Genshin Impact Best Clorinde Build Guide | Best Weapons, Artifacts, Teams

Learn how to make the best Clorinde build in Genshin Impact with this easy to follow guide that goes into Clorinde's best artifacts, teams, weapons, and more. Clorinde is the Champion Duelist of Fontaine and deadly with both blade and bullet, and she's finally playable as of Genshin Impact Version 4.7 where she debuts as a brand new 5-star Electro Sword unit.

Genshin Impact Best Clorinde Build Guide | Best Weapons, Artifacts, TeamsAfter appearing in almost every major Fontaine story arch and having played a pivotal role in the conclusion of the Fontaine Archon Quest, Travelers will finally get to add Clorinde, the Champion Duelist, to their roster of playable characters once Genshin Impact Version 4.7 launches. Clorinde may appear distant and unwelcoming in her position as one of Fontaine’s staunchest defenders, but her charming interactions with Navia and Wriothesley in future quests and events have helped showcase a lot more of her depth as a character.

In terms of how she performs in combat, Clorinde is a new 5-star Electro Sword unit and the second to have the unique Bond of Life mechanic rolled into her kit. With some amazing animations and the ability to change between two styles of close-ranged combat – one with her trusty rapier and one with a barrage of her dual pistols – Clorinde is looking like a fun mix-up for those looking to get back into Electro.

Here’s how to make the best Clorinde build in Genshin Impact so that you can embody the fierceness of Fontaine’s Champion Duelist as either a whale or F2P. This guide will include a deep dive into Clorinde’s kit and her unique Bond of Life mechanic, what kind of weapons and artifacts you should run on her, and what team compositions she works best in.

Clorinde Release Date and Banner Availability

Firstly, let’s start by discussing when Clordine will be available to summon and how long her initial run will last in Genshin Impact. Clorinde’s first banner will be available during phase 1 of Version 4.7, where she, alongside the ever-studious Alhaitham, will act as the two featured 5-stars.

Clorinde’s Character Event Wish, “Illuminating Lightning”, will begin once Version 4.7 launches on June 5th 2024 and will persist until Phase 2 begins on the 25th of June 2024. While Clorinde’s banner is active, any 5-star you pull on that banner has a 50% chance of being “Candlebearer, Shadowhunter” Clorinde. Additionally, both banners in Phase 1 will feature three 4-stars on rate-up, namely Bennett, Thoma, and the newly added Sethos.

Once Phase 2 of Version 4.7 begins and Clorinde’s banner reaches its conclusion, you will no longer be able to summon Clorinde as she is a limited unit. Instead, you’ll need to wait until “Illuminating Lightning” comes back in the future for a rerun, although the exact specifics of when that will happen cannot be properly predicted. If you really want Clorinde on your team and don’t want to wait for her rerun, snagging on her on this initial pass is your best bet.

Clorinde Materials

If you want to be able to fully level all of Clorinde’s Talents and unlock all of her powerful passive abilities, you’ll need to Ascend her to level 80. To that end, here is the list of materials and resources you’ll need to gather to ascend Clorinde in Genshin Impact

  • Lumitoile x168 (Fontaine Local Speciality)
  • Transoceanic Pearl x18 / Transoceanic Chunk x30 / Xenochromatic Crystal x36 (Enemy Drops)
  • Fontemer Unihorn (World Boss Material)
  • Vajrada Amethyst Sliver / Vajrada Amethyst Fragment x9 / Vajrada Amethyst Chunk x9 / Vajrada Amethyst Gemstone x6 (Elemental Gemstones)
  • 420k Mora + 416 Hero’s Wit EXP Books

If you previously farmed for the Iudex of Fontaine’s Ascension Materials, this list will look quite familiar to you. Lumitoile are the colourful blue starfish which dwell deep within Fontaine’s northern waters. These little suckers like to hide everywhere, including the bits of machinery which jut out from the Fortress of Meropide. Searching the depths can be tricky, though, so you can either use the Teyvat Interactive Map to track down their precise locations or use Clorinde’s own Passive Talent to highlight their locations on the mini-map.

