All Golden Hour Treasure Chest Locations in Honkai: Star Rail

A hefty amount of treasure chests are scattered in Golden Hour of Honkai: Star Rail’s largest, most detailed maps yet; in the streets, cafe lofts, and even in incredibly small spaces where the Trailblazer may not fit. Uncover all of them by following this guide and tracking down every last one of those pesky chests for the maximum amount of rewards. 

Topaz players will have a much easier time coming across the treasure chests. As part of her passive, Topaz’s Warp Trotter Numby will seek out nearby chests whenever Topaz is on the field. If you find that there are one or two that you are missing from Golden Hour, it wouldn’t hurt to equip Topaz to hunt out the rest with Numby. For those who don’t have Topaz though, this guide will cover where to find all of the treasure chests in Golden, even the ones that are locked away behind the story quest. 

All Treasure Chest Map Locations in Golden Hour for Honkai: Star Rail

Honkai: Star Rail started at 15 treasure chests being the most you could find in a single map, but Golden Hour yields a whopping number of 30 chests. The 2.0 update only continues to bring gifts upon gifts for the exploration Trailblazer, and while that number can seem incredibly daunting, this guide will make it super easy to track all of them down so you complete this map and become ready for the next one.

There are no big bad enemies in this area, so players are free to snoop around the streets while dodging speeding vehicles, and although there are a few puzzles to get to some of those chests, this guide will cover how to get past them. Four of the chests will be locked behind the quest, so make sure you completed or mostly completed the current Trailblaze Quest so you have no trouble getting the rest of your treasure. For more on how to find those chests, check out the later part of this article, but as for the bulk of your finds, here is where you can find all of the treasure chests in Penacony’s Golden Hour.

All Treasure Chest Map Locations on F2 in Golden Hour

Treasure Chest 1

1. Teleport to the Reverie Hotel Entrance Space Anchor and head Right
2. Take another Right, facing the Reverie Hotel and the chest is in between two benches

Treasure Chest 2

1. Either Travel back towards the western section of the map, left from the Reverie Hotel Entrance Space Anchor
2. Stay on the plaza and look for the overhang next to the stairs
3. The next chest will be beside two benches and a plant bed

Or

1. Take the Reverie Hotel Entrance Space Anchor and head to the left section next to the stairs but do not take the stairs down
2. The chest will be beside two benches and a plant bed 

Treasure Chest 3

1. From the previous chests, head down the stairs and take a left
2. Keep to the sidewalk until you reach a small area located down a short flight of stairs
3. There should be another Hanu’s Grate and a Phone Booth in the area
4. The chest will be just down a few steps in front of the Phone Booth and facing Hanu’s Grate

Treasure Chest 4

1. From Chest 3, cross the street to head up north and find the first staircase up
2. You should still be located on the west side of the map so the first staircase should lead you up to a variety of shops
3. Take an immediate left from the stairs where a Pepeshi-owned  Popcorn Vendor truck is stationed
4. Search behind the truck to locate the next chest along the wall

Treasure Chest 5

1. If the player takes a right at the stairs, there is an upper pavilion next to the stairs overlooking the street that’ll have another chest along the railing

Treasure Chest 6

1. Travel north to where the Sweet Corner Space Anchor is located and continue along the right-side shopping area
2. The chest should be located in a small dip in between the buildings just before the shop with the Card Suite windows

Treasure Chest 7

1. From the Sweet Corner Space Anchor, take a left past the Golden Capsule Machine
2. Take an immediate left once you pass the Golden Capsule Machine to a small area with a Phone Booth and several boxes
3. The chest will be along the wall just in front of the Phone Booth

Treasure Chest 8

1. Left of the Golden Capsule Machine is an upper court with several chairs and tables
2. Take the staircase up to the upper court and keep along the railing to discover the next chest in between various tables and seatings

Treasure Chest 9 

1. Teleport to the Aideen Park Space Anchor and take an immediate right, past the plant beds towards the street
2. Just before you take the staircase down, there is a chest on the left side of the staircase that overlooks the street

Treasure Chest 10

1. If you take a right just before the staircase, there is a small area with another Food Truck run by the Pepeshi
2. Like before, the player must pass between the Food Truck and a Pepeshi couple to spot the chest along the wall

Treasure Chest 11

1. The next few chests will be along the main road so cross safely to the other side of the street after you take the stairs down
2. There’s another food truck on the other side of the street, just past the pathway that connects to the two main roads
3. Ignore that path and instead look to the right of the path, behind the food truck
4. The next chest should be located in between musical benches

Treasure Chest 12

1. Keep to the same side as the sidewalk as the last chest was found and travel south, back towards the Reverie Hotel
2. Halfway down, players should come across two giant and green ball-like structures meant to help the Trailblazer travel through floors of the Golden Hour
3. A chest should be on the right side of these two Pinballs along the railing as depicted in the image

Treasure Chest 13

1. Teleport to the Clockie Plaza Space Anchor and travel north, past the Clockie Statue
2. Take the stairs up and take a right
3. Cross the street safely and there is a set of stairs leading up toward the eastern section of the map
4. Take up one flight of stairs and take a left at the first shop
5. Another immediate left will reveal a chest in the corner of the railing looking over the main street

Treasure Chest 14

1. Up those same stairs, players can continue up to a plaza that opens up with several more tables and seating arrangements
2. The next chest will be behind the last table on the player’s left next to a plant bed

Treasure Chest 15

1. From Chest 14, players should continue east down the same path up another flight of stairs
2. Continue past the large building where the palm trees are planted in the middle of a small resting area and the next chest should be beside a pair of men and a musical bench

