Venture through the hallowed halls of the Family’s inner sanctum, Dewlight Pavilion, for treasure chests and more in Honkai: Star Rail as of the 2.2 update. Honkai: Star Rail’s Dewlight Pavilion is the player’s first look at the inside of the Family’s inner sanctum in Penacony, but that isn’t nearly as important as the treasure chests that strew the area. With the release of the 2.1 update, players now have access to two whole new maps with access to Sunday’s mansion in the Dreamscape available.

To get all of the treasure chests in Dewlight Pavilion, players will need to have completed the Trailblaze Mission in its entirety, otherwise, there will be rooms that are not yet unlocked. While a majority of the Origami birds and Lordly Trashcans can be obtained when only completing it partially, there is one room that is located on the right side that can only be unlocked with the quest, Outsourcer. By following this guide, we’ll cover all the routes players need to take to get the chests in this area and complete the map for the maximum rewards.

Without going into spoilers, players can access most of the treasure chests during certain characters’ POVs when exploring the Dewlight Pavilion. Some areas might be blocked depending on which route you’re on, but all of the chest locations will be the same no matter if you get it during one character’s POV or your return to the area after the story is done. Dewlight Pavilion is also full of traps and surprises, so take caution when exploring otherwise you might find yourself in a surprise battle.

Treasure Chests 8 and 9 from Hanu’s Adventure on F2 of the Dewlight Pavilion

The first Hanu’s Mission the player will encounter is in this portrait room. To access that, the player will need to complete the room’s puzzle and get to the ceiling. This can be done by taking the path on the far side of the room next to the Robin portrait and taking the wall path to the ceiling. A television will sit off to the side so players can transform into Hanu.

A new feature Honkai: Star Rail introduces is the accessibility to a missile launcher for Hanu. By collecting the launcher, Hanu will already have one charge. If the player fires and misses, the shot will be wasted and the launcher will soon respawn for players to collect again. Enemies defeated by the launcher will drop one missile, so carefully plan when you shoot and you can gain plenty of ammo to complete the puzzle.

Once transformed, cross the room, using the chandeliers as hiding spaces to avoid enemies. There will be a Teleport Rocket that players can use on the opposite end of the room next to a Bubble Tower. Take the Teleport and head to the opposite side to collect the Missile Launcher. To gain the maximum amount of ammo, wait to attack enemies until they are gathered together. If close enough, they will all be destroyed by the launcher and drop a missile each. For one missile, the player can gain up to three ammo. Wait for the Tin Man to rejoin the Television sets and shoot then. Once those enemies are defeated, wait for the next group of Tin Man’s to gather together to defeat them with the Hanu Launcher.

The first chest will be behind a hidden section of the wall. A pile of fireworks is placed along the far side of the wall. Use the Hanu Launcher to destroy the wall open up a secret path and uncover the chest. The final chest for completing this Hanu Mission is further behind the other Tin Man’s in the room. Once all defeated with the Hanu Launcher, players should have no issue getting to the chests depicted in the images above.

The next area on the second floor of Dewlight Pavilion can only be unlocked by completing the Outsourcer quest. Check your phone messages to unlock it, the message will be sent by a Bloodhound contractor. After running through the map a few times to gather all the needed documents, the third run of the room will be where players can access the last two chests on F2.

Players can tell once the room is the final room when the Bubble Tower is then located on the left-hand side of the stairway. By regaining a bubble charge from the tower, head towards the back of the room through the path on the right side of the room. There will be a convergence that will take the player to the back wall. Take a left and recharge at the Bubble Tower behind the wall. Create a new bridge of the convergence by the Bubble Tower and you will be taken to the second Hanu Mission.

Transform into Hanu and collect the missile launcher. The best way to go about succeeding in this mission is to wait until all three Television sets are near each other or the pile of fireworks in the center of the room. You can either wait or use your presence to trigger the enemies’ suspicion to offset their walking pattern.

Once they are dealt with, make sure you have plenty of ammunition, even if you only defeated two televisions. Defeat the other Television Sets if you haven’t and then head past them toward the birds at the end of the hallway. They won’t trigger if you don’t get too close, but Hanu’s Missile Launcher should automatically pick up on one of their locations. Attack one bird and they should all fall. Collect the chest from this area.

Next, you’re going to want to take all your ammo from these fallen enemies and head toward the wall the Televisions were patrolling next to. It should have two entrances for Hanu as indicated by the pile of books. Take one up and you’ll be in a hidden space where there is a pile of fireworks next to the wall. Attack the fireworks and blow up the wall, where another pile of fireworks will be located. Blow these up too and then the enemies too before they attack you. The last chest will be behind these enemies along the wall. (Can you gain the achievement for defeating all the enemies in this area and attaining full charges for the Hanu Launcher?)

That may be the only downside of this map, and it’ll be the same with the Clock Studios map. For other treasure chest locations throughout Penacony, be sure to visit some of the maps listed below!