Although her main duty is to fell evil-doers in the Court of Justice, Clorinde will need to venture out into the wilds and deal with some Fontemer Abberants if she wishes to reach her maximum potential. Fontemer Abberants come in all shapes and sizes, from crabs and seahorses to octopi and blubberbeasts, and they usually dwell on the coastline or in the oceanic waters. The best way to keep track of these fellas is to use the Advenurer’s Handbook, which will guide you to packs of them all across Fontaine.

Another material Clorinde shares with Neuvillette is her required boss drop, the Fontemer Unihorn, which comes from Millennial Pearl Seahorse. This giant Fontemer Abberant nests in the upper reaches of Fontaine and will defend itself with a sturdy shield of Electro Energy which you must break to stun the creature. To obtain all 46 of the necessary drops, you’ll need to spend at least 600 Resin.

Genshin Impact Clorinde Kit Overview

Normal Attack: Oath of Hunting Shadows

When it comes to combat, Clorinde’s first major ability is her Normal Attack, Oath of Hunting Shadows. Clorinde can perform up to 5 rapid strikes with her blade, whereas a Charged Attack will cause her to consume a small amount of stamina to unleash a fan pattern with her pistol.

While incredibly flashy, you likely won’t be seeing much use out of Clorinde’s Normal Attacks. As we’ll discuss shortly, her Normal Attacks will be overridden by her Skill, the core of her entire kit, meaning that you won’t be using them that much.

Clorinde Normal Attacks

Clorinde Normal Attacks

Elemental Skill: Hunter’s Vigil

Clorinde’s Elemental Skill, Hunter’s Vigil, is likely the most important ability in her entire arsenal and her main tool for dispatching foes all across Teyvat. This Skill has several layers, beginning with the fact that it causes Clorind to enter the Night Vigil state. This transforms Clorinde’s Normal Attacks into Swift Hunt pistol attacks, whereas casting her Skill again during the Night Vigil state will cause her to perform an Impale the Night sword strike. Night Vigil persists for 7.5s.

Her Swift Hunt attacks will deal unoverrideable Electro DMG and build up a Bond of Life if Clorinde has a Bond of Life lower than 100% of her Maximum HP. Shots fired while building up her BoL will peirce enemies, dealing increased damage to any opponents in their path. Meanwhile, casting Impale the Night will perform a different attack depending on how high Clorinde’s Bond of Life is:

  • When her Bond of Life value is 0%, Clorinde performs a normal lunging strike.
  • When her Bond of Life value is less than 100% of her maximum HP, Clorinde performs an empowered lunging attack with increased damage and a larger AoE. This attack also heals her based on her Bond of Life value.
  • When her Bond of Life value is equal to or greater than 100% of her maximum HP, Clorinde will cast Impale the Night: Pact, which has massively increased healing and damage compared to the ordinary Impale the Night variant.
Dark Vigil State

Dark Vigil State

Furthermore, any healing effects other than Impale the Night will not occur while Clorinde is in the Night Vigil state. Instead, they will be converted into a Bond of Life based on a percentage of the healing she would have received.

Hunter’s Vigil is where the majority of Clorinde’s power and style comes from. You’ll want to build up your Bond of Life with your enhanced pistol attacks before dishing out quick, meaty chunks of damage with Impale the Night. While her multipliers aren’t the highest, the sheer speed at which she can deal damage is incredibly high, allowing her to remain competitive and viable, especially if you can reliably hit a Bond of Life which equals 100% of her maximum HP.

