than just cartography and taking point.

Reconnaissance, healing, combat, and survival… All kinds of unexpected situations are the challenges a Front-Line Surveyor will face in reality.

Fortunately, Mika is a modest and prudent young man. Without anyone realizing it, he has already grown into an excellent member that everyone can rely on.”

How to Get Mika

Mika is one of Genshin Impact’s many 4-Star characters. This means that, following his initial run in 3.5, Mika will join the standard pool of 4-Star characters, allowing him to be summoned on any of Genshin Impact’s Wishes, whether it be the Character Event, Weapon Event or even the Standard Banner.

It is worth noting that, when Mika joins the rest of the 4-Stars in the general pool, the chance of obtaining him will drop significantly: he will be competing with over 20 other 4-Star characters and weapons, lowering your chance of getting him significantly. If you’re seeking out the Front-Line Surveyor, it is best to summon on a Banner where he is one of the featured 4-Star units, which dramatically increases his chance of appearing.

During the second half of Version 3.5, Mika will be available as a featured 4-Star unit alongside Sucrose and Diona on the Character Event Wishes for Shenhe and Ayaka. If you decide to pull on either of these Banners, there is a high likelihood that Mika will be the 4-Star unit who appears.

Mika Ascension Materials and Costs

To raise Mika from Ascension Level 1 up to Ascension Level 90, you need to gather the following materials:

  • Wolfhook (Mondstadt Local Speciality)
  • Recruit’s Insignia (Enemy Drop)
  • Pseudo-Stamens (World Boss Drop)
  • Shivada Jade Gemstone (Cryo Elemental Gemstones)

Wolfhooks are a rare and elusive plant that grows in the wilds of Mondstadt. They appear to be small, spherical purple berries with sharp thorns that often grow by the side of trees and other bits of foliage. Up to now, only Razor has needed to make use of Wolfhooks, which can primarily be found near the den of the Wolf of the North Weekly Boss. In total, Mika needs 186 Woolfhooks to reach the maximum Ascension Level. You can make the search easier by either using Mika or Klee’s Passive Talents (which highlight Mondstadt Specialities on the mini-map) or the Teyvat Interactive Map for pinpoint accuracy.

In the Wild

In the Wild

Next up are the Recruit Insignias. These items drop from the Fatui class of enemies, including all types of Fatui Skirmishers, Fatui Pyro Agents and both types of Cicin Mage. The Fatui have roots in all regions of Teyvat and they can be found practically anywhere within the distance of a stone’s throw. If you want to narrow down your search, use the Adventurer’s Handbook to find the exact locations of several Fatui groups around the world. You’ll need 18 Recruit Insignia, 30 Sergeant’s Insignia and 36 Lieutenant’s Insignia.

The Pseudo-Stamen item drops from the new Setekh Wenut World Boss. You’ll find this massive great worm in the Desert of Hadramaveth where it lurks in the sandy depths below the Wenut Tunnels. This boss is pretty easy to defeat, just keep an eye out for the Anemo attacks that it will throw at you if you cannot stun it in time using Elemental Reactions. You’ll be asked for a total of 46 Pseudo-Stamens to get Mika up to 90, which is at least 15 runs of the boss (or 600 Resin).

Lastly, we have the Elemental Gemstones. Without fail, every character in Genshin Impact needs a certain type of Elemental Gemstone which matches their Elemental affinity. Mika will need the Shivada Jade classification of Gemstones, the type required by any Cryo Vision user. These can most confidently be acquired from beating and claiming the rewards from Cyro-aligned World Bosses or Daily Commissions. In total, you need:

  • 1x Shivada Jade Sliver
  • 9x Shivada Jade Fragment
  • 9x Shivada Jade Chunk
  • 6x Shivada Jade Gemstone

Make sure to bring Mika 420k Mora and 416 Hero’s Wit EXP Books (or their equivalent) to complete the transformation. Mika’s Ascension stat is Bonus HP%, increasing to an additional 24% HP at level 90.

Mika Playstyle and Talent Overview

Mika Skills

Mika’s Normal Attack is Spear of Favonius – Arrow’s Passage. This is a 5 hit combo where Mika will perform up to 5 consecutive strikes using his crossbow and spear, giving him a little more range than some other characters. His Charged Attack causes Mika to lunge forward, consuming a set amount of Stamina to do so, and he has the standard Polearm Plunging Attack which deals AoE DMG. Aside from looking flashy, you likely won’t be engaging with Mika’s Normal Attacks all too much.