Treasure Chest 16

1. Teleport to the Oti Mall Space Anchor on the east side of the map
2. From there, head east to the large empty corridor where a future event will totally not take place
3. The chest will be on the left side of the hall if players are heading from the Space Anchor, past a plant bed and bench (Image is taken from a different angle to help identify where the chest is based on nearby items)

Treasure Chest 17

1. Teleport to the Oti Mall Space Anchor and head west down a flight of stairs, preferably going down the flight of stairs right next to the Space Anchor
2. Just before the player reaches the SoulGlad Fountain, there is a chest in the few halls connecting the two pathways heading back to the main street
3. Right as the player reaches the Trendy Laser Gun Billboard, the chest will be in the middle of two pillars with the SoulGlad Fountain behind it

Treasure Chest 18

1. From the Trendy Laser Gun Billboard is located, players can either take a right to locate Chest 17 or take a left to find that Treasure Chest 18 is on the elevated platform next to the stairs
2. Players shouldn’t continue down the stairs and instead stick to the same floor where the next chest will be along the rail, overlooking the main street below

Treasure Chest 19

1. Teleport to the Oti Mall Space Anchor and head south past the Dreamscape Sales Store
2. Players should continue down the path until they reach the sports car.
3. From there, pass the vehicle where the next chest will be in a small space just to the left of the resting area south of the car (Image taken to capture the chest and help players locate where it is in terms of the vehicle.)

Treasure Chest 20

1. From the sports car south of the Oti Mall Space Anchor, head east down the flight of stairs, just before the main street
2. Shortly after descending the stairs, take a left past the Pepeshi girl and search behind the sign where a chest will be hidden along the wall.

Treasure Chest 21

1. Teleport to The Reverie Hotel Entrance Space Anchor
2. Safely cross the street and take the left side of the main street towards the Pinball Transports
3. Take the second Pinball used in the quest with Firefly to the cafe on F3 of the map
4. If missed before, the chest should be in front of the window to the cafe shop

Treasure Chest 22

1. Teleport to the Dreammerse Shopping Street Space Anchor of F1
2. Head east to the three glasses of SoulGlad 
3. The chest should be just before the player takes the stairs down next to a plant bed 

Treasure Chest 23

1. At the Dreammerse Shopping Street Space Anchor, head south and take the stairs up to the next area where there are several shops
2. Take an immediate left after taking up the stairs and the next chest will be by several suitcases, a bellman’s trolley, and a Pepeshi on a bench past a short flight of stairs

Treasure Chest 24

1. Teleport to the Clockie Plaza Space Anchor, the player should arrive just in front of Clockie
2. Past the statue, keep to the left side of Clockie where the chest will be in the same plaza area in between two musical benches just past the statue

Treasure Chest 25

1. At the Clockie Plaza Space Anchor, two paths lead lower on F1, the path on the left will have a chest near the stairs
2. Take the stairs down past a large poster, and two musical benches that’ll have a man with a golden head seated on one
3. The chest will be on the left just before the shop and past the two benches

Treasure Chest 26

1. At the Clockie Plaza Space Anchor, the player can take the right path on F3 and head down the path, past the hallway that’ll lead to the shopping area and towards the other flight of stairs
2. Before the stairs, the next chest should be past two musical benches in front of the stairs as indicated in the image above

OR

1. Teleport to The Reverie Hotel Entrance and head down the stairs
2. Pass the street safely and keep to the right of the path down the main street
3. Pass the small stand where the Pepeshi Merchant is, in front of the stairs that lead down to F3, and take the stairway
4. The chest should be on the player’s right in front of two benches 

How to Access Extra Treasure Chests Through Hanu’s Adventure in Honkai: Star Rail

Hanu’s Adventure Grate in Honkai Star Rail

Four chests in Golden Hour are inaccessible until the player finishes the questline, “Good Omen, My Friend,” where Sampo will lead the Trailblazer through their first tutorial with Hanu. Hanu’s Gates can be found dotted throughout Penacony where the Trailblazer will transform into a miniature mob creature named Hanu. Only in this form will they be able to access special areas that will help solve future puzzles and reveal the last few chests for Golden Hour.

Taking the Dreammerse Shopping Street Space Anchor, the Trailblazer will be led to the Pepeshi Salon where Sampo will unveil the tutorial and accessibility to transform in Hanu. Taking Hanu’s Adventure, a small map will open up in F1 that will allow you to grab those last remaining chests. 

Treasure Chest 27

1. As Hanu, head north up the path where the first chest will be hidden in between two folding walls

Treasure Chest 28

1. Turn right from Chest 27 and pass the stacks of books where players will face their first obstacle
2. Use the Television to transform back into the Trailblazer and destroy the balloons.
3. Because you aren’t small enough, transform into Hanu and pass through the section again to utilize Hanu’s next ability
4. Following the tutorial, use the Rocket to teleport yourself to the other side of the fence. 
5. Chest 28 will be against the fence on the side you are now on

Treasure Chest 29 

1. Use the television to transform back into the Trailblazer, the set should be on the lefthand corner once Hanu teleports to the other side of the fence
2. Heading west to the other pathway, players should reveal the other balloon previously blocking the path and a floating chest above it.

Treasure Chest 30 

1. The next chest is the Treasure you’re looking for in Hanu’s Adventure, so to access it return to the fence where Chest 28 is
2. The Rocket that is located near the fence is the teleport that will take the player to the top of the bookshelves.
3. Follow the only path Hanu can take and the chest should be at the end of the platform

There are still a few other rewards that the player will need to look out for in Golden Hour, so head over to where to find all of the Lordly Trashcans in Penacony to help 100 percent Golden Hour so you’re good to head into the next map.