Impale the Night

Impale the Night

Elemental Burst: Last Lightfall

The last major element of Clorinde’s kit is her Burst, Last Lightfall, which is both an excellent source of damage and a great utility tool for building on Clorinde’s main niche. When cast, Last Lightfall has Clorinde swiftly evade any oncoming attacks before delivering a powerful series of blows with her sidearm and sabre at once. Additionally, upon casting, Clorinde will generate a Bond of Life for herself based on her own max HP.

Clorinde’s Burst is an excellent way to either deal an instantaneous chunk of great damage or better prepare you for entering the Night Vigil state. In particular, the ability to instantly spawn a Bond of Life will make reaching the upper echelons of the Swift Hunt and Impale the Night attacks a lot more attainable.

Clorinde’s Passive Talents

Like all Genshin Impact characters, Clorinde also has several Passive Talents which aid her both on and off the battlefield. Her first Passive Talent, Night Vigil’s Harvest, is available as soon as you pull her and allows Clorinde to mark Fontaine Local Specialities on the mini-map. This is the same Passive effect as Lyney and will make hunting down Fontaine’s bountiful resources a much less strenuous process.

Next is her Character Ascension 2 Talent, Dark-Shattering Flame. After a party member causes an Electro-related reaction against an opponent, the Electro DMG dealt by Clorinde’s Normal Attacks (Swift Hunt) and Last Lightfall will increase by 20% of Clorinde’s ATK for 15s. This has a maximum of 3 stacks. This Talent incentivizes running Clorinde with potent off-fielders who can either trigger reactions off her attacks or can produce their own reactions without needing to be on the field. You want Clorinde to have as much screentime as possible so off-field sub-DPS or those great at off-field application are some of her best teammates, especially with this Talent in mind.

Lastly, her Ascension 4 Talent, Lawful Remuneration, is extremely potent. If Clorinde’s Bond of Life equals or exceeds 100% of her maximum HP, her CRIT Rate will increase by 10% for 15s, a maximum of 2 stacks. Furthermore, the percentage of outside healing which gets converted to a Bond of Life while Clorinde is in the Night Vigil is increased to 100%. Between this and the increased damage of Impale the Night: Pact, you really want to build up as much Bond of Life as possible as quickly as you can.

Overall, Clorinde’s Passive Talents mainly serve to increase her damage potential or boost her ease of use when it comes to her Bond of Life effect. They also promote certain play styles or incentivize using specific teammates to get the most out of Clorinde, narrowing her focus and making her best pairings a lot clearer. When played around these limitations, Clorinde can become a truly potent main DPS in Genshin Impact

Clorinde Talent Priority Order

  1. Hunter’s Vigil (Elemental Skill)
  2. Last Lightfall (Elemental Burst)
  3. Oath of Hunting Shadows (Normal Attack)

As we mentioned above, Clorinde’s single most defining ability is her Elemental Skill: without it, she’s just got some fancy swordplay and a Bond of Life mechanic which does… well, nothing. Increasing the level of Hunter’s Vigil directly increases the damage of both her Swift Hunt pistol shots and her Imaple the Night sword strikes, which you’ll want to do seeing as both of them have relatively low multipliers when compared to other main DPS in Genshin Impact. Either way, though, you’ll be spending most of your time as Clorinde in the Night Vigil state so ensure that it’s the best it can possibly be

After her Skill, you should focus on levelling her Burst. Levelling up Last Lightfall will not only boost the ability’s damage but also how much Bond of Life it grants Clorinde, up to a maximum of 120% of her Max HP at Talent Level 10. Getting to this point will ensure that you can reliably trigger her Ascension 4 Talent – netting you 10% or 20% free CRIT Rate – and get off a ton of powerful enhanced Imaple the Night attacks without much worry.

Finally, there are her Normal Attacks, which aren’t worth raising compared to her Skill or Burst. Any time Clorinde spends on the field will be in the Night Vigil state, which overrides her Normal Attacks, and even if it’s on cooldown, you’ll likely just want to reactivate your off-fielders and buffers. As such, don’t worry about levelling up her Normal Attacks as they won’t see a ton of use, at least not compared to her other abilities.