Normal Attack

Normal Attack

Next is Starfrost Swirl, Mika’s Elemental Skill. Mika will use his crossbow to attack, granting all characters in your party Soulwind, which increases ATK SPD based on Mika’s Talent level. This Skill has two different firing modes:

  • If you tap the button, Mika will fire a Flowfrost Arrow that can pierce through opponents, dealing Cryo DMG in the process.
  • If you hold the button, Mika will enter Aiming Mode, allowing him to lock onto a singular opponent and fire a Rimestar Flare. When this special arrow hits, it will rise before exploding, launching Rimestar Shards into a maximum of three additional enemies, dealing Cryo DMG in the process.

If you recast the Elemental Skill while a pre-existing Soulwind state is active, it will wipe all remaining time and begin anew.

Lastly is Skyfeather Song. This is Mika’s Elemental Burst and it is his main way of healing the team. Mika derives the ability to spur his teammates on from the recited prayers of the knightly order, healing nearby party members for a set amount based on Mika’s Max HP. In addition, Mika will grant the Eagleplume state to all party members. While under the Eagleplume effect, Normal Attacks will regenerate HP based on Mika’s maximum HP, allowing the active character to remain in top shape. This effect lasts for a duration of 15s.

Mika’s Passive Talents

Demarcation is Mika’s base Passive Talent. This is active as soon as you get him without needing to Ascend him, unlike his other Passive Talents. The Demarcation skill functions exactly like Klee’s All Of My Treasures! skill, allowing you to see the nearby location of any Mondstadt resources on the mini-map. This is a great way to make farming for characters much easier, especially if you didn’t already have Klee.

Up next is Suppressive Barrage which is Mika’s Ascension 2 Talent. When you gain the Soulwind effect by using Mika’s Elemental Skill, you will now also gain the Detector effect. This increases the Physical DMG of all party members by 10% per stack of Detector, which can have a total of 3 stacks for 30% extra Physical damage. There are multiple ways to gain Detector stacks based on how you use Mika’s Elemental Skill:

  • If the Flowfrost Arrow from tapping the button hits more than one opponent via pierce, each additional opponent hit will generate another Detector stack.
  • When a Rimestar Shard from Aiming Mode hits an opponent, it will generate 1 Detector Stack.

Finally, Topographical Mapping is Mika’s Ascension 4 Passive Talent. While the active character has both the Soulwind and Eagleplume effects active at one time (meaning that you have to use both Mika’s Skill and Burst) they will generate a stack of Detector upon scoring a CRIT Hit. In addition, the maximum number of stacks that can be gained through Soulwind is increased from 3 to 4, allowing for a 40% Physical DMG Bonus should you gain the maximum number of stacks.

Mika’s Constellations

As a 4-Star character, Mika’s Constellations are far easier to earn than those of a 5-Star character. His Constellation is the Palumbus and it mainly increases Mika’s ability to heal his allies, with some other supportive bonuses thrown in for good measure.

  • Factor Confluence (C1): The Soulwind state of Starfrost Swirl can decrease the healing interval between instances caused by Skyfeather Song’s Eagleplume state. This decrease percentage is equal to the ATK SPD increase provided by Soulwind.
  • Companion’s Ingress (C2): When Starfrost Swirl’s Flowfrost Arrow first hits an opponent, or its Rimestar Flare hits an opponent, 1 Detector stack from Suppressive Barrage will be generated.
  • Sunfrost Encomium (C4): When Mika’s own Skyfeather Song’s Eagleplume state heals party members, this will restore 3 Energy to Mika. This form of Energy restoration can occur 5 times during the Eagleplume state created by 1 use of Skyfeather Song.
  • Companion’s Counsel (C6): The maximum number of Detector stacks that Starfrost Swirl’s Soulwind can gain is increased by 1. Additionally, active characters affected by Soulwind will deal 60% more Physical CRIT DMG.

Mika’s C3 (Reconnaissance Experience) and C5 (Signal Arrow) simply increase the Talent Level of his Elemental Burst and Elemental Skill, respectively. While all of his Constellations are useful, Mika’s C6 is of particular importance: getting Companion’s Counsel would be a massive boon to any Physical DMG character, as it would allow 5 Stacks of Detector and a massive bonus to CRIT DMG simply for having the Soulwind effect. This is an incredibly strong bonus and should be the focus if you want to run Mika in Eula or Razor team compositions.

