All A Child’s Dream Treasure Chest Locations in Honkai: Star Rail

In Penacony’s first topsy-turvy map, treasure chests can appear just about anywhere on the walls and ceilings of A Child’s Dream. This guide is here to tackle the new 3D layout of the player’s map to help you figure out which paths you need to take to gather all the prizes in this area.

From what seems to be heavily inspired by Salvador Dali and Alice in Wonderland comes Honkai: Star Rail’s ‘A Child’s Dream’ map where treasure chests are not simply on diverging paths, but above the player’s head and dangling off the side of the walls. With no jump button, the Trailblazer’s only option is to walk the walls themselves with the help of the Dreamwalker mechanic.

The Dreamwalker mechanic is hilariously introduced twice to the player by Black Swan at different intervals within the Trailblaze Mission. To make it stick, we’re going to cover it one more time in this guide. The Dreamwalker ability comes from gaining charges at Bubble Towers which can have anywhere from 1 to 5 charges. To use them, players must press the R key at any Soulglad Converge along the wall where the golden bubbles will transform into a Bridge for the player to cross.

Within A Child’s Dream, the mechanic will test the player’s quick thinking when it comes to using these charges wisely. There will be paths that have many options and Empty Bubble Towers to use along the way, which can recharge your uses to full, but will destroy any bridges created before getting to that tower. If you mess up, you can also always return to the Bubble Tower to refresh your charges to try a different path.

The best path to take when traversing A Child’s Dream is to travel South from the Clock Factory Space Anchor and search for the treasure chests along the way as you head from south to north. The pathways forward will make a lot more sense and may lead to fewer lost Trailblazers along the way.

As this is the first map that employs the use of the Dreamwalker, the puzzles are less difficult than they will be in later maps. It’ll teach the player to keep a vigilant eye and test out any path even if it seems there’s no way forward or looks similar to other areas you may have been in before. There are only 12 chests in this area and this is how you collect all of them including the Warp Trotter at the very end.

A Child’s Dream is the easiest map for players to tackle and gather all of the chests since it has the fewest and the 3D-mapped rooms are fairly simple. For other guides on how to collect all of the chests in Honkai: Star Rail’s Penacony, be sure to visit the articles below.