All Clorinde Constellations in Genshin Impact

Get lucky enough to pull multiple copies of Clorinde in Genshin Impact and you’ll obtain her Stella Fortuna, which can be used to unlock powerful Constellations that drastically improve Clorinde’s kit. Seeing as Clorinde is a limited unit, her Constellations will be very rare and valuable as you’ll only be able to obtain them while her banner is currently running.

  1. “From This Day, I Pass the Candle’s Shadow Veil”: While Hunter’s Vigil’s Night Vigil state is active, when Electro DMG from Clorinde’s Normal Attacks hit opponents, they will trigger 2 coordinated attacks from a Nightvigil Shade summoned near the hit opponent, each dealing 30% of Clorinde’s ATK as Electro DMG. This effect can occur once every 1.2s and DMG dealt this way is considered Normal Attack DMG.
  2. “Now, As We Face the Perils of the Long Night”: Enhances the Passive Talent Dark-Shattering Flame by increasing the bonus damage from 20% of Clorinde’s ATK to 30% of Clorinde’s ATK. Additionally, when you have 3 stacks, Clorinde’s interruption resistance is increased.
  3. “I Pledge to Remember the Oath of Daylight”: Increases the level of Hunter’s Vigil by 3.
  4. “To Enshrine Tears, Life, and Love”: When Last Lightfall deals DMG to opponents, DMG dealt is increased based on Clorinde’s Bond of Life percentage. Every 1% of her current Bond of Life will increase Last Lightfall DMG by 2%. The maximum Last Lightfall DMG increase achievable this way is 200%.
  5. “Holding Dawn’s Coming as My Votive”: Increases the level of Last Lightfall by 3.
  6. “And So I Shall Never Despair”: For 12s after Hunter’s Vigil is used, Clorinde’s CRIT Rate will be increased by 10%, and her CRIT DMG by 70%. Additionally, while Night Vigil is active, a Glimbright Shade will appear whenever Clorinde is about to be hit by an attack or when she uses Impale the Night: Pact, executing an attack that deals 200% of Clorinde’s ATK as Electro DMG. DMG dealt this way is considered Normal Attack DMG. 1 Glimbright Shade can be summoned in the aforementioned ways every 1s and 6 Shades can be summoned per single Night Vigil duration.

Clorinde’s C6 is, obviously, stupidly powerful, but if you’re a low-spender looking to see if Clorinde’s lower Constellations are worth chasing, you need to know that her C1 is very good. It’s basically extra damage for doing nothing new, increasing her damage potential considerably without needing any extra work or new rotations.

What are Clorinde’s Best Weapons in Genshin Impact?

Clorinde’s Best in Slot Weapon: Absolution

Without question, Clorinde’s best weapon in Genshin Impact is her signature weapon, the 5-star Sword Absolution. This is a new limited 5-star weapon introduced in Version 4.7, one which you can acquire by pulling on the Weapon Event Wish while Clorinde’s “Illuminating Lightning” Wish is still ongoing. Compared to some recent 5-star weapons, Absolution’s effect is simple, clean, and very effective, especially for someone who relies on a Bond of Life like Clorinde.

At level 80, Absolution will provide the wielder with 674 ATK as well as 44.1% CRIT DMG. The weapon’s main effect, Deathly Pact, will increase the wielder’s CRIT DMG by a further 20%. Furthermore, Deathly Pact will also increase the damage the character deals by 16% for 6s whenever they increase their Bond of Life value, with a maximum of 3 stacks.

As we just said, Absolution’s effect is far simpler than most of the recent 5-star offerings. The huge ATK and CRIT DMG stat bonuses are reason enough to put this weapon on a Crit scaler like Clorinde. Meanwhile, the DMG bonus is super easy to trigger thanks to how often Clorinde can raise her Bond of Life via her Skill’s transformed Normal Attacks. Simply put, it’s just an excellent weapon which rewards you with higher, more consistent damage without requiring any extra effort.