Talent Priority Order

The following section will discuss what order you should prioritise Mika’s Talents. Increasing the level of an associated Talent will increase the multipliers and stats of that specific skill: for example, in Mika’s case, increasing the level of his Elemental Burst will increase the amount of healing he can do based on his Max HP.

To level up Mika’s Talents, you’ll need the following Talent materials:

  • Teachings/Guides/Philosophies of Ballad (Mondstadt Talent Book, available on Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday)
  • Recruits Insignia (Enemy Drop)
  • Mirror of Mushin Weekly Boss Material from the Puppet Scaramouche Boss Fight

Starfrost Swirl

Mika’s Elemental Skill is the foundation for a lot of his supportive capabilities and the primary reason you’ll have him in your team: there are plenty of other Cryo healers, but only Mika can trigger the Soulwind effect. Not only does Starfrost Swirl have a place as a source of Cryo DMG for Reactions like Freeze, but it has multiple different ways to use it depending on the composition of the battle and provides buffs that can make select characters extremely strong.

Pairing the Skill with Mika’s Ascension 2 Talent, Suppressive Barrage turns him into an incredible source of buffs for Physical DPS characters. For Eula or Razor, having Mika active and using his Elemental Skill means that they’ll be dealing up to 50% more Physical DMG as well as being able to attack at a faster rate thanks to the ATK SPD buff he provides. These buffs are easy to trigger and can be used in either Aiming Mode or instantly depending on how many enemies are nearby: this Skill has an absurd level of utility in the right team compositions.

Investing in Starfrost Swirl will raise a multitude of different things. It will increase the damage of all aspects of the Skill, of course, but it will also increase how much ATK SPD Bonus is granted (upwards of 25% at higher Talent levels). Alongside the Physical DMG buff, this ATK SPD boost is going to be the main thing that sets Mika apart. Having more of it and allowing heavier, slower characters like those mentioned above to deal damage at a faster rate is invaluable.

The primary downside to this Elemental Skill over Mika’s Burst is that it is rather limiting. Only a small handful of characters are going to truly benefit from the Physical ATK Bonus and, while the ATK SPD bonus is nice, there are other, easier ways to trigger similar effects on characters reliant on Elemental DMG. However, that is a small hurdle in the face of everything else this Elemental Skill provides and prioritising it will vastly increase the potential of not only your Mika but whoever you pair him with as well.

A Cold Glare

A Cold Glare

Skyfeather Song

Compared to Starfrost Swirl, Skyfeather Song is far more typical of what you’d expect from a supportive healer character and it is a very useful skill. The healing from triggering the skill is already very nice. If you’re stacking HP on Mika, you’ll be getting a good amount of instant healing for those down-to-the-wire moments. This is where you’ll likely see the most impact from investing in the skill, with that instant healing increasing from 12% of Mika’s Max HP + 1172 HP up to 21.9% + 2783 at Talent level 10.

In addition to this, investing in the Burst will also dramatically increase the amount of healing you get from landing Normal Attacks. The best way to think of this is that it will work similarly to Qiqi’s Talismans, allowing you a great amount of healing over time without needing to have a Skill or Burst active. Said healing is very reliable and is sure to keep squishier frontline characters alive, especially if you plan on using the Burst in tandem with Mika’s Elemental Skill.

There are two main reasons why you shouldn’t level Skyfeather Song as your number 1 priority. The first is that Cryo is a category oversaturated by healers – Qiqi, Diona, Layla and now Mika – and if you want pure healing over anything else Mika offers, you have much better and more reliable options. The second is that the returns you’ll get from Elemental Skill massively outweigh those provided by the Burst: the former allows you so much more flexibility and freedom, while the latter is simply more healing.

Skyfeather Song shouldn’t be ignored, especially if you plan on running Mika as your only healer. However, it should take less priority than Starfrost Swirl due to how focused it is on just healing.

Just a Little Lost

Just a Little Lost

Spear of Favonus – Arrow’s Passage

There honestly isn’t much to go over with Mika’s Normal Attack.

Mika is a pure supportive unit, not one that will reliably get off massive amounts of damage. He heals, he buffs the heavy hitters in your team and then he gets off the field. Even if he was going to serve as a sub-DPS, Mika certainly wouldn’t be getting most of his damage from his Normal Attacks: the different effects from his Elemental Skill serve far more value in increasing his damage potential than any investment in his Normal Attacks.

