Genshin Impact | All Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone Locations (Into the Painting Guide)The Nation of War in Genshin Impact is full of secrets to unearth and treasures to find, with one of the most mysterious being the Broken Graffiti-Marked Stones. These strange shattered fragments can be found in specific chests across Natlan and, at first, they appear to be nothing more than pretty rocks. However, if you can find all six of them and reunite them with the mural they came from, you’ll unlock a treasure trove of rewards, including the Into the Painting Achievement and two chances for a Green Obsidian Fragment.

Here’s where to find all six of the Broken Graffiti-Marked Stones and how to use them in Genshin Impact Version 5.0.

Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone

All Graffiti-Marked Stone Locations in Genshin Impact Version 5.0

Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone 1 Location

The first of our mysterious stones is the only one found in the northern reaches of Natlan. To be more specific, you’ll find the first Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone in the Sulfurous Veins, a massive mineshaft which has incredible significance for the Children of Echoes.

On the eastern edge of the mine, you’ll find an adult Tepetlisaur burrowing incessantly into the wall. Nearby, there will be a massive stone blockage in front of a hidden chamber, one you can only unlock by performing a small puzzle with Kachina or a Tepetlisaur.

Completing the puzzle will break open the stone, revealing a hidden room containing two baby Tepetlisaurs as well as a Luxurious Chest, the first to contain a Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone.

Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone 2 Location

The second Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone in Genshin Impact can be found near the Statue of the Seven in the Basin of Unnumbered Flames area of Natlan. Upon arriving, look for a nearby campsite where a thin plume of smoke is rising from a low-blazing fire and go towards it.

In the makeshift camp, you’ll find a large rock adorned with the painting of a flying squirrel reaching out towards something blue. If that wasn’t enough of a clue, there are a few stray Quenepa Berries scattered around the nearby area.

Go to the base of the painted rock and you’ll receive the option to offer up one Quenepa Berry. Shortly after doing so, a flying squirrel will glide down, ready to enjoy a tasty snack, and they’ll gift you a lovely Treasure Chest as thanks. Fortunately for us, this Chest contains the second of the Graffiti-Marked Stones in Natlan.

Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone 3 Location

As for the third Graffiti-Marked Stone, you’ll be heading the raised stretch of land to the north of the Ancestral Temple. The easiest way up there is to travel to one of the Ancestral Temple Teleport Waypoints and then indwell a Yumkasaur to grapple your way up to the top of the cliff. Although, you can also use Kachina to scale the wall or simply try your luck with climbing.

Whatever way you end up choosing, keep an eye out for a Yumkasaur Sauroform Tribal Warrior leaning against a rock once you reach the top. Nearby, there will be a Kamera set up on a tripod and, if you interact with it, will begin a small mini-game where several Anemo Slimes begin drifting down the twin rocks where the Warrior was standing.

Painted on the rocks are two massive explosions and, to succeed in this challenge, you can only blow up the Anemo Slimes when they pass directly over the explosion symbols. You can use a Yumkasaur or a Bow character to easily achieve this. When both sets of Anemo Slimes have been correctly dealt with, a special chest will pop which contains the next Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone.

Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone 4 Location

The fourth Graffiti-Marked Stone in Genshin Impact is pretty close to the second as it is also near the Ancestral Temple. This time, you’ll need to head to the southeastern edge of the Temple floor. This is near where the water comes in from the neighbouring sea via a tall waterfall.

Near the base of the waterfall, you’ll find a cluster of Flamegranate Fruits as well as a portion of the wall which seems especially brittle and weak. Indwell a nearby Yumkasaur and you can swallow then spit a Flamegranate at this broken part of the wall, blowing it up completely and revealing a hidden chest within. As you may expect at this point, this chest contains one of our Broken Graffiti-Marked Stones.

Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone 5 Location

You’ll find the fifth stone on Teticpac Peak, the mountain separating Ameyalco Waters from the Ancestral Temple. There are several Teleport Waypoints on the peak and, even if you don’t have them unlocked, you can use the Yumkasaurs to reach the top from the Scions of the Canopy.

On the western edge of Teticpac Peak, you’ll find a lone Yumkasaur standing by a batch of Flamegrante Fruits. Nearby, there will be a floating Anemo Slime which you can use the Yumkasaur to destroy. Popping the Slime will cause a sudden stream of air to emerge nearby, spawning a Common Chest along with it. Inside this chest, you’ll find Natlan’s next Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone.

Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone 6 Location

The last Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone is located in Ameyalco Waters, the watery land of the People of the Spring. The chest in question is on the western edge of the map, near the Sanctum of Rainbow Spirits Artifact Domain.

To the south of the Domain, there is a tiny pool of water near the main path leading towards the People of the Springs. Inside the pool will be two main things of note; the first is a Tribal Warrior examining an incomplete piece of graffiti while the second is a large piece of Condensed Crystal. This piece of ore is different than usual, though, as it also has a large piece of stone on the bottom.

Break the Condensed Crystal and the pool will begin to steadily flood and, when it reaches the lip, the mural will complete itself, revealing two baby Kholosaurs. This will spawn the final chest containing the sixth Broken Graffiti-Marked Stone.

Where to Use the Grafiitti-Marked Stones in Genshin Impact

With all six Broken Graffiti-Marked Stones in your possession, you can finally put them to use. Head on over to the Scions of the Canopy and indwell a Yumkasaur (or just use Kinich when he releases) as you’ll need one to scale the nearby cliff. Your goal is the top of a tall waterfall which runs through the western edge of the Scions of the Canopy, one you can reach using the Yumkasaurs’ grapple ability.

Once you reach the top, make your way over to the Teleport Waypoint on the edge of the tunnel system, where a rickety pair of wooden bridges lead towards Ameyalco Waters. To the left of the Waypoint, on the opposite side of the bridges, there’s a small hollow which you can jump down. This path will eventually take you to a grand wall, one marked with the beginning of a painting.

Walking up to the wall will allow you to put in the Broken Graffiti-Marked Stones one by one. With each stone added to the wall, you will eventually complete the mural, covering the wall in graffiti. Soon after, the wall will disappear, revealing a cave with the same designs as the mural. This will unlock the Into the Painting Achievement, netting you an extra 5 Primogems.

That’s not all there is to plunder, though, as inside the cave you’ll find two chests. One is a Luxurious Chest which you can open as soon as you enter, while the other is a Luxurious Chest you will only be able to unlock once you guide three Monetoo back to their pedestals. Both of these chests have a chance to award a Green Obsidian Fragment, which you will need to create a Green Obsidian Ring and unlock the Secret Area for the Scions of the Canopy.