Recommended 4-Star Weapons for Clorinde

Of course, seeing as Absolution is a limited 5-star weapon, a lot of Clorinde-havers will be Absolution-less, meaning that they’ll need to turn to other options to outfit their shiny new main DPS. Fortunately, Clorinde has a wide variety of powerful options thanks to being an ATK and CRIT scaler.

Before we proceed, though, we do need to mention that we’ll be omitting any 5-star options from this list. Not because they’re bad but because they’re rare: 4-stars are far more attainable, at least on the whole. Having said that, if you have a spare Mistsplitter or Light of Foliar Incision, be sure to give them a spin first to make sure you’re not missing out on anything.

With that said, the best 4-star weapons for Clorinde in Genshin Impact are the Finale of the Deep, Wolf-Fang, and Iron Sting.

Finale of the Deep

Finale of the Deep

Finale of the Deep is the forgeable 4-star Sword from Fontaine and you can purchase the blueprint of it from the Fontaine Smithy. The reason why it excels on Clorinde is that it provides you with an ATK bonus as well as a Bond of Life worth 25% of your max HP whenever you trigger your Elemental Skill. For Clorinde, this is excellent, allowing you to gain a potent damage bonus while more easily building up to a Bond of Life value worth 100% of Clorinde’s HP. In fact, Finale of the Deep acts kind of like a 4-star variant of her signature weapon, only without the potent CRIT DMG bonuses.

Another forgeable weapon you may want to consider using on Clorinde is the ever-reliable Iron Sting. The main benefit of Iron Sting is that its effect is easy and efficient, increasing all DMG dealt by 6% whenever you deal Elemental DMG. Clorinde’s Wild Hunt pistol shots deal Electro DMG so this effect on Clorinde has very high uptime. Additionally, thanks to its high Elemental Mastery substat, Clorinde will see a significant increase in all of her reaction damage.

Lastly, you could also use the Wolf-Fang 4-star Sword on Clorinde if you wanted a bit more CRIT. Wolf-Fang is available from hitting level 30 on the Battlepass and it provides several ways to obtain substantial amounts of CRIT Rate. For one, its main effect simply increases the damage dealt by the wearer’s Elemental Skill and Burst, both of which Clorinde can benefit substantially from. Secondly, it will also increase the CRIT Rate of your Skill and Burst each time you land an attack from either, allowing Clorinde’s Skill, in particular, to reach very high and consistent CRIT DMG levels.

What are Clorinde’s Best Artifact Sets in Genshin Impact?

There’s one clear frontrunner for Clorinde’s best artifact set in Genshin Impact and that’s the newly introduced Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy set. This artifact set arrived in Version 4.6 as a way to improve Bond of Life effects, like those seen on Arlecchino and now Clorinde.

With 2 pieces of Harmonic Whimsy equipped, the wearer will receive +18% ATK, a great additional stat package for any ATK scaler, including Clorinde. Meanwhile, with 4 pieces equipped, the character will deal 18% increased DMG for 6s whenever their Bond of Life value increases or decreases. That latter effect has a maximum of 3 stacks, meaning that it works similarly to the effect on Absolution.

Harmonic Whimsy is yet another way to reward Clorinde’s quick playstyle with higher damage values. Her Skill means that you’ll be constantly gaining and consuming her Bond of Life, especially if you’re also using her Burst or a weapon like the Finale, so getting those 3 stacks will be no issue. As such, you’ll almost always have very high damage and a constant buff which will be hard to get rid of. Like most of Clorinde’s effects and buffs, this is a boon you can earn easily and with very little effort.

Harmonic Whimsy Artifact Set

Harmonic Whimsy Artifact Set

However, if you’re looking for a different artifact set to put on Clorinde and don’t want to rely on the Bond of Life mechanic, you could go with the 4-piece Thundering Fury. This was one of the original artifact sets added with Version 1.0 of Genshin Impact and it primarily buffs Electro-based damage and Elemental Reactions, something Clorinde can very easily trigger and benefit from.