Simply put, Mika’s Normal Attack is pretty useless. It looks flashy and the animation is nice but in terms of utility and how often you’ll be using it, the Normal Attacks aren’t worth investing in at all. Nothing in his kit revolves around Normal Attacks aside from the healing of his Burst (which, even then, is factored based on the Talent Level of the Burst, not the Normals). Only focus on this if you want to triple-crown Mika.

Mika’s Best Weapons

The Ideal Choice

The best choice in terms of weapons for Mika is a little odd. Due to how he plays and what stats he relies on – mainly HP for improving his abilities directly and Energy Recharge to get his Burst back as quickly as possible – there are very few weapons that fit his niche. As such, the best option, if you want to improve Mika’s viability, is going to be the Engulfing Lightning. This is a 5-Star Polearm that can be acquired from the Weapon Event Wish whenever the Raiden Shogun is running (as this is her signature weapon). What may, at first, seem like an odd choice for Mika is actually a very good tool that increases multiple areas of his kit.

At level 90, Engulfing Lightning will have a Base ATK stat of 608 and an Energy Recharge substat of 55%. The main weapon skill is Timeless Dream: Eternal Stove. For every point of Energy Recharge past 100%, the equipped character’s ATK is increased by 28%. You also gain 30% additional Energy Recharge for 12s upon using your Elemental Burst.

The reason why Engulfing Lightning is so good on Mika mainly comes down to how many stats and bonuses it provides. While it doesn’t directly increase his Max HP, it does increase how much healing you’ll be able to output thanks to the large amounts of Energy Recharge it grants. You’ll be using your Burst to quickly heal any weak teammates and so the extra 30% ER from the second half of Timeless Dream: Eternal Stove is going to come in very handy. Additionally, while you likely won’t see a lot of return on the ATK bonuses of the weapon, it is never bad to have more ATK (especially if Mika can play into your team via Reactions like Freeze or Superconduct).

If you happen to have the Engulfing Lightning and are happy to take it off your Raiden Shogun, consider giving it a spin on Mika. You may end up pleasantly surprised.

Engulfing Lightning

Engulfing Lightning

Replacement Options

But what if you don’t have Engulfing Lighting? In fact, what if you don’t have any 5-Star Polearms? Are you doomed? Fear not! There are still a lot of good options that either improve Mika’s healing, his Energy Recharge rate or some other important aspect of his kit.

Before we go any further, it should be noted that the only weapons we’ll be recommending are 4-Star in rarity. While options such as the Skyward Spine or the Staff of Homa maybe even better, 4-Star weapons are far easier to come by for the majority of players. If you happen to have a 5-Star Polearm, try it out on Mika before committing to a lesser rarity option as most 5-Star weapons will (on average) be better than their lesser counterparts.

With that being said, the best replacement options for Mika are the Favonius Lance, Royal Spear and the Black Tassel.

The Favonius Lance

The Favonius Lance

Perhaps unsurprisingly for a Knight of Favonius, the Favonius Lance is an excellent alternative to Engulfing Lightning that you can get from the gacha. The Favonius has a Base ATK of 565 and an Energy Recharge substat sitting pretty at 30%. The weapon skill is titled Windfall as it gives CRIT Hits a 60% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, each of which regenerates 6 Energy for the character. Considering that CRIT Rate is an important stat for Mika (in that having higher CRIT means that he can reliably trigger his A4 Passive) the Favonius fits nicely into his build and kit. You’ll be getting a lot of Energy to keep your Burst uptime high and you’ll be benefitting from each of these CRITs by generating Detector stacks, as well. Overall, a good weapon that is easy to obtain and perfect for Mika.

Next up is the Royal Spear. This weapon can be obtained from the Star Glitter Shop and it has a Base ATK of 564 with a Bonus ATK stat of 27%. The main reason to use the Royal Spear is the weapon skill Affix Progression which increases CRIT Rate by 8% upon damaging an enemy. This has a max of 5 stacks and a CRIT Hit removes all stacks. As we previously highlighted, CRIT Rate is a surprisingly important part of making Mika more consistent with certain parts of his Passive Talents, so having a weapon dedicated to raising that CRIT Rate is never going to be a terrible idea.

Lastly, we have the Black Tassel. This is a 3-Star weapon that you can acquire from Wishing, but it is one of the only weapons that can directly benefit Mika’s healing. Starting with the bad, the Black Tassel has very low base ATK and borderline useless weapon skill, with Bane of the Soft only boosting the damage against Slimes. These negatives are offset by the great substat, though, which is 46% HP. Considering that HP is arguably Mika’s best stat if you want him to be healing as much as he can, dedicating an entire weapon slot to massively boost his HP is a great trade-off. This will push Mika into being pure support, so be cautious of that if you plan on using the Black Tassel.

Best Artifacts for Mika

In terms of what you want for Mika’s artifacts, there are a few routes to take depending on what you want him to do. One set will add another arrow to his quiver, granting him yet another way to support the team using his Elemental Burst. The other will increase the potential and potency of his already existing kit, granting him more healing and quicker Elemental Bursts. Both of these Mika builds focus heavily on his supportive capabilities.

The first recommended set is going to be 4-Piece Noblesse Oblige. This set is already very good on any character with a focus on Elemental Bursts, but it is very good on Mika for a different reason. To start, the 2-Piece bonus is actually useless on him: his Burst doesn’t do any damage, so the 20% Elemental Burst DMG effect won’t do anything. However, the 4-Piece bonus makes it so that using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This set gives Mika another avenue for buffing: not only can he increase ATK SPD and Physical DMG and he can heal, but with this set, he can also increase ATK directly.

The other option is going for a hybrid set of 2-Piece Tenacity of the Millelith and 2-Piece Emblem of Severed Fate. These two bonuses work in tandem to boost Mika’s healing potential drastically, allowing you to heal more and at a higher frequency. With both of these sets active, you’ll be getting a 20% HP and 20% Energy Recharge bonus (from Tenacity and Emblem, respectively). The increase in Mika’s HP gives him a more direct healing when it comes to calculating multipliers, whereas the increase to Energy Recharge will let him get his Burst back at a much quicker rate.

Out of the recommended artifact sets, 4-Piece Noblesse Oblige is likely going to be the better option for most compositions. Mika already heals a lot and, if you have the right weapon and team composition, should have his Burst back fairly often. This opens the door for that additional ATK buff, elevating Mika’s support status even further. However, if you find yourself out of healing too often or want to be more secure in using Mika, choose the hybrid set to have more consistent uptime and potency on Mika’s Burst.

There is also the 4-Piece Ocean-Hued Clam set which would dramatically increase Mika’s healing, while also giving him a slight damage boost. However, considering that Mika isn’t really built as a sub-DPS and his healing is tied to his Burst, we would still recommend either of the other recommended sets instead.

Best Main and Substats

Here are the main stats you’ll be looking for on Mika’s artifacts. No matter which Mika build you’re running or what kind of weapons you have on him, these stats will remain consistent between all forms of Mika:

  • Hourglass (or Sands): Energy Recharge
  • Goblet: HP
  • Circlet (or Hat): HP or CRIT Rate

Additionally, here are the recommended substats for Mika’s artifacts:

  • HP
  • Energy Recharge
  • CRIT Rate
Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland

The stats which govern how Mika plays the most are his HP and his Energy Recharge, as we have mentioned elsewhere in this guide. They both directly impact how much healing he can output with his Burst, with the former allowing him to do better healing numbers and the latter letting him heal at a higher rate. The one you deem as more important will come down to what weapons and team compositions you’re running (a team consisting of 2 Electro characters will have better Energy Recharge rates, for example) but these are the two most important stats to consider when building Mika’s artifacts.

Out of the two, I would lean towards prioritising Energy Recharge. Mika already gets extra HP from his Ascension Stat and HP is much easier to come by than ER. Additionally, having your Burst more often has more benefits than just having access to constant healing: with high uptime on your Burst, you also get to use the A4 Passive Talent more often and, if you’re using Noblesse Oblige, you get the ATK bonuses more often as well. HP is always going to remain an important pillar of Mika’s playstyle, but consider looking at Energy Recharge a bit more closely.

Finally, CRIT Rate is an odd choice but one that you may want to consider depending on how well-built your other characters are. As we previously discussed, Mika’s A4 Talent allows you to generate a stack of Detector upon landing a CRIT Hit while you have both the Soulwind and Eagleplume effects active. This can be activated by other characters, but if you have the time and a high enough CRIT Rate, Mika could generate this additional stack all on his own and give you even more damage going into your Physical DPS. This suggestion is far more situational, though.