With 2 pieces equipped, Thundering Fury boosts the wearer’s Electro DMG Bonus by 15%. Then, with 4 pieces equipped, it will increase the damage dealt by all Electro-based reactions, with Overload, Electro-Charged, Superconduct, and Hyperbloom damage increasing by 40% and Aggravate damage increasing by 20%. Furthermore, whenever one of the aforementioned reactions is triggered, the wearer’s Elemental Skill CD is reduced by 1s.

Not only is the extra Electro DMG really nice for Clorinde seeing as her Skill overrides her attacks with Electro, but the bonus Reaction damage is also superb. In particular, the ability to lower the cooldown on Clorinde’s Hunter’s Vigil is superb as the Night Vigil state only lasts for 7.5s, half of the time it takes for her Skill to come off cooldown: if you’re able to prock a high amount of Electro Reactions in that period, you can drastically cut down on how long Clorinde is out of Night Vigil.

Most Important Stats for Clorinde

Alongside compatible artifact sets, you’ll also need to find artifacts with the right main and substats for Clorinde. As a main DPS, most of your focus should be on finding artifacts which scale her damage values even higher which, fortunately, is pretty easy to do because Clorinde scales completely off of ATK and CRIT. As such, here are the main stats you should be on the lookout for when grinding out Clorinde’s artifacts:

  • Hourglass (Sands): ATK%
  • Goblet: Electro DMG Bonus
  • Circlet: CRIT DMG / CRIT Rate

In addition to the main stats, you’ll also want a good crop of substats to raise her values even further. Substats make up the brunt of a character’s raw stats, making them extremely important. If you want to know the best substats to go for on Clorinde, as well as the order you should prioritise them in, here they are:

  1. ATK%
  2. CRIT DMG
  3. CRIT Rate
  4. Elemental Mastery

Clorinde Team Compositions

Clorinde Aggravate and Hyperbloom Team

Thanks to her ability to deal with consistent and rapid bursts of Electro with her Skill, Clorinde works well in teams built around Electro Reactions like Overload, Aggravate, or Hyperbloom. This first team, in particular, will take advantage of her high Electro uptime to dish out a massive amount of Aggravate and Hyperbloom damage, with her teammates all being superb off-field supports or DPS characters. For the unaware, Aggravate is triggered when Electro and Dendro meet, increasing all Electro DMG dealt in that instance, whereas Hyperbloom occurs when you strike a Dendro Core with Electro, causing it to explode and seek out nearby targets.

If a Dendro-focused Clorinde team seems interesting to you, run her alongside Navia, Furina, and a Hydro or Electro healer of your choice.

Nahida, Archon of Dendro

Nahida, Archon of Dendro

The main crux of this composition, and Clorinde’s best partner for an Aggravate team, is Navia, the Archon of Dendro and possibly the best unit at applying Dendro in Genshin Impact. With her Skill, she can quickly apply Dendro to multiple targets and cause any Dendro Reactions to chain between them. This includes Aggravate. As such, you can pop onto the field as Navia, tag a bunch of enemies with her Skill, and then dip, allowing Clorinde to deal massive amounts of Aggravate damage in a short time. Furthermore, her Burst is a great way to quickly increase the whole team’s Elemental Mastery, improving everyone’s reaction damage.

The next member of the team is Furina, another Archon and someone of equal power to Nahida. Not only does she deal a high amount of off-field Hydro DMG but her Hydro application is absurd, allowing you to comfortably slot Bloom and Hyperbloom into your rotation. This gives another Reaction for Clorinde to work off and an extra source of off-field damage, increasing the skill ceiling and potential of this team dramatically. Additionally, like Nahida, her Burst is also great, allowing you to increase the Elemental DMG of all party members in but a few moments.