Best Mika Teams

Eula Physical DPS Team

This team composition consists of Mika, Eula, Raiden Shogun and Shenhe

As inarguably the best Physical DPS in the entire game, this team revolves around Eula as the main DPS carry, with all other members of the team chipping in to aid her. In some way shape or form, each one of these characters has a role to play in maximising how much damage Eula can deal by either buffing her damage or debuffing the enemies.

Mika’s role is the former. With his Elemental Skill and ability to buff Physical DMG via Detector stacks, he serves a pivotal role in helping Eula ascend to higher heights of damage. Mika lets Eula hit harder, high faster and keeps the entire team alive while he’s at it. Additionally, just having the two of them together lets the entire team access the Cryo Resonance effect, which increases the CRIT rate against any Frozen or Cryo-affected target by 15%: a massive boon for Eula and Mika.

The Raiden Shogun is an interesting addition to this team, serving as both a sub-DPS and a battery. Her Elemental Skill and Burst are already excellent sources of damage on their own, allowing her to keep up with Eula if you ever need anything other than Physical DPS. In addition to that great damage, though, is the fact that Shogun’s Skill works even while she is off-field and will allow you to trigger Superconduct near constantly. This Elemental Reaction specifically lowers the opponents’ Physical RES, letting Eula hit them for even more damage. If that wasn’t all, Shogun all generates tons of Elemental Energy, letting Mika, Shenhe and Eula all get their Bursts back insanely fast.

Last but certainly not least is Shenhe. She plays a similar role to Mika by helping buff Eula’s damage output. The way she does this is through her Elemental Burst and the continuous appliance of Cryo to spawn Superconduct Reactions. When cast, Shenhe’s Burst lowers nearby the Cryo and Physical RES of any nearby opponents, buffing every single aspect of Eula’s kit. Paired with the direct Physical DMG bonuses from Mika and this team can shred enemies and keep them locked down for long periods.

Eula Physical DPS Team

Eula Physical DPS Team

Razor Physical DPS Team

This team composition consists of Mika, Razor, Fischl and Shenhe.

The other character who primarily uses Physical DMG is the one and only Razor. While lacking in as much direct firepower as Eula, Razor does offer some other unique benefits and abilities thanks to his Elemental affinity and kit. In particular, as an Electro unit, he can trigger his own Superconduct Reactions by only relying on Mika, letting him be far more consistent without needing to switch out. He has great damage and a really fun kit, too.

Mika and Shenhe will both effectively play the same roles that they had in the Eula Physical DPS Team. Mika’s Elemental Skill will buff Razor’s ATK SPD and Physical DMG using Detector stacks, letting him shred through any enemies using Superconduct and his powerful Burst. Meanwhile, Shenhe’s Burst will lower the Physical RES of any enemies on the field, softening them up for Razor to tear through them.

Fischl is the last character on this team and she serves as a battery for the team. Mika, Razor and Shenhe all rely on their Bursts for various reasons and Fischl is a superb battery for them. She can generate a lot of energy from off-field using her Elemental Skill and her Electro Vision allows her to work with Razor to generate the Electro Resonance effect for even more energy. Fischl just works as the best energy support for this team, keeping everyone topped up and ready to go.

Razor Physical DPS Team

Razor Physical DPS Team

F2P Budget Team

This team composition consists of Mika, Fischl, Kaeya and Lisa.

Compared to the powerhouses of Eula and Razor, this team is lacking in the direct damage of the other two teams. However, it can certainly still get the job done, especially with Mika to help lend a hand. For this setup, he’ll be doing exactly what he does best: using his Skill to buff Physical DMG and ATK SPD, and then using his Burst whenever things get hairy.

Our main DPS in this team will be Kaeya. Despite being a Cryo character, he has surprisingly good multipliers for his Normal Attacks, allowing him to act as a strong stand-in for a Physical DPS. Paired with his ability to instantly and easily apply Superconudct when paired with either Lisa or Fischl, Kaeya more than fulfils his role as the main DPS.

Fischl once again picks up the mantle of energy battery, using Oz and her Elemental Skill to spawn tons of Energy from off-field. Lisa is our final unit and she acts as somewhat of a sub-DPS while still serving as a debuffer. In particular, her Elemental Burst can lower enemy DEF, letting Kaeya hit them much harder, especially when that DEF reduction is paired with the bonuses from Mika.