Lastly, because of Furina’s health draining and Clorinde’s bonus Bond of Life gain, you’ll want to bring a healer with you as your fourth party member. Who you bring is up to you, though. Hydro healers like Kokomi, Barbara or even the soon-to-be-added Sigewinne will all work well, increasing the HP of all party members and keeping everyone alive in the process. Meanwhile, an Elector healer like Shinobu will also work great, giving up consistent off-field healing which can also trigger Reactions when Clorinde’s Skill and Burst are on cooldown.

Premium Aggravate Team

Premium Aggravate Team

Clorinde Overload Team

Another Electro Reaction Clorinde can comfortably play with is Overload. This team is completely hyper-focused on just Overload, so it’s more manageable than the several layers-deep approach of the Aggravate team. However, just because it’s less complicated doesn’t mean it’s any less powerful, with Overload Clorinde able to dish out some very high and reliable damage at a high rate, especially with the smorgasbord of buffs she’ll be receiving.

To make an Overload Clorinde team in Genshin Impact, run her with Chevreuse, Bennett, and Yae Miko (or Fischl for F2P players)

Chevreuse, Overload Master

Chevreuse, Overload Master

Chevreuse is the cornerstone of any Overload team thanks to her ability to make the Reaction reduce both Pyro and Electro RES on affected enemies. She also increases the ATK of all Pyro and Electro allies whenever she uses her Skill, something you can quickly pop before switching to Clorinde for a brutal clean-up. Running Chevreuse does mean sacrificing other characters who aren’t Electro or Pyro so just keep that in mind.

Alongside Chevreuse is another Pyro mainstay, Bennett. He’s here as both a healer and a buffer, with the latter being more important in moment-to-moment gameplay. His Burst will provide Clorinde and your chosen Electro sub-DPS with a big ATK boost, something that will allow them to shred through enemies like a hot knife through butter. Additionally, his healing will help trigger Clorinde’s passive Bond of Life gain, letting her go even further beyond.

Finally, you’ll want to bring along either Yae Miko or Fischl as they’ll serve as a potent off-field Electro sub-DPS. For Yae, her talismans are easy to place and do tons of damage, allowing you to always have the Overload RES reduction from Chevreuse active. Meanwhile, Fischl may be a bit weaker in most scenarios but she has a lot of value for F2P players, especially those who have her C6 which causes Oz to coordinate his attacks with the on-field unit. Either character is very good and has a place on your Overload Clorinde team.

Premium Overload Team

Premium Overload Team

Clorinde F2P Team

The final team we’ll be discussing is a free-to-play Clorinde team comprised of units you can for free. Not everyone can get their hands on Nahida or Furina or even Chevreuse, for that matter. Don’t fret, though, as the free options available to Clorinde are still plenty strong. For this team, we’ll be going with a F2P variant of the Aggravate team.

For the best F2P Clorinde team in Genshin Impact, run her with Dendro Traveler, Fischl, and Barbara

While not as adept at Dendor application as Nahida, Dendro Traveler is still ridiculously good for a free unit, especially when it comes to applying Dendro quickly. Their Skill is an instant shot of Dendro which you can quickly exploit with Fischl or Clorinde for an easy Aggravate trigger, whereas their Burst reacts differently with various elements. You’ll often be seeing the Electro variant of their Burst which causes the damage ticks to go off at a much faster rate.

We’ve already gone over Fischl and Barbara in the teams above but we’ll quickly go over how they work in this composition. In the F2P team, Fischl is, once again, our main off-field DPS, peppering enemies with a considerable amount of Electro DMG without needing to step onto the field. Meanwhile, Barbara’s healing will keep everyone alive and fuel Clorinde’s Bond of Life. As a Catalyst user, she can also instantly hit enemies with Hydro, allowing high-skill players to still utilise Bloom and Hyperbloom in their F2P compositions.
